I suppose when Jesus was tried before the Sanhedrin and was found guilty it could only have happened because the ones who should have spoken fell silent. Most never even showed up. It was the same deal with Pilate , he knew Christ was innocent, he more nor less said so but he went along with things. That must be the motto of hell, 'I just went along with it'.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, don’t listen to what he says, watch what he does. What he does is promote heretics and sodomites, or their enablers. “Personnel is policy.” Occasionally he tasks one of his more orthodox ghost writers to pen something for him to regurgitate, something that sounds Catholic, but only to keep Joe-six-pack-Catholic in the pews and unsuspecting - and to have Joe continue to donate to the anti-church.
Proverbs 26:23-28 New Living Translation (NLT) Smooth words may hide a wicked heart, just as a pretty glaze covers a clay pot. People may cover their hatred with pleasant words, but they’re deceiving you. They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them. Their hearts are full of many evils. While their hatred may be concealed by trickery, their wrongdoing will be exposed in public. If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead. A lying tongue hates its victims, and flattering words cause ruin.
You know at the end of the day, we're neither going to be sent to heaven of hell because of anything Pope Francis gets up to. I wouldn't waste that much time on him one way or another. Let us just keep working on our own salvation. Don't get distracted by what is one way or another a load of old nonsense. One thing I do notice about wicked people is how much they do love to talk. They hate silence, they just yammer on and on and on and on..never this perpetual drama of trying to change everything.
We can offer our sufferings out of love for the Church - an interior white martyrdom under this pontificate. Let us not stop praying for the soul of this Pope.
The look of failure. Poor Pope Francis' pontificate is quickly running out of steam - A failed pontificate bereft of the supernatural. In 50 years no one will read his encyclicals and they will laugh out loud at the absurdity of 'heal me with your mouth' Fernandez. Don't worry folks - this nonsense wont last much longer the Francis bubble will soon burst, the appointment of Fernandez shows clear signs of desperation and Fernandez will soon put his foot in his mouth - we are in the dying embers of the Francis experiment.
Imagine this scenario at the great synod of synods. Instead of wasting time talking hot air in a contrived meeting where the outcomes are already decided before they even begin -- that the Holy Spirit inspired the world's bishops to collectively get on their knees to pray the rosary, repent and fast for the mess they have made of Christ's church & mission. That they pleaded with God to forgive their weakness and indifference wasting time at a meeting when a broken and lost world needs evangelization and the good news of the gospel. We live in strange times.
If the next Pope is a good , holy and strong Pope, a big, 'If', I have a deep hope he will reverse everything Pope Francis has done totally. His Encyclicals, Decrees, promotions, strike any mention of him anywhere, have his body dug up, cremated and dropped in the ocean. I am not being malicious he is just so toxic. Even burn his stamps. Let it be as if he never existed. ..and make it very clear to the Clergy and Faithful why he is doing this. Certainly unmake every single Cardinal he appointed. Have a trial and try him for Heresy.
Interesting is that in the biblical passage below, Jesus makes a prophecy about the 12 apostles (excluding the traitor Judas and adding his successor Matthias); that is, it is as if the ministry of Judas had never existed, although he was summoned by Christ himself; perhaps something similar will happen with the end of the current pontificate.
Insightful. 'Let us pray the gracious defender of our life, the only sure refuge of those in trouble, that His right hand may keep us safe amidst these dens of wolves and that He may guard us from harm, so that the footsteps of Apostates walking in Darkness may not be found, where should be the beautiful feet of those who carry the peaceful light of the Gospel, but that the most Gracious Father and God may help us gird up our loins, with bright candles in our hands and that He may enlighten the hearts of the heathen to gaze at the glorious Gospel of Christ'. St Boniface.
