No one here has said immigration is entirely the problem. In fact quite the opposite. But unfettered, unvetted migration overwhelming the social systems that are in place along with policies that no one has voted for is a huge problem. Along with the fact that those migrants who commit crimes are not held accountable and those who do not integrate are also a huge problem. White replacement theory has happened, it's no longer a theory. I reiterate that over 60% of major cities in Europe are migrants, does this seem normal, healthy or logical to you? While a significant portion of the population do support death laws, it was due to propaganda on behalf of the government. Most of the population, at least in North America, never wanted this stuff. They did not want foreign wars either. While it appears as though the people in general wanted these policies, they in reality did not, it was forced upon them. This is part of the globalist narrative, making this seem like the majority of the population want this toxic stuff. Those who do have been propagandized, just like with global warming and the COVID vaccine. So in reality, it is the fault of the governments across the west, who have been subjecting their populations to psychological operations. There is evidence admitted in the JFK files release that this stuff was going on in the sixties, even in the church. Likely, this has been happening ever since as we are finding out what has happened with NGOs (non-governmental organizations). All of the social justice stuff you have seen in the church since the sixties has likely been infiltrated by the CIA. I agree that we in general are reaping the fruit of our spiritual distancing from God, but it isn't close to being the whole story.
laugh out loud. All four promoted and supported contraception in their counties. Mandela introduced abortion into South Africa, Suarez contraception into Spain. All were therefore anti-life and promoted the contraceptive mentality in their respective countries.
I entirely agree with you. We have brought it upon ourselves. I am not attributing our decline to immigration, it is a consequence of our decline. Unfortunately, the predominant type of immigrant that is coming to Europe is not going to improve our situation. It is what we deserve.
La figura de Franco es muy controvertida. Esta considerado in dictador y fue cruel con los derrotados en la guerra civil española. No obstante, algunas cosas buenas si hizo.
I am hesitant now to blame our current decline solely on the behavior of the population in general, because of how it has been subject to occult psychological operations. Just as I wouldn't blame the Irish for the great hunger it was subject to, because we see that out of it came a great spread of the faith. It was as though a stage was being set for something further. I see the same kind of possibility currently, great suffering before great renewal. I believe that out of the great persecution we are currently under worldwide we are about to experience a great renewal of faith, as we have signs that it has already begun. To ignore the suffering of the ignorant and the faithful for me is to deny an important part of the stage. God allowed satan time and greater power to destroy the church.
I might not agree with all of your posts but i respect them and pray they make me think more. So, my question and please not to be offensive in any way, why to you switch back and forth in laungage? Peace.
its sad to see that the Pope will not be able to preside over any of the upcoming services. He must be suffering a lot. I pray for him. His choices of replacements this week are interesting. It appears he stayed away from papible candidates. https://aleteia.org/2025/04/16/cardinals-named-to-take-popes-place-at-triduum-liturgies-easter-still-uncertain?utm_medium=email&utm_source=sendgrid&utm_campaign=EM-EN-Newsletter-Daily-&utm_content=Newsletter&utm_term=20250416
Maundy Thursday is the only day in the liturgical year on which bishops of the Catholic Church are required to celebrate the Holy Liturgy in their episcopal church and diocese. The liturgy is intended to be accessible to all the faithful of the diocese. Since his election, Francis has not celebrated the Holy Thursday liturgy once in public with his diocese. His most important element of the Maundy Thursday liturgy seems to be the washing of the feet. This is what the Pope has been doing publicly every Maundy Thursday since his election. He visits institutions, mostly prisons, and places the element of foot washing at the centre. Not bad, but would also work on another day. For today, Francis has ‘expressed the wish’ to pay another visit to the Regina Coeli prison in Rome...

Nelson Mandela was a Communist. Adolfo Suarez was a Communist. Why on Earth would you, as a Catholic, admire Communists? It's bizarre. Communists hate the Church and want to eradicate it. It's a bit like a sheep saying it likes wolves. Karl Marx was possessed by demons. I am beginning to think you are trolling us. Nothing about you strikes me as being a Catholic. If you are not a Catholic be honest about it and admit it.
I am not sure which country Jose grew up in but it could be one in Latin America where liberation theology was promoted. I have spoken with several missionary priests who claim that liberation theology worked to help remove a lot of the dictatorships that were in power prior, and that life improved afterwards. There may be a different Catholic, political, social and world view if this is the case. Which would explain why he finds many things posted here shocking as well as vice versa for other members.
That is correct. Since the time of Luther, many Germans have made a different culture for themselves, incorporating Protestantism, Enlightenmentism, Nazi paganism and now are dominated by a post-Christian vague neo-paganism which implies that Germans are now predominantly completely different to who they once were, in that they now think and behave according to the traits and diktats of their new culture, such as it is. It has nothing to do with their genetic make-up, but is all down to accumulated and various choices that they have made-the story of the history both of man and the lives of individual men.
Mandela got a bit of a free pass, because we were all brainwashed at the time into believing that South Africa was a most unjust political entity. Events since bring that narrative into considerable doubt. How many older Zimbabeweans would have a bit of nostalgia for life under Smith's Rhodesia regime? The world has made an idol of democracy.
People have this huge need or hunger to have someone or something to believe in. It reminds me of what St Augustine said; You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.” But to believe in people or things that are not of God is to construct idols with feet of clay. I notice recently how many of the these human idols have been shown simply to be very, very bad immoral and selfish people. Young people are particularly good at seeing through the smoke and mirrors. We Catholics have our own heroes in the Saints. But they are saints because they disappeared and let God in. Perhaps that was our greatest mistake when faced with an evil monster like Papa Frankie. We expected someone who was Pope to be a saint, deeply wise and a genius. When he turned out to be a monster we simply did not know what to do with it. We went onto shock and denial.Popes had become idols. Papalidolatry.
