Firstly thank you all for the overwhelming compliments I am truly awestruck at such kindness.. To enlighten you all more at what can go on in the background and the kind of stuff I do and keep from the forum I reference the quote from Loulou I quoted above... You see there are very twisted people who are hell bent on discord and try their very best to cause trouble.. There are also people with what I would call mental illness.. They join forums and create multiple user names and pretend to be someone else just to agree and defend themselves... Very very sad...the list goes on and on and a lot of the other stuff you don't see would disturb and affect your souls I don't mention the stuff I keep an eye on and get rid off no big announcement or fan fare because I don't crave attention and prefer to be like St therese and stay quiet... I just do what I do and move on... To explain better the above posters first post on the forum "they joined on Thursday" was to jump to the defence of eta.. Then they immediately attacked my character it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out the rest enough said.. For info the new member and poster I quoted Loulou is now banned I don't need to explain why God bless all of you.. You are in my prayers
Wise move. I've formerly been involved at a science/astronomy board which went to ruin for Admin tolerating trolling. What had been a productive and interesting board, destroyed.
John I'm really sorry you have to put up with sich unpleasantness. I had no idea people could be so troublesome. Thank you for all the good work you do. I'm sure Padraig is very happy to have your assistance in running this forum. You have many commitments but you are appreciated for the great job you do. I'm reluctant to say yes in that you may feel pressured but it would be great if you can continue.

Yes! Many of us on this forum were on a simular forum years ago where Padraig was also a member. Forums can be attacked and it is a thankless job to moderate, but absolutely essential. Please stay unless your primary vocation is suffering because of the work or interactions here.
