Thank you everyone for your generous response of prayers. It is a consolation and a joy to know you are keeping Rob in your prayers. As of last night he is stable but no obvious cause for the sudden on set. We are all still very very concerned and worried so again many thanks to all of you. May Our Lord richly bless you.
AED, I will be praying for your nephew Rob also. I apologize that I did not see this until now. I am not a doctor but this happened to my brother-in-law at around the same age and it was eventually determined that he has an allergy to gluten, first they thought it was Celiac's but then they determined it was an allergy. I do believe that food allergies can cause seizures, so he may want to pursue this with his doctor, of course after all of the other testing is completed.
Carol this is very helpful. He does suffer from allergies. They run in my family. He will need complete exam when he is able to fly home. He is right now in another city quite distant from his home at a family gathering. He is still in hospital just to be under observation a few more days. Everyone's prayers are working!praise God!!!
SG he did have all those tests and nothing showed. So a bit baffling. Carol 55 mentioned allergies which is something to mention to my sister since he does have allergies. Right now no one knows. We are just grateful he has stabilized. Very grateful for prayers!!!
Thank you lynnfiat. I am so grateful. I have been trying to pray for him in the Divine Will. ( I am new at it so not sure how to do it but going forward with what I do know)
I brought Rob with me to Adoration and placed him before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. I also posted his name for prayers on our Adoration prayer list for others to pray for him also (we have Perpetual Adoration in our Parish so he will be well covered in prayer). Let us pray to Luisa to intercede for him, and may God's Will be done. God always has plans no matter what the outcome - always for His Glory and the salvation of souls. Sometimes we do not see the results of our prayers and sufferings until we are with Jesus in Heaven, but His Love is for the good - always. God bless you.
Praise our Lord for that! The other thing to consider is electrolyte imbalance, but I'm sure the doctors would have run the relevant tests.
Thank you Thank you Lynn. . Thank you so much. I do believe that works everything to the best good. In the Divine Will there is only goodness and mercy.
Iam happy to report that my nephew has been released from the hospital and has flown home (he had been away to a family gathering several miles away when this occurred ) and he has an appt with neurologist first thing Monday. Still no sure diagnosis but no more seizures thank God. I am SO grateful to all of you wonderful prayer warriors. You are certainly in my prayers. I have been telling Our Lord all about all of you and tellingHim of my gratitude and begging him to richly bless you. So again thank you!!!!
