I was unable to make the Mass even though I had hoped but in the end many family related issues kept me home. I am going to Knock though for the consecration. Im really looking forward to that. I was shocked to hear Sr Melina has died. I have often visited her beautiful chaple and community. I was aware she was ill some years ago and that she was receiving some treatment when I last met her but didnt know she had died. When did it happen?. She was such a beautiful soul.God rest her.

The priest who said the mass was the one who did my father's funeral.:)

A nice touch, Padraig! The Lord loves to weave His Tapestry! :) This Holy Mass will not be swallowed up in obscurity; The Sacred Heart will work wonders through it and establish it as a launch pad for the defeat of JoeJerk's schemes in Erin.

Safe in the Flames of the Sacred Heart!

I think the course of the pro-life cause in the USA was and is an inspiration , Terry. It may be to this and this alone that will save the USA from the worst of what will visit Europe. :)

That would be Fr Martin Graham.. I have known him since he first became a priest in St Paul's quite a few years back, he is a personal friend. he also celebrates a Latin mass on a Sunday afternoon once a month in St Paul's,,he is such a special Priest

so true mario,,if you remember this http://motheofgod.com/threads/my-little-chapel.4650/

I now have an altar for my little chapel and it was a lovely surprise to see that my wife brought the Sacred Heart statue that I have been working on to the mass,, so I now have a blessed Sacred Heart statue as well..:) just need to dig out about 3 tonne of earth by hand :eek:o_O

Beautiful job on the statue, John! It reminds me of the hidden carvings done by peasant saints on the European cathedrals of old. Artists back then carved and shaped for the glory of God, working in churches that would take several generations to complete!:) Hidden, but all for the glory of God!:ROFLMAO:

Saint Joseph and all your apprentices throughout the ages, pray for us!

    Gorgeous pictures of the Mass!

Well, I arrived in Medjugorje on Sunday evening and the temperatures were cruel all week. On Tuesday morning I decided I would go and find the Heart of Mary chapel, I found it easily. Unfortunately it was locked, as were the gates of the adjoining building which I assume is the convent. I hung around the gates for a while hoping someone would come out but no one did. So I started taking pictures:

For some reason, I just loved this rustic looking little holy water font:

Then I looked hopefully at the convent again. The gates were locked and no one was coming out of the building. I had a rose with me, also a page printed out with the directions you gave me. I decided all I could do was fold the page and put it into the cellophane beside the rose, hopefully if someone came out and looked at the rose, they would see who it was from.
