Praying... sometimes God likes to test to the limit.

May I humbly suggest:

Can you physically get to Lourdes or Medjugorje? In my experience these are among the most powerful spiritual/healing places in the world;

Amanda, I left v.6 untouched, because everyone of us are in the same boat- sinners in need of the mercy of Jesus. But His love is so deep and unshakable toward you. As Padraig, the founder of this Forum says: God is crazy about you.

And even though you are new here, we also love you as a sister and will be here when you need prayer and emotional support.

And remember, Jesus has given us all a Mother with a pure heart of love. Mary, take Amanda by the hand and lead her to still waters of refreshment. Jesus, may Your Mercy heal Amanda's heart!

Whenever you feel Under attack from anxiety or any of your conditions pray this. He will be with you. I promise. If you have sincerely called on His Name He is there. He has wanted to be there all the time. Get to Confession for sure. And of course Holy Communion. God bless!

Oh thank you, thank you thank you! That is so unbelievably kind of you and I appreciate this beyond words! I live in Canada but I am from Irish descent and have always wanted to visit that Shrine. I am so astonished at your kindness and the kindness of so many of the people on here, I feel like saying thank you isn't even close to enough! I will pray for you as well and thank God for all of you!

I have a family member that has faced a similar ordeal such as yours. I understand your helpless feeling and that feeling that you just cannot go on. But we must remember that God does things for a reason and most of the time we do not always understand. And that is okay.not to always understand. One thing that helped in our situation was to remember that the road to recovery can take time, sometimes it is 2 steps forward and one step backwards. But you must keep pulling yourself up just as Christ did when he fell three times while carrying his cross. Just because you fall sometimes, doesn't mean your losing the battle, it shows that you are still in the fight. I will be praying for you and your loved ones. It is okay to ask for help..never be afraid to ask.

Thank you so very much, your words brought tears to my eyes and a lot of comfort. I forget these things a lot, especially with trying to rebuild my faith. I won't forget what you said, it makes so much sense! I am also sorry that you have a family member going through this too. I will pray for you and them!

I also wanted to thank you deeply for the links you provided! I read the first one so far and it was EXACTLY the help I was searching and desperate for. My faith is extremely weak, but my faith in only humans and science to help me has grown even weaker after this experience. These links are incredibly helpful, thank you again!

Praying for you Amanda. I have found the Divine. Mercy chaplet to be very powerful when I have a crisis. Especially the little prayer Jesus I Trust in You.
