Our Lady has asked me to remind you that the devil's first enemies are those who have a Devotion to Our Blessed Mother. All his powers and all the powers of hell are bent in the very first place to oppose those who kneel at her feet. Onward. —Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace to Pedro, in São José do Rio Preto, August 20, 2017 THE SMOLDERING CANDLE Ten years ago, I had a powerful interior vision that—as I read the words above—seems to be on the verge of being fulfilled: I saw the world gathered as though in a dark room. In the center is a burning candle. It is very short, the wax nearly all melted. The Flame represents the light of Christ: Truth. The wax represents the time of grace we live in. The world for the most part is ignoring this Flame. But for those who are not, those who are gazing at the Light and letting It guide them, something wonderful and hidden is happening: their inner being is secretly being set aflame. There is rapidly coming a time when this period of grace will no longer be able to support the wick (civilization) due to the sin of the world. Events which are coming will collapse the candle completely, and the Light of this candle will be snuffed out. There will be sudden chaos in the “room.” He takes understanding from the leaders of the land, till they grope in the darkness without light; he makes them stagger like drunken men. (Job 12:25) The deprivation of Light will lead to great confusion and fear. But those who had been absorbing the Light in this time of preparation we are now in will have an inner Light by which to guide them (for the Light can never be extinguished). Even though they will be experiencing the darkness around them, the inner Light of Jesus will be shining brightly within, supernaturally directing them from the hidden place of the heart. Then this vision had a disturbing scene. There was a light in the distance… a very small light. It was unnatural, like a small fluorescent light. Suddenly, most in the room stampeded towards this light, the only light they could see. For them it was hope… but it was a false, deceptive light. It did not offer Warmth, nor Fire, nor Salvation—that Flame which they had already refused. The message is that, as the Light of Truth fades in the world, this Light will continue to grow in intensity and power in the hiddenness of the hearts of those who have entered into the Ark of Our Lady, and thus, the heart of God. The fruit of this will be joy! Yes, these souls will become signs of contradiction to the world. For as nations will shudder in terror, there will be a calm, peace, and joy emanating like the Sun from the hearts of those who have resisted the temptations of our times, emptied themselves of this world, and opened their hearts to Jesus. This is a good reminder Padraig. It calls to mind Fsther Gobbi's words many years ago when I went to hear him speak. He said Our Lady told him the time was coming when every--every institution would fail and the only safe refuge would be in her Immaculate Heart and that she would keep us there "as in an enclosed garden." I have thought for a long time that she is the new Noah's Ark as well as the new Ark of the Covenant.
Indeed, I am convinced of it AED. Our Lady is the Arc and is with Our Lord. It is why I have become very leery of anyone who insults or degrades Her in any way. I have little charity for anyone who does this, especially now in these times.
padraig, your post is very timely, I have had two days of very intense spiritual anguish and mental attacks in which I have thrown myself at the feet of Our Lady. Today it was so horrible I begged Our Lord and my Angel to defend me. It immediately ceased and was as if a fog had been lifted from me. Thank God.
Don--praise God you got relief from the powerful help of Our Lady. She has never failed me either just like the beautiful "Memorare". Never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection...
