    From Vox Cantoris blog:
"In another revelation of the sordid papacy of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, his personal secretary, Fabián Edgardo Marcelo Pedacchio Leániz is alleged to be a homosexual and pedophile. Gloria TV has received the information from a Twitter publication by a Permanent Deacon named Jorge Sonnante with provided documents.
There is more to come from Deacon Sonnante, whose name translates as "sound."
The rest is a disclosure of financial corruption between Bergoglio and Argentina."

The Argentinians, who are suffering financially at the moment, are not going to take kindly to the idea that corrupt funds stolen by Christina Kircher (ex-president and close friend of PF) ended up in the Vatican by way of Red Cross diplomatic bags. Is there no end to this stuff?

I'm so glad for this. I hope more bishops will follow suit.

US bishop tells parishes to recite St Michael prayer after every Mass in response to abuse crisis

BRIDGEPORT, August 31, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – A Connecticut bishop has directed all his priests to recite the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel after every Mass in response to the sex abuse crisis now roiling the Catholic Church.

Bishop Frank Caggiano of Bridgeport made the request effective September 15, the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, on which day he will lead a holy hour and Mass of Reparation along with all the priests in the diocese.

He asked that the St. Michael prayer be recited after every Mass beginning that day, and exhorted Catholics to “pray it personally as well.”

    Francis and the Journalists
    August 31, 2018 / by John Waters
When you read the pope’s response in light of what has happened—or not happened—in the several days since, it acquires an ominous tenor.
    https://www.firstthings.com/web-exclusives/2018/08/francis-and-the-journalists

"The pope replied: “I will respond to your question, but I would prefer last—first we speak about the trip, and then other topics. … I read the statement this morning, and I must tell you sincerely that, I must say this, to you and all those who are interested. Read the statement carefully and make your own judgment. I will not say a single word about this. I believe the statement speaks for itself. And you have the journalistic capacity to draw your own conclusions. It’s an act of faith. When some time passes and you have drawn your conclusions, I may speak. But, I would like your professional maturity to do the work for you. It will be good for you. That’s good.”

    ..............................

"And when you read the pope’s response again in light of what has happened—or not happened—in the several days since, it acquires an ominous tenor, inviting a stab at a new translation. Here is mine:

Read the statement in the knowledge of the relationship you and I share: We are men and women of the world and like-minded on what is important. We know where we stand on matters like homosexuality and homosexual priests. But be careful how you handle this Viganò business—a wrong word could undo all we have achieved. I have faith in you to figure out who this man is. Do your work well and there will be no need for me to risk my position. Once you have defused the situation, I will deal with Viganò for the record. We are all adults here. I know I can count on you. I need your help on this, but we have an understanding that has worked well so far. Trust me."

I sat on the fence a long time but now I'm convinced the 3rd secret was never fully revealed, the conscration of Russia wasn't done and the 3rd secret is about Satan entering the church to the top.

Or was the 3rd secret about plastic in the ocean? :D

Amazing to be living in these times.

The journalist selected to travel with him are 'yes' men and women. They aren't actually journalists but the press club for the Pope and Vatican. Using the term it's an act of faith is the worst part of his statement. He means an act of faith to/in him not in the truth. He also wants conclusions drawn without having to answer these vitally important questions.

I believe there has been consistent disinformation and deflection on this from the get-go. Cardinal Bertone does not come off very well here. I think we see now the horror of what Our Lady prophesied if her wishes were not met. We are living it. Satan is at home in the Vatican. Christ’s men must go into hiding for fear of their lives.

The above is a link to a very well-argued article "Truth and Lies in Pennsylvania".

I may have earlier over-reacted to the rumours about Cardinal Donal Wuerl and consequently his support from Bill Donahue (even though some of the latter's comments were very clumsy). We mustn't forget that the prosecutor here is no friend of the Church and it would be a terrible injustice to condemn someone who may only be guilty by association with others who are.

I recommend everyone following this issue read this article as the case for the defense for Cardinal Wuerl.

I totally understand that the Grand Jury report is secular in nature. I also understand that in the past, the hierarchy dealt with abuse victims and abusers differently than we would wish now.
But that doesn’t alter the conspiracy of silence over McCarrick and the homosexuals in seminaries and the Lavender Mafia. Cardinal Wuerl may only be guilty by association but I truly suspect the truth runs deeper than that.
Your point is well taken, though.

The war on Viganò has entered a new stage and the Catholic and secular media are defending child rapists

The Vatican's war to discredit and denigrate Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has gone into overdrive.

It is as far from Our Lord Jesus Christ as you can get.

