I wonder in such a situation would Christian, Protestant and Catholic, soldiers obey orders to arrest a priest?
This is why I'm praying for law enforcement personnel. They will have to decide who they serve, and assume the consequences, before the rest of us.

As the stench of " Communism" becomes more prevalent in our society, the "Church " will be seen as " an enemy of the State",and stricter "temporary laws" like Martial Law, will be utilized the control the " religious zealots ", in the name of " National Security".
The choice we may all of us have to make may not seem straightforward. For instance will be tempted to make evil choices to protect our wives, husbands, children, because we have to obey orders or the laws of our country. At the end of the Second World War German War criminals who were put on trial at Nuremberg pleaded that they were only obeying the laws of their superiors , the laws of their country. But the judges said there was a higher law, 'A Natural Law' , which instinctively shows all men what is right and what is wrong. Ironically secularists like President Obama and all Western Leaders would probably baulk nowadays at the very idea of a , 'Natural Law' , the only law we are supposed now to obey are the ones these people dream up. So the War Criminals at the end of the Trials were hung for not obeying Natural Law, for not following their consciences. That's all God is asking us to do, to obey Natural Law , to follow our consciences. I read a wonderful account one time about a Japanese solder, a Catholic at a prisoner of war camp. The prisoners were starving and he brought them food and was executed for being a traitor. He disobeyed the laws of his country but obeyed the Natural Law, the voice of Conscience of Grace as did St Thomas Moore.
