From Wendy Cukierski: ....tonight (Friday)...until 8 pm (est) tomorrow (Saturday) would you join me in "fasting" for Ava? She is a sweet little girl in the final stages of DIPG (...a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma tumor located in the pons (middle) of the brain stem). She comes from a big, beautiful family and seeing them all lavish love and compassion upon her, brings me to tears. Her mom is asking us to pray that she makes it to Christmas day..or a miraculous healing, if it be He is will. I will be asking Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal for her intercession and healing of this little girl. ellen

For those of you who were praying for little Ava... Here's the update I received from Wendy today: "I am so sorry... I need to update everyone. Ava passed into eternity on the night of December 17th. She is no longer suffering...but her beautiful large family is." Sometimes Heavens answer to our prayers is "No". I want to thank you all for taking the time from your busy pre-holiday time to pray for her.
