I believe from my own dreams and prayers that nuclear weapons will be used, especially in Eastern Europe. I believe that this is why Our Lady was sent by God to Medugorje and come there under the title of 'Queen of Peace'. But I think there is a mystery to this. After nuclear weapons are used there is radioactive fall out. This fall out particularly effects the young in the womb. I think in order to heal this we may very well expect a direct intervention from God to heal this and stop its impact. I know this is very,very speculative but I hope and pray this will happen....that God will directly intervene and save us from ourselves. Even so I believe there will be some nuclear weapons used. The BBC say if Iran goes ahead they will produce 300 times more uranium than they are at present. I cannot see Israel not attacking Iran if this is true. The world seems to be turning into a bush fire, ready to start. But there is a God in heaven and we need His help.

If my memory serves me correctly Our Lady said in Garabandal that there would not be a 3rd world war, but God would intervene in the world and that the chastisment would be sent to punish the world before any war. Therefore I think that things must be very very close when a 3rd World war is peering over the horizon. Mary
I also do not think there will or could be a Third World War as that would mean the World would be destoryed. However at Akita, Our Lady spoke of fire descending from heaven and at Fatima that certain nations would be annihilated if there was no conversion. Our Lady said that at Fatima if the world did not convert a more terrible war would break out and that was known as WW2. Technically neither the first nor second wars were world wars as lots of nations did not take part. People at the time called the first war the 'Great War' and the 'War to end all Wars' but as man did not repent then a second war came. The world is much more evil and sinful now than it was in 1939 when the 2nd world War broke out so I have no doubt that war is on the horizon and we will see an even worse war involving nuclear weapons. However, there is also prophecised a serious punishment sent from heaven for the sins of man. which might possibly be the 'three days darkness' but this will come after the wars and will be at the end of the tribulations. I suspect it could last for several centuries. Our Lady has said at Medjugorje that these are her last apparitions on earth that after the secrets are fulfilled there will be no need for her to appear on earth, which suggets a long era of peace. Timescale? I guess I will be an old man [if God spares me!] when the 3 days of darkness comes at the end of the Lesser Tribulation [provided of course I don't get the chop!]. But I have been led to pray for my children [20, 19 and 11] for their protection during the tribulations and also for my grand-children that are to come. They will live in an era of peace. I have told ny 11 year old that he has been blessed to go to Medjugorje for when he is an old man people will ask him about his experiences there. I think the Medjugorje events/secrets will rank as one of the great salvific events in history up there with the Old Testament events of Moses and the liberation of Israel. Just as Moses informed the Pharaoh of the 10 plagues that would strike the Egyptians if he did not let the Hebrews go free so at Medjugorje God through the seers will inform this godless era of the Ten secrets admonishments/warnings that will be-fall them because of their hardened hearts. Each secret will be revealed 3 days in advance and announced to the world - where, what and how long each secret will last. All secrets are on a parchment that came from heaven [the Tilma of Guadalupe is an image from heaven on an earthly cloth]. This parchment I think will survive and be revered by future generations. Why did our Lady give Mirjana the parchment? Mirjana has told us that she had a problem remembering 'all those dates'. In other words there is a chronological sequence and there are more than several dates. The parchment is God's unique timetable and nothing can stop it. The world will take notice of the first secret by the 3rd and 4th secrets the Godless will be in fear for they will know that there is a God whom they have offended by their iniquities. When the final secret is released the world will be in awe of the mighty hand of God. Like Pharaoh they will have to acknowledge that there is no God like unto Yahweh! The present age of disobedience will have been transformed into an age of obedience. Jesus warned us to 'watch for the signs of the times' Our Lady at Medjugorje has said 'Look all around you at the signs of the times' These are serious times and souls are at stake. I was reading the start of Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation just before mass yesterday, the chapter that some say relates to the present day. It seems to me to point out particularly evil nations and powers that would be under the full force of the power of the devil. It seems to me North Korea and China might be good candidates. I think the Church is increasingly saying that such things are evil. For instance Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI, told the Italian Catholic magazine 30 Days in April 2003 that "we must begin asking ourselves whether as things stand, with new weapons that cause destruction that goes well beyond the groups involved in the fight, it is still licit to allow that a 'just war' might exist." In his 2006 World Day of Peace Message, Pope Benedict XVI wrote: “What can be said … about those governments which count on nuclear arms as a means of ensuring the security of their countries? Along with countless persons of good will, one can state that this point of view is not only baneful but also completely fallacious. In a nuclear war there would be no victors, only victims.” I can only say my own conscience would not let me have anything to do with such things, I would be too afraid of going to hell. There is always, I think a good reason for doing an evil thing and evil reason for doing a good thing.In a nuclear blast we would only burn for a brief while. but in hell we will burn for all eternity. How when we die and face the Judgement Seat of the God of Love, Our Father, might we explain that we had given any kind of assent to the burning to death of millions of His children? It seems to me that it is all about love or it is all about nothing. If we love all men how can we wish to burn them? Still I know the Church accepts the principle of Deterrence, but I can only speak for my own conscience
The darkness continues to deepen all around us and the apostacy has grown at such an alarming rate that it may well be a candidate for the Great Apostacy predicted in Holy Scriptures. I am very concerned about our young people - many are lost in the darkness of sinful secular society. There is a lost generation to the Gospel and Europe is in real darkness. Only the light of God can penetrate such darkness. I never in my wildest imagination could believe that things could get so bad, so sinful in such a short space of time that is over my lifetime. My heart really goes out to the young people who are victims of a sinful secular society. The light of faith is definitely being extinguished in Europe. I think the only way forward now is for Christians to join together and form Christian communities with Christian values and ethos to allow the kids to breathe in the power of the Holy Spirit.

If you type the visionaries name [Duke Puntalangit] into Google there are only 2 hits which makes me suspicious. I would expect to get more returns for his name.
