James is an alcoholic and a paramedic who just broke his wrist and his rib and won't go to the hospital. He has PTSD from war and he is wanting prayer, but is about a 6 out of 10 to commit suicide. He keeps calling a friend of mine and asking for prayer (they live across the U.S. from each other). He is in his 40's. He needs intercession now. He won't go to the ER because he has been there drunk before and now they won't give him meds that will kill the pain of his ailments. So now he won't go at all and is killing the pain with alcohol. Not smart. Please interceed for him. He keeps going in and out of finding God and trying to change his life and ol 'red legs' keeps pulling him back in....THANK YOU!!!
Now this boy knows what's going on with him physically and still won't go? there must be huge fear and anger wrestling within him. Oh Lord of emerrcy and love, touch his heart.

Thank you all. James called my friend today and he was sober. A woman who belongs to his AA group called him and she is a pretty tough cookie. She got him to a meeting. Hopefully someone will convince him to go to the hospital. Please don't stop the prayers. He is waking up!
