I agree for the moment but let's say that a new form of Mass is introduced and has words of 'consecration' that the signatories of the Dubia and other reliable bishops, cardinals and priests say are not valid. And let's say that Bergoglio bans the use of any other form of Mass. Do we attend the new form of 'Mass' or do we go to Mass at a schismatic church using the current wording or offering the TLM? This is what seems to be possible if not probable in the future.

Oh. Gulp. I have read about a 'new Mass' which has a very dodgy sounding communion liturgy, so you may well have a point. Didn't Francis himself say that the SSPX are fine for confessions? I 'think' we are free to attend their Masses if these are the only ones in town, which they would be if we have a heretical 'Mass' imposed on us. I'm not sure that Francis has the 'authority' to insist on an invalid Mass. By then the wagons will be circled and we will have our shotguns (rosaries...) ready. I think what I meant was that I'm not going over to the Orthodox, much as I love their icons and chant. I am in communion with the Saints, living and dead. I'd say we all at MOG are.

It is worth discussing this. I think you are really onto something. OTOH I don't think Burke et al will abandon us. But we may have to make stark choices.

Wonderful! I wouldn’t be surprised if it completely resolved prior to seeing a doctor.

Any family history of kidney stones?

I'm fairly sure that we shall. What a responsibility and privilege to have been specifically chosen to be alive at this time.

  9. It's actually worse than that - that tweet is a complete inversion. Makes me think of a pentagram.

Thanks for asking Brian. It is a lot worse this morning. Thank God I am able to pack up and hard for home. I would have been afraid of it getting worse and not being able to do so.
There is no family history of stones and I never had them myself.

So it may be something else.

It must have been very difficult for you in the camper in I'll health?

I don't know if anyone has posted this elsewhere but this is an image of the gift of a Hopi Indian idol presented to Francis earlier this month by Cindy McCain, Exec. Director of the UN World Food Program and widow of John McCain. Get ready for celestial 'kick back'.

The Vatican will be telling us it is Our Lady of the Hopi Indians.

Just catching up here Padraig. Sounds like kidney stones. I've had numerous hospital procedures in getting rid of them since my mid 20's. A really nasty dose. They seem to develop every 7 years. The best thing I have found for easing the pain is to squeeze half a lemon into a pint of water and drink a few of those throughout the day. I'll keep you in my prayers.

We also have the FSSP don't forget. And there are no doubts about their standing. Thank God for them, I am so blessed they have a community in my diocese.
