I recently felt an urge to do a novena to Our Lady, Untier of Knots, so I asked our Lady to give me a sign if she wanted me to do a novena to her in this title. I turned on the computer and went to a friend's site and right at the top of her page was a novena to Our Lady, Untier of Knots. So, I got my answer and now a week and a half later, I'm finally doing it. If I post it, I must do it, right? This is a simple one for anyone interested. Pray to the Virgin Mary Untier of Knots´ Holy Mary, full of the presence of God, during your life you accepted with great humility the holy will of the Father and the legacy of your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, and evil never dared to entangle you with its confusion. Since then you have interceded for all of our difficulties as you did at the wedding feast of Cana. With all simplicity and with patience, you have given us an example of how to untangle the knots in our complicated lives. By being our mother forever you arrange and make clear the path that unites us to Our Lord. Holy Mary, Mother of God and ours, with your maternal heart, untie the knots that upset our lives. We ask you to receive into your hands (here mention your prayer request) and deliver us from the chains and confusion that restrain us. Blessed Virgin Mary, through your grace, your intercession and by your example, deliver us from evil, and untie the knots that keep us from being united to God. Hope, I think this is exactly what I need to do too! My life is so knotted up right now in almost every aspect of it. A lot of confusion and uncertainty about matters of love and vocation and other things too. Hope, it sounds like you get a lot of very good signs from God when you need answers. Please continue to tell us about them! I guess this time you were my sign.
I have heard that this is a very powerful novena. My sister did it recently after hearing of someone who was finally relieved of a painful "knot" in their shoulder muscle, so I guess it's good for literal knots as well as the more figurative kind! I've also heard the title as "undoer" of knots, which I think I prefer as it makes me think of the enemy being "undone" by Our Lady.
