...about to be born so very soon now, literally... I'm at my son's home taking care oh his big brother "Wil" who is 21 months old, his daddy just called to let me know mommy is almost ready to "push," I'm so excited for my son and family, life is so beautiful! I pray all turns out well with mommy and baby...
My son just called and Well! 3 pushes and he has arrived, 8lbs 13 oz. whoa! Thank your St. Gerard Majella!!! My son says he's beautiful! Of course he is
Thanks everyone! Padraig, that brought tears to my eyes... very special! This little guy is only the second of 6 grand children I've gotten to see at birth, so I'm really basking in it... His name is Nathan - meaning: Nathan 'Given, Giving, Rewarded' male - Biblical Nathan Gift, Open-minded, Vivacious, Sociable male - Hebrew Nathan Gift of God male - Hebrew The best and funny part of this story is that my son and DIL couldn't decide whether to name him "Nathan" or "Henry;" both of us grandmas didn't particularly care for "Henry" it's ok but we both really liked "Nathan," of course we didn't say anything, after all we aren't the parents. So... we decided to join forces (yeah we're bad) and proceeded to look up the meanings of the names and well, the other grandma said "wait a minute you might want to reconsider because big brother's (who is 21 months old) name is "William" and it means "The Conqueror" and boy does little "Wil" live up to his name! Seriously though, "Henry" means, get this, "Home Ruler." again, They decided to name him "Nathan." We think they made a very wise choice. Thank you God!
How lovely, Praise God for the health of mother and child. I'll be praying for the bonding and unity of the family and all the glorious cueing and kissing the family will do. What a huge blessing to you!
