Potential threat, Oroville Dam in California

May God protect everyone in the area. Poor California. Tilting between droughts and fires to torrential rains. I hope and pray your family stays safe.

..as you can see it if you watch it a while local officials are keeping a close , close eye on it, they're never out of sight.

The engineer in charge of this the tallest dam in the USA is only two years out of college which seems a little strange (maybe being set up as a fall guy if things go wrong..there is a dreadful maintenance history up there).

You can see they are working on it like crazy.

 

Thank you for prayers. We're driving to California at the end of this week for family events. So it's good we'll be there just in case.

 

What is their reason for a media blackout?

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for the Camp Fire Burn Area in...
Central Butte County in Northern California

* Until 1000 PM PDT.


That Flash Flood Warning image (purple area) I just captured from the NWS Sacramento feed sits directly north of the dam, and the Flood Warning image (wider green area surrounding purple area) corresponds with its wider capture area amazingly well too from what I understand.

I don’t know how they can dodge this bullet. It’s dead on target.

 

It does look like a direct bullet exactly to the place it could do the most harm. It makes me wonder... the chances of this happening exactly there and at exactly at this time must be billions and billions to one.

Which makes me wonder if some human hand is at work here. Is someone , 'Fixing' this somehow?

 

Ummmm....yeah.
