For those who believe in the Garabandal apparitions, we come to a VERY significant situation with the death of Francis. On June 3 1963 following the death of Pope John XXIII, Conchita said that there would only be four more Popes before the 'end of times'. She later stated that Our Lady clarified that statement by saying that one Pope was to be omitted from the count because his reign would be very short (!). If this prophesy is true and we exclude JPI and treat Francis' election as valid. we have seen the last Pope. How this can be reconciled with the widely prophesied coming of an 'angelic Pope' reigning alongside a Great Catholic King, I cannot discern.
Well, everyone is going to interpret this different ways. I have my own way, but I don’t want to share that yet. However, the “end of times” (or more precisely, the end of the times) just means the Warning/Miracle. Who is to say that the next Pope won’t be the one to see the Warning/Miracle? And there could be still many Popes after that.
I count Peter the Roman from St Malachi's prediction as the angelic Pope... he will steer the ship as it is thrown around. It doesn't match Pope Francis.. just my opinion..
I think we are talking about the end of an era of time in Church history. There will be more popes, and I look forward to the angelic Pope, and the Great Catholic King.
So sorry to hear this. I will pray for some hope to come soon for you. As I too pray for the Pope's soul with the DM novena, I will include petitions for you.
Steve, I just saw this on another thread. https://www.garabandal.it/en/docume...hree-popes-and-the-end-of-times-in-garabandal
I think a couple of people want this thread closed and archived for history. Do you agree? I am happy to do so if this is the consensus.
Just had a strange thought after praying Bishop Athanasius Schneider's prayer----Pier Pizzaballo is made pope and takes the name Pius XIII. And he is the pope seen by St Pius X having to flee Rome over the bodies of his brethern. (" a future pope with my name")And being Peter ( Pier) he is also Peter the Roman. Thoughts running wild this morning.
If the conclave begins exactly 15 days after the pope's death—which is the minimum period allowed under current rules—voting could start on May 6, 2025, coinciding with the date of King Charles's coronation in 2023. With a divided College of Cardinals, it is likely that an agreement will emerge around a "conciliatory" candidate, and that the voting process will be more prolonged than in 2013. I believe in a scenario where between 6 and 9 ballots will be needed to elect the new pope, which would resolve the matter by May 8. This is because, on the first day, only the Missa pro Eligendo Pontifice and a single vote take place, while from the second day onward, there are four votes daily—two in the morning and two in the afternoon. I consider this scenario plausible, as it typically takes 5 or 6 days between a pope's election and his inaugural Mass, meaning the new pope could be "crowned" on May 13, the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, which would be a prophetic milestone in some way.

I think what you're saying is a conditional prophecy that, fortunately, is unlikely to come true. And all thanks to Pope Francis. Because thanks to Pope Francis's consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady, these bad events will likely be avoided. And after saying this, I feel sad to see that Pope Francis continues to be harshly criticized in this forum even after his death.
Come Holy Spirit come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary your dearly beloved spouse.
Pizzaballa is very interesting in that he is only 60 years old. I imagine if he becomes Pope there would be a good possibility he would have a long tenure. He is currently ranked 6th on polymarket. Not that I condone gambling on the next Pope, but post as an indicator of his popularity. https://polymarket.com/event/who-will-be-the-next-pope?tid=1745329610032
