I certainly agree with you, Padraig. The first six hours of last Friday were one of the most intense periods of my life...it was truly touch and go for a while there. It was a miracle and there were several things that could have - and were working to derailed it. But I am greedy on this. I would rejoice if this become a big shot in reviving a true culture of life in my home country that might spread from there. And I want the Lord to show decisively that He is Master of life - that medical personnel are merely assistants - and they should show the same dedication to the value of life as their Master does.
I love it Charlie, from your lips to God's ears- my life's work has been with individuals with severe neurological disability. It is horrifying to me what is happening in our health system and what is yet to come. I am so thankful for the focus you have put on this Charlie and your stepping in.
I thank you all for your generous prayers on behalf of young Joseph Cronin. He was moved today to a hospital in New Jersey that is committed to helping him recover. The Cronin family asked me to pass on their profound gratitude, as well. We had 50 hours late last month where it was touch and go - and officials were determined to remove the boy from life support. May he rest in peace. I will pray for his family. A strange though occurred to me when I read this... do Christians not pray anymore for the raising of the dead? I obviously don't know the full story but it was a strange thought.
