    Thanks a mil, that is a really great video on how to take Ivermectin. Unfortunately in Ireland the vaccine have become the golden calf, its nearly all some people talk about. Just heard earlier that in my local hospital over 50% of covid patients are vaccinated, which seems a common theme. I am actually more afraid of the vaccines than of covid, TBH, because of my stash of horse Ivermectin and vitamins.

    Thanks for all your prayers, well wishes, advise and kindness.
    God Bless.

    No offence to anyone who has taken the vaccine, its the constant talk about how the vaccines will save them that gets me.

    Yes Indy…this is what I don’t understand about the vaccine….I’m seeing and hearing the same.”Just heard earlier that in my local hospital over 50% of covid patients are vaccinated, which seems a common theme”….
    then what’s the point of getting it anyhow if you can still get Covid even if your vaccinated….?
    You can still get Covid and then add the risk associated with the experimental vaccine….? Doesn’t make sense. But they told everyone that the vaccine will protect you from Covid….guess” they” were wrong.

    I’m still rattled by my visit to the nail salon today. Everyone who works there is masked. I wear a mask. Today I was scolded because I am not vaccinated. I was scolded because of the fear they have of the public perhaps bringing in the new variant. These people are all Vietnamese and they were able to flee their country. So I didn’t know what to say but I managed to get out “it’s still a free country here.” It’s aggravating because they lapse into talking to each other in Vietnamese, which they did vociferously after I made my comment. I like these people and am a regular customer. But today I felt their fear. I also felt like I might have to go elsewhere if they keep making an issue of this.
    I realize this is a measly little problem, really. But it’s becoming obvious that there are divisive issues even in small ways.

    I will tell you one curious thing I saw in the hospital last week. We have whole suites of brand new ultra modern ICU's, which I have to enter into every night at work. It is like something from Star Trek. You see the patients in a mass of tubes and wires in enclosed glass boxes. Line of them, poor people, floating between life and death.

    But anyway I am always careful to wear a mask in there. It is a hospital rule and anyway virus or no virus, masks in ICU are a must even in normal times. But I saw to my great surprise several staff, doctors and nurses not wearing masks.

    I begin to think medical staff think often differently about things than the rest of us. I also notice several of them rushing to put on their masks when they see me coming.

    Oh HH….they have been indoctrinated with so much fear. You must have felt very uncomfortable. The division this is causing among everyone is unprecedented. This is so wrong.

    One report after another from doctors admit that the mask do not work, perhaps these doctors you are seeing know it.

    The more we know, the less we know. A friend in work was told by one Consultant to get the vaccine.

    He asked another Consultant and she told him not to take it. She said she would not have taken it herself but was going on holidays to Greece and had to take it. Otherwise she would not have.

    The division of thought on all of this is sad. Everyone just needs to make informed decisions. My worry is that much of the information they need to make this decision for themselves is being censored. Social media platforms are not even trying to hide this. They will kick you off if you post anything against the narrative that THEY subscribe to. They are not the arbiters of truth…they are dictorial censors. That ought to send chills up your spine. They get to decide what information you are allowed to see? That’s scary.

    Very thought provoking post.

    I wondered, what if the Hebrews, had turned to thanksgiving rather than grumble over the few discomforts on the journey!!!. They probably panicked and wanted to return to Egypt, where they knew, though it was very bad; trust and faith in God having vanished. In many ways our lives are like the journey from Egypt and we too grumble when we face challenges; we become disillusioned, lose hope and stress quietly sets in.

    What if we did something the Hebrews didn’t do, make a conscious decision to make gratitude\thankfulness a priority for the many small graces we neglect to notice.

    Here a most wonderful Psalm of David - Psalm 34. A Praise to God when he found himself in a pickle;

    1 I will extol the Lord at all times;
    his praise will always be on my lips.
    2 I will glory in the Lord;
    let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
    3 Glorify the Lord with me;
    let us exalt his name together.

    4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
    he delivered me from all my fears.
    5 Those who look to him are radiant;
    their faces are never covered with shame.
    6 This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
    he saved him out of all his troubles.

    7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
    and he delivers them.

    8 Taste and see that the Lord is good;
    blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
    9 Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
    for those who fear him lack nothing.
    10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
    but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
    11 Come, my children, listen to me;

    I'm praying for you, miker. This past Thursday, a fellow deacon, who has supervisory oversight for all deacons serving as chaplains, grilled me to determine why I had yet to be vaccinated. He ,himself, has been vaccinated, but even then family stated grandkids would be off limits if he chose to minister in the hospital. It is easy to understand his frustration with me because according to his family's view, I'm totally irresponsible. With the hype currently defused he is serving again, but it is sad to think that his family might use grandkids as a "weapon" to keep him in line should covid-19 accelerate once more!
    He is a good man and did not pressure me at all, but if an uptick occurs, I have to be prepared for a change in attitude.

    Things are going well at the nursing home. I'm re-acclimated, and though I don't distribute Holy Communion at the church service, I've been able to do so in the privacy of each resident's rooms, and even once in the hall today. One man who gratefully received Holy Communion today is 102-yrs-old! :):coffee:

    Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
