I think it is extremely dangerous to turn people's faith into a roller coaster of emotions, swinging between joy and disappointment. I see many people on social media thanking God for the Pope's supposed improvement. Resilience and acceptance of divine will should always be part of our lives, but if the Vatican is lying, that would be highly irresponsible.
I've never understood why everyone always wants to sugarcoat death and the dying process. It blindsides a lot of people. I watched it happen to my mother-in-law when my father-in -law was dying. The doctors were telling her right up to the last minute that he could still pull through, when it was clear he wasn't. It deprives people of the ability to properly prepare their soul.

Hard to believe that he resumed work. I see that he called the parish in Gaza, as he did at the beginning of his time in hospital. Maybe that's what they mean by work. Let's pray the Divine Mercy chaplet for Pope Francis (and for all the dying and those who will die suddenly and have no one to pray for them). Fr. I don't see the point in giving vigano the time of day of even reading his slander. He's excommunicated, hates the pope, and commits mortal.sin after mortal sin with his unsubstantiated slander, done with full malice intent. He's hateful and excommunicated. If anyone needs prayers of conversion it's Vigano.
We’ll simply agree to disagree. Yes, Vigano is imprudent and often uncharitable in the way he says what he says. But what he says is closer to the truth than any propaganda you may be imbibing from other sources. And an “excommunication” coming from a papal usurper must be worn as a badge of honor, if indeed Bergoglio was not validly elected.
The tragic situation in which we find the world, and the deterioration and moral decadence found within the Church over the last 6 decades, is irrefutable. Justice is important, but more so is the need for rank and file Catholics to embrace fully their spiritual inheritance. This requires every Catholic to commit to repent, to to choose the path less traveled. It requires perseverance in prayer and more frequent self-denial. I know this but still struggle to choose such a penitential path. Lord, we need abundant grace. Lord help me. I return to this clip now and then to grade my resolve to take up my Cross to follow Christ.
