German mystics: a vast field, but only living in my library, Meister Eckhart pointed too early especially with his contentious words about his experiences too far to the East to allow harvesting what was growing nearby ("grass always greener beyond the fence"). .. and long did it take to return. Contemporary apparitions: it seems that the German ground is not very fertile these times , let's hope that this is only as far as the more widely ones are concerned, the last being in Sievernich (listed by miracle hunter correctly, as always). I'm sure I will continue to enjoy reading, contemplating here in my "second home" plus having some perks being now a member.
I read Meister Ekard and also some of the Protestant mystics. ..as well of course I suppose most of the famous Catholic ones. I think the one who touched me most of the Catholics was a guy who is now almost unkown and who was a member of local German Parliament, a layman, I am going to see if I can find him. His book was just superb.
