I watched the World Over a little when I got home from work this morning with a real delight. It is so rare to find Catholic Commentators talking so openly and honestly about what is going on i n the Church. Thank God for EWTN. At the same time I am saddened and puzzled by the reactions of so many in the Church even those who do speak out on what is going down. Imagine a family whose kind , dear, rather lovable grandfather who had just been arrested for being a Serial Killer going back going back several decades. As a visitor to the family home the topic of the grandfather is , rather reluctantly brought up. You are nonplussed to learn that the grandfather has been confused for some time and been led astray by nameless friends and strangers. The grandfather, despite having killed multiple others has gotten himself merely into a , 'Little Trouble'. They hope with a little explanation he will be released by the police soon enough. The grandfather is basically a very good person, a daily mass goer and if he did kill other people they much have done something to annoy him. They are bring him up home fried chicken to cheer him and they wish people would stop saying such nasty things about him on the media etc etc etc. Scripture shows us that idol worship is Demon worship. Pope Francis by worshiping idols worshipped demons. He is Apostate. He is Satanic.Worse by doing so as Head of the Church he does so on our behalf, so as we share in his guilt we will share in his Chastisement. This is a total and absolute Catastrophe for the Church, the worst in its entire 2,000 years history. It makes Judas Iscariot look like a boy scout. The first step towards recovery is being open and honest about what has happened and leaving a state of denial far, far behind. Bring fried chicken up to serial killer grand pappy in the police station isn't going to cut it. Time to get real. Time to get beyond the Fried Chicken Stage of things. Fried Chicken won't cut it.
This catastrophe is of epic proportions. It is safe for me to approach my pastor who is quite orthodox. The question needs to be addressed to all ordained and it needs now to be stripped of all vagueness. We have a new bishop in our diocese who is young, energetic, and expending much time to meet Catholics in their varied ministerial and parochial settings. This is wonderful. But where do he and other clergy stand on this black and white issue of idols. There must be no beating around the bush. For if they agree with syncretism, all the other questions pale in comparison. Our Beloved Church has been poisoned and only Christ is the answer! I am scared because as a deacon I can experience ramifications for even broaching such a topic. But it must not be swept under the rug. I must lovingly push for clarity for this rebellion against Christ is clearly out in the open for all to see. Give me courage and wisdom, Lord. I will firstly challenge my sons, my spiritual director, and brother deacons with whom I was ordained. St. Athanasius, pray for me! O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

Yes Terry, we have crossed a line here. To say well Pope Francis wasn't too good with the Idol Worship thing, but he's good on the poor and has a Great Devotion to Our Lady and seems an all round nice guy otherwise just won't cut it. This is a complete game changer. I have to say Bishops who don't speak will be getting sent straight to hell when hey die for this. Silence equals consent in this case. The only way they won't be getting sent to hell is if they do a complete 180 Degree uturn on all this. That they use an electro microscope to find their back bones and use them. Thanks Mario, for your reassurance and placing things in perspective, the symbolism behind the earth/plant offering upon the altar, the idea of Mother Earth, troubled me. Also the Pachamama idols are pagan, thinking it is the Virgin Mary is syncretism, isn't it?

One thing about the Germans. There doesn't seem to be much of a middle-ground. Most German bishops sadly seem to be heretical or apostate. However, the faithful ones stand up, don't they? Benedict, Muller, Brandmuller, Voderholzer and there are some others-not one bit afraid to speak up. God bless 'em. Probably why some of the best things and some of the worst things have come out of Germany over the centuries.
