Bflo, I'm so sorry for your heart break. Stay close to Our Mother's heart, she'll show you the way. My prayers go up for your mother and your family. Even when you are all doing well enough, the burden is so great, it's still difficult. May God bless you all.
Prayed at Mass this afternoon, will pray again tomorrow at Mass for all on the forum who need prayers and their families.
Praying at Mass this morning to St Joe, BC for you mum and yourself and your family. A hard time but, thank God you have a great faith. Remember, O most chaste Spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession was left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power, I fly unto you, and beg your protection. Despise not, O foster-father of the Redeemer, my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.
Amen! Bflocatholic,I feel for you in this sudden turn of events! O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you!
Thank you all very much... Your prayers mean a great deal to me and are helping my family tremendously, I know. Thank you!
Hi Friends, Thank you all for your prayers these past few weeks- my mother passed away early this morning (around 4:30 AM Buffalo time) in hospice. My father, siblings and I were all with her and it was a blessed passing. Please continue to pray for my mother and the repose of her soul- her name is Anna. Please also pray for my father and siblings, as these will be difficult days for all of us... Finally, I want you all to know that these past few weeks since I posted in this thread have been grace-filled for my mother. The highlight was when a young priest from my parish made a visit to my mother at home, heard her confession and annointed her. It was such a calming experience for my mother and really put her at peace. I know that the grace of a peaceful death is the fruit of all the prayers going up for my mother. Thank you so much. God bless all of you.
I'm so sorry for you and your family. There is just no easy way through this but know that our prayers support you in your journey. May God's grace rest with you all.
I am so sorry! I wiill offer Palm Sunday Mass for the repose of her soul. O, Mary, Our Mother, please take Ann into Thy bosom n release her soul if she is not in heaven yet. O Mother, with Your tender tears, comfort and console the family. Secure them under Your mantle and give them peace. Amen
There is no loss such as that of a mother... praying and will offer Mass tomorrow for her you and your family and loved ones... I miss my mom. Linda
I know what a Cross it is to loose a mother. But she will never be far away, just a step beyong the veil. In so many ways I feel my mother closer now than when she was alive. They don't stop loving and caring because they cross to the other side. I think the good God has a job keeping loving mothers up in heaven, while their children walk below, love calls them back.
Bflocatholic, I was away this weekend. The famuly went down to visit our two sons near New York City. I am so sorry. At least your Mom and Deanna's Mom was blessed by the presence of family and you witnessed the gift of peace with which she was blessed. Alleluia! It has been 36 years for me and there are times I wish I could hear my Mom's happy greeting. Well, one thing's for sure: I won't have to wait another 36! My prayers are with you! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
I'm sorry to hear the sad news, bflocatholic, but I'm glad her last days were peace-filled. That's a wonderful blessing, something to give you consolation in the days ahead. I'm still processing my mom's death. Some days it doesn't seem possible she's gone. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
My heart so goes out to you who recently lost your mothers. It's so hard, just an on going process of adjustment to loss. Today I was going through a drawer that I hadn't been in in ages and found some old jewelry of my mother's. There were earrings that my father had brought back to her from occupied Japan, years and years ago. I sat on the floor and just cried. There's nothing like the love of your mother, nothing. It was the first introduction to the Love of God. My prayers are so with you.
