Please pray for the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. This coming Sunday, at 4pm (before the 4:30 Mass), they will be hosting a Cherokee "smudging rite" in the Upper Church, allegedly in honor of Bl. Junipero Serra. We need to pray that this pagan practice does not occur in a Catholic Church, especially in advance of the Papal visit. The last thing we need is an evil spirit entering in. Thank you.
Our Blessed Mother tells us through Sister Mildred Neuzil regarding the Shrine: "This is my shrine, my daughter. I am very pleased with it. Tell my children I thank them. Let them finish it quickly and make it a place of pilgrimage. It will be a place of wonders. I promise this. I will bless all those who either by prayers, labor, or material aid, help to erect. this shrine." (Oct. 13, 1956) Then in 1992 or 1993 Our Lady said: "My faithful ones, if my warnings are taken seriously and enough of my children strive constantly and faithfully to renew and reform themselves in their inward and outward lives then there will be no nuclear war." What happens to the world depends upon those who live in it. There must be much more good than evil prevailing in order to prevent the holocaust that is so near approaching. "Yet I tell you my daughter, even should such a destruction happen because there were not enough souls who took my warning seriously, there will remain a remnant - untouched by the chaos who, having been faithful in following me and spreading my warnings, will gradually inhabit the earth again with their dedicated and holy lives." "By the Holy and Immaculate Conception, O Mary, deliver us from evil." Are we taking the Blessed Mothers warnings seriously? Please do not reject Our Lady's warnings and messages to us. Pray for our Bishops to place the statue in the Shrine as Our Lady has requested! PLEASE pray the Holy rosary every day - as many Rosaries as possible - from the heart! And add the above prayer. Prayers for the Shrine. I am amazed they should be trying such a thing in a place like this, it would be under the special protection of Our Lady.
Instead of opening the doors to have the statue of Our Lady of America placed in the Shrine, they have opened the doors to a pagan ceremony. The head of the Shrine should be ashamed of himself! He has told several friends of mine that have visited the Shrine and asked why he would not allow the statue, he angrily replied that they have enough statues! Pray for hi m - he needs much prayer! We did manage to hide a photo of Our Lady of America in a safe place in the Shrine.
Unfortunately the Monseigneur is a very proud individual. He's very much in the "spirit of Vatican II" mold, and it says a lot that he would allow this but refuse to have the Latin Mass occur regularly.

The motto of Pope Pius X pontificate was, "instaurare omnia in Christo" Which means "Restoring all things in Christ." Note that he used the word "restoring" (to return to its original condition) and not the word "renewing" (to resume".) Pope St. Pious X pray for us!