Each one of them, Bergoglio, Spadaro, Rosica who brags that the Vatican has "begun a pushback," Paglia, Martin and their lay sycophants Faggioli, Ivereigh - all of them will be held accountable before God for the coverup and the way they have treated Viganò.

The secular and Catholic media have joined in the smear campaign. People such as Cindy Wooten, Sean Michael Winters, and others (name them in the combox and I will add here), have all lost their souls. They are not journalists, they are not looking for the truth. They are sycophants and by their actions, they are equally guilty in the cover-up.

They have turned this away from the truth, away from the victims.

    What happened to the truth?

Viganò has "sold himself for 30 pieces of silver" but McCarrick is a "tragic figure."

A tragic figure? The man is a sodomite, a pervert, a predator, a Judas priest. He is not a tragic figure

Pope Francis is a monster. He called out the rabid dogs on the aeroplane journey from Ireland. Don't you see it? Bergoglio cards not about you or me. He cares not about the victims. He has protected sodomites from the first of his pontificate. He is evil, a fraud, a filthy child pervert protector. He brought Danneels into his inner circle, promoted an active sodomite, Battista Ricca, kissed the hands of those promoting sodomy, brought back priests who were rapists, and cursed victims of clerical abuse.

How can these men not be beating their backs with whips and wearing hair-shirts over this calamity? These monsters have seized control of the Bride of Christ, they have set up a false religion and a perversion in the place of truth. These are not men of faith.

Where are the rest of the bishops and cardinals who know the truth? Will none who know come out and defend Viganò? Will none tell what they know? Are they all sodomites? Are they all blackmailed?

But as we heard in yesterday's Epistle for the XVth Sunday after Pentecost, "God is not mocked."

All of these will fall, There defence shows that they are actually in panic mode. They know that they have been found out. They will get mean, they will get violent and stop at nothing, but they will make mistakes.

These men are devils, every one of them.

    They will not win.

Ex-Vatican spokesmen challenge papal accuser over Davis meeting

ROME - Two former Vatican spokespersons have contested the latest claim from an ex-papal ambassador who initially accused Pope Francis of covering up sexual misconduct by former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, and who more recently charged him and his aides with misrepresenting a 2015 meeting with Kim Davis.

Fathers Federico Lombardi and Thomas Rosica have cast doubt on the claim by Italian Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò that the pope never personally reproached him about the meeting, and they’ve also insisted Viganò bears primary responsibility for not advising the pope adequately on how it would play out in terms of public reaction.

Last Thursday, Viganò released a statement in response to media reports suggesting Francis did not know anything about Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk briefly jailed for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses, when he granted her a brief private meeting during his trip to the United States in September 2015.

At the time, both Lombardi and Rosica styled the meeting as an initiative of Viganò, suggesting the pope didn’t really know who Davis was or what she had come to represent in American public opinion.

Viganò, however, insisted that he had personally presented the pope a one-page memo describing Davis, and also briefed two of his top aides.

After the pope returned to Rome, Viganò said he was summoned to the Vatican to see the pope and warned by Francis’s top aide that the pontiff was “furious.” Yet in their private meeting, he said, the pope did not mention Davis and was “very affectionate and paternal,” praising Viganò for the organization of the trip.

In a set of notes released late Sunday, Lombardi and Rosica challenge that claim, saying Viganò told them at the time that “the Holy Father in his paternal benevolence thanked me for his visit to the USA, but also said that I had deceived him by bringing that woman to the nunciature [papal embassy],” and added that the pope also said, “You never told me that she had four husbands.”

At the time of the visit to the United States, Lombardi was still the pope’s spokesman and Rosica was acting as an attaché to the Vatican Press Office. They said they met with Viganò at his Vatican apartment after his encounter with the pope.

More broadly, Lombardi and Rosica argue that even though Viganò supplied information to Francis and his aides, he failed to communicate fully the context of the meeting and what reaction it was likely to provoke.

“The fact that Viganò had spoken the night before the meeting with the pope and his collaborators, and received a consensus from them, did not detract from the responsibility of the initiative of the meeting with Kim Davis,” Lombardi said.

“The consequences were mainly [the responsibility] of Viganò himself, who had evidently desired and prepared them, and as nuncio should have known better.”

Viganò also said in his Thursday statement he had arranged with Davis that she would only make her encounter with the pope public after he was back in Rome. Lombardi questioned whether the pope or his aides knew that part of the deal.

“I wonder if this aspect … had been really discussed by Viganò with the pope’s collaborators, since this would have provoked many reactions,” Lombardi said.

“It seems to me only that the meeting had been planned as being a private one with the pope for a person who was presented to him as worthy of appreciation, even if there was much discussion about her,” he said.

I wonder how many Catholics in the pews each Sunday are aware of any of this or even care if they did.
