Honestly, I no longer know what to believe. I only had doubts about Nick Donnelly’s source because, if I’m not mistaken, the last time Francis was hospitalized due to lung problems, he reported that the pope had suffered a heart attack. But since I don’t want to bear false witness, could someone help clarify if they remember anything similar???
Reports on Francis' condition are indeed confusing, but I suppose this is pretty typical for Italy. If he is terribly ill with pneumonia I wouldn't think he would be up to receiving a visit from the Prime Minister. Praying and waiting.
Apparently, yes. I imagine that if the Pope recovers from this, he will have to undergo a strict pulmonary physiotherapy routine, just like many COVID-19 patients did.
I heard a voice repeat over and over again, Two Popes, Two Popes, Two Popes. I believe that there is about to be a great schism.

Negri resigned as archbishop of Ferrara-Comacchio in February after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 75. In an article published Monday by news outlet Rimini 2.0, Archbishop Negri said that while he has little knowledge of the inner workings of the Curia, “I am certain that the truth will emerge one day showing grave liability both inside and outside the Vatican.” “It is no coincidence that in America, even on the basis of what has been published by Wikileaks, some Catholic groups have asked President Trump to open a commission of inquiry to investigate whether the administration of Barack Obama exerted pressure on Benedict,” he said. It remains shrouded in mystery for now, he said, “but I am sure that those responsible will be found out.” Concluding the point, he said that as he approaches his death the first question he will ask St. Peter will be “exactly about this issue.” In his February 11, 2013 speech where he announced his resignation, Pope Benedict XVI cited his deteriorating “strength of mind and body” leading to his “incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted” to him. He noted that he renounced the papacy with “full freedom” Nevertheless, the resignation, unprecedented in modern history, sent shockwaves throughout the world with a flurry of suggestions that Benedict was forced to resign. The concerns were reinforced by words that Benedict himself said at his own election to pontificate in 2005. At his first Mass as Pope, the Holy Father said, “Pray for me, that I may not flee for fear of the wolves.” Archbishop Negri was also asked about the dubia of the four Cardinals – Burke, Brandmuller, Caffarra and Meisner – who are seeking a clarification from Pope Francis on Amoris Laetitia. “Amoris Laetitia needs clarification, unfortunately, the current leader of the Church still remains silent,” he said. “I think that the Holy Father should respond, although he seems to have decided to the contrary.” “Unfortunately it has unleashed a real hysteria against these four cardinals who were all blamed,” the archbishop said. He called the suggestion of some to remove them from the College of Cardinals “disgusting.” Those who are normally papal critics, he said, “for a time have become hyper papists for their own ends,” he said.
This is very likely what happened. What type of pressure was exerted remains unknown at this point. One thing is for sure. The Catholic Church should be brought under control. Her voice should be silenced. Her leadership should toe the line and be completely aligned with the world. This is also completely aligned with prophecy. They couldn’t run the risk of having another Pope John Paul. A man who went before the United Nations and decidedly unambiguously denounced abortion and the culture of death. At the very beginning of his pontificate the current pope spoke before the United Nations and decidedly unambiguously denounced… the death penalty. Not a peep about abortion. Not a reference however vague or implied. This was met with thunderous applause. That was a very clear sign. But how many of us could read the signs at that early point?
What happens when someone loses their appetite? Is that fasting by default lol. I suppose it would have to be fasting of other things.
Amen!! A public apology would be good. We're all miserable sinners, we don't expect perfection, no one is perfect but we need a good example from our Pope & for him to guide us. Never in my lifetime will I think that if someone loves me & they don't want to protect my soul, that is real love. What if I end up in hell with eternal suffering? Plus, some things can be a mortal sin of omission. Our souls are the most serious business...
