Apart from a couple of soundbites on the abortion issue, he rarely makes a mistake in the direction of orthodoxy, which does not seem to suggest randomness.

I'm coming in a little late here, but I don't think you should separate, "'I am absolutely on the side of the pope, and the institution of the Papacy...' I would see the above as a declaration of the supremacy of the Office, not necessarily as agreement with the the occupier of the office. I must also admit how pleased I was to hear Mueller stand up for Cardinal Zen. Pope Francis, repent for your abandonment of Cardinal Zen!
To say, 'I support the Office of the Papacy', is not the same thing as saying, 'I support a particular Arch Heretic'. It reminds me of the German Chancellor Adolph Hitler during the course of the Second World War. As German Leader he might have had some moral authority at the start of his reign (especially as people did not know him as he really was). But as time went on it became clear enough he was an evil monster. It became clear that the German people owed him no support. However the Role or position of German Chancellor itself could remain unaffected. One could support the position of Chancellor but not Hitler himself. However Bergolio is a falling star.. Now he has entered into one formal heresy he will enter into many others. Watch and see. Good can not be yoked with evil as St Paul informs us. The position will become increasingly clear as time rolls onwards... But in conscience from hence onwards I will refer to the Arch Heretic, the Monster who happens to live in a Luxury Hotel in the Vatican as , 'Bergolio'.
As I said on the other thread, When the pope’s actions and words go against both orthodoxy and orthopraxis it is both our right AND our duty to point it out, if only for the edification of our brethren and to protect them from being lead into perdition. The idea this pope is beyond rational and prudent criticism by anyone except the hierarchy is preposterous. It is an error.

Brian, I am not sure if this lines up with what Desmond Birch says. Desmond appeared in a video within the last six months on Fr Heilman’s show. He said the Great Apostasy wasn’t happening now. It would happen before the final conflict before Christ’s Final Judgment. That would be the time of the Antichrist (just prior to that.) This article about Tyconius seems to me to be on the wrong timeline for what is happening now. Imho completely wrong. I also think the authorship of the article is hidden. Why? A Marian Soul? In another place I saw authorship by “a scholar”. Imho the timeline is off, but I am open to clarification.
