...living lives personally compromised... I couldn't agree with you more. It's all around us every day, in every way. No one can critisise any "lifestyle choice" because they are compromised and want to justify their own poor choices. Only God can justify us, but so few put their trust in him. It is so sad to see people identify themselves by their sinful behaviour. Lord have mercy on us all.
This video is deceptive. It really puts into doubt Benedict's abdication. I don't buy it. This is a popular priest who gives this speech. I'd throw this one in the can. There is absolutely no doubt that Francis is the Pope. Priest says, it looks like possibly 'negotiations were made before he resigned..." Bah!

I apologize. I just finished it. He was being fasicious and repeating what media and sedevacanist's were spouting....its a good thing that he finished with his speech by saying what he did about Francis. I was worried there....Thanks for posting it...
You had me worried for a minute. I listened to it a while ago and I had remember it ended on a strong anti-schism pro Pope Francis note. But them when you said it was deceptive I thought "Uh oh, maybe I posted the wrong video". Yes, he goes through all of the arguments first about why some people think Benedict may still be Pope, then he squashes them at the end.
I wasn't sure wether or not to share this, but now I guess I will. I had grave doubts about Pope Francis, In prayer a few months back in prayer I felt led by Our LAdy to suppor the Pope as much as I good as our SPiritual Father and this I did. But still the doubts lingered. However in prayer a few nights ago Our Lady showed me the Pope in the Vatican. There is no doubt at all in my mind he is a great saint. But there is a fly in the ointment , he is surrounded by enemies on every side and is suffering greatly, in fact I would say he is n torment. A short while before Poep Benedict crying after a priest in his office handed him a piece of parer and he read it. You can choose your friends , but you cannot chose your enemies. I would say Pope Francis is nailed to the Cross. This isn't his fault , its just the way it is. If we were in his place they'd nail us down too. They have their ways. if you stand back and look at a lot of things that are going on at the minute, especially as regards the Synod I think you'll see things in a new light and understand them better. But anyway it's not the Popes fault. We need to pray very,very much for the poor man. The Vatican is brim full of wicked shysters.
None of us should be defined by either our sins or our struggles. I have huge sympathy for the struggles you've endured in this matter Padraig. This is our Passion. Every good person of faith that i know, is being tried at the moment. Our personal and individual vulnerabilities are being tested. Job is our man for these times. and maybe Pope Francis is being misquoted when he's on about employment justice, mabye he's saying we should all have a Job not a job!

Our Holy Father has mentioned a few time about His possible early death. People have also mentioned He is not as healthy as one sees. Also, His constant work ethic to even cancel His vacations shows the urgency of His message. The Holy Father has the burden of all our souls...what stress He must have. But most importantly...He has read all the messages of confirmed visionaries and saints. Also, the secrets that have been stored in the Vatican are at His disposal. And, we might not know it, but there is probably a few mystical souls alive today that are quietly sending messages. "Life is in God's hands. I have said to the Lord, 'You take care of me. But if it is your will that I die or something happens to me, I ask you only one favor: that it doesn't hurt. Because I am a real wimp when it comes to physical pain,'" Papa Francis Brother al Padraig...i think you are right but Our Holy Father understands the big picture. That is why He is always telling everyone to pray for Him.
All is based on love. Pray and discern through these times ahead. I am with you Padraig and in reading your thoughts and concerns for this "Mother of God" site and seeing the love displayed by the Holy Father, the first thing that came to my heart was AMEN!
I am not a new mass hater, but to say that the new mass was needed to evangelize the world is not a true statement. Massive parts of the world were evangelized using the old mass. Even entire continents.
Things are not always as they seem on the surface. There is a truly massive SPiritual War going on all around us. People ,even now are increasingly choosing sides, for God or the devil. This will increase. We need to put our Spiritual Seat Belts on, we just about to hit a few massive jolts. Epsecially within the Church. Our Faith will be severely tried. Outrageous....: In the elections when the current guy in the White House was chosen, one of the EWTN personalities said more than half the USCCB voted for him. He was a known pro-abort! God help us!
