I don't know too much about Fr Gruner but the letter is interesting - I am not sure about all the conspiracy theories about the 3rd secret but I have always felt that it was possible to have another go at consecrating Russia more 'fully' to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by naming her specifically. Perhaps, this might happen on 13 May, and perhaps Lucia will be beatified. 13 May is a significant date and we may not have the Great Miracle of Garabandal that day but perhaps some other great blessing for the Church and the World. It is significant, I think, that the Pope is in Fatima on 13 May 2010. I suspect though that Fr Gruner would not be a supporter of either Garabandal or Medjugorje.

Hmm, that's interesting. I wouldn't take that as he would not support Medugorje or Garabandal but I can understand that view. Fatima was the only one where the promise of peace would be fulfilled if the one requirement was met, that being the consecration of Russia.. The others didn't have that condition.
Padraig, I love your comments regarding prophecy of the future. I am with you 100%. If dwelling on such things destroys your peace, you need to let go of it for a while. Lately, I have been trying to focus more on Scripture. There is plenty there for us to contemplate regarding the state of our times. Regarding Fr. Gruner, I must say that there is much of what he says that strikes a chord with me, but I have researched him and discovered that he is not a priest in good standing. Can anyone speak to this? Obedience to Church authority is one of the telltale signs of authenticity.
I believe Fr Gruner has been maligned because of his uncomprimising stand on the Fatima consecration. I was not sure about him until I read 'The Fourth Secret of Fatima' by the Italian journalist A Socci. After reading that book I must ay That I agree with Fr Gruner that the consecration of Russia is still outstanding and the era of peace will not come until Russia is converted. Its rather strange that Fr Gruner's crime is that he refuses to believe that the consecration has been completed as requested and also that the full 3rd secret has not been revealed. There are so many priests in good standing that are preaching heresy from the altars. God bless Mary
Mary, I agree with you. I just received the book THE FOURTH SECRET OF FATIMA, but have yet to complete it. Through a quirky event about a year ago, I was given to read a tiny little pamphlet on Fatima, the consecration to Russia, and how it had not been done yet and it struck a cord deep inside. I was terribly confused as to what had really happened. Yesterday when I read about Fr. Gruner and all the missed opportunities for the consecration to be done, how our precious priests have been maligned, led astray, I sat at my computer and cried at the thought of how saddened Our Blessed Mother must be. This trip the Holy Father is making in a few weeks to Fatima may bring some surprise to the situation.
maryrose, As I stated in a previous thread, I believe the assessment that concludes the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart remains unfilled is correct. However, I would be surprised if our Pope chooses to do the consecration at Fatima; I have not heard of any request to the bishops to join him. Perhaps, as this current attack on him intensifies, Pope Benedict may publicly turn to Our Lady to beg God to act supernaturally. It does seem that this particular consecration is a necessary prelude to Mary's triumph. Let us continue to bathe him in prayer! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
hello everyone , its norman again, in regards the miracle of garabandal which i was shown a preview of in year 1998, a cross was shown to me [ golden type of cross] this was positioned to the left of the pine trees, this was the cross to the left hand side of the pines, it was above this cross , which the bright light circular light which came down from the sky , stopped immeadiatly above the cross , as it did so, it immeadiatly then changed into the eucharist, and yellow rays of light came from it , and went first to joey lomangino then made its way to everyone present [ millions of people present ] healling them all, who were present, this vision was given to me like a dream, during the night in year 1998, i feel that the cross was shown to me in a golden colour 1. so that it stood out and was easily identifiable , when being shown the vision,2. the positioning to the left of the pines,when the miracle took place, padraig, when i wrote about the miracle a few dAYS AGO, I SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT IN YEAR 2002 WHEN I WENT TO GARABANDAL , THEIR ARE TWO CROSSES NEAR THE PINES, A CROSS IS placed, to the left of the pines, and another cross is placed to the right hand side of the pines, at the cross to the left hand side that is were the miracle will take place , i assume the permanent sign will be at the cross to the right hand side of the pines, padraig, it would be of interest to me , if any of your readers can tell me , i would like to know , when i received the preview of the miracle in year 1998 , were those crosses placed either side of the pines at that time in year 1998,god bless you all ,
I long for the day of the Miracle, which will be day of joy and rejoicing, healing and salvation. Norman, the Garabandal messages focused so much on priesthood/Eucharist that it would be no surprise that the Miracle will be centred around the Eucharist and your dream was so, so powerful. Did you draw pictures of the dreams? I will do a bit of research to see when those crosses were put up. I know the Pines were planted by Conchita's grandfather to commemorate Holy Communions for the young people and this was Providential. When Joey had his dream of Garabandal in 1949 [12 years before the apparitions!] the Pine trees were behind him and he was looking up into the sky. He said he had blue eyes. Isn't that beautiful because his eyes were severly damaged in the accident so it really seems that he will be given 'new' eyes. Watching the video of Joey the other night really touched my soul and uplifted me to see a man of faith full of love and hope and he was funny as well. He had a lovely relationship with Padre Pio. The first time he went to Padre Pio he was in a long queue at the end and everyone else kneeled but of course Joey, he being blind, was standing and Father Pio came along and held his face and said 'Joey, it's so nice to see you', but Joey wasnt sure who it was but his uncle standing beside him told him it was Padre Pio. Joey was in shock wondering how Padre Pio knew his name because the room had been silent as Padre Pio walked along blessing everyone. But later Joey would uderstand that this was no 'ordinary priest' - when he went to confessions Joey was so overwhelmed because it was an open confessional which he wasn't used to and Padre Pio held his hand! But Father Pio made his confession for him 'Joey, do you remember when you were in a bar with a woman called Barbara and the sins you committed'? Yes said Joey and then Padre Pio listed all his sins, where, when and who with! At the end Padre Pio asked Joey 'are you sorry for your sins' and Joey replied Yes and got a little smack on the cheek. Then Padre Pio held up his stigmatised hand for Joey to kiss and Joey was overwhlemed with graces - he had made a firm purpose of amendment and was completely converted and from that moment he became a daily communicant. Joey wasnt' sure if he should go to Garabandal because he was afraid of losing the graces he had gained because he wasn't sure if Garabandal was a true place of apparition so he consulted with Padre Pio and asked him directly is it true our Lady is appearing at Garabandal and Padre Pio replied yes. And so began Joey's life long connection to Garabandal -----
Regarding the Miracle, Conchita said that one day, a little before the miracle, something would happen that would cause many to disbelieve in the apparitions of Garabandal. She said that this would not be caused by an excessive delay of the Miracle.
hello garabandal , my reply to your question , did you do drawings , yes ,all the visions i have received all have drawings and full in depth write ups , when i was given the vision of the miracle of garabandal , during a dream , i then woke up shortly afterwards, i then drew what i had just been shown, and then wrote about it as well,i took my files with me of visions , when i went to garabandal in year 2002, at the aiport in england i showed them to a priest [ fr. browne] and to the organizer of the pilgrimage des moynihan, and many others also whilst waiting at the airport, des moynihan couldnt understand why their was only three visionaries alongside joey lomangino , and others couldnt also , but sadly marie lollie passed away not so long ago, so this only three visionaries confirms what was given to me in 1998, when i saw just three alongside joey , at the time of the miracle, also on that very same pilgrimage in year 2002, another confirmation took place in the run up to being shown the miracle , i was shown a chineese lad in a dream just before being shown the miracle, this in year 1998, the lad chineese lad was sat next to a man on a coach, i was then given another vision of the chineese lad alone , he was sat down on the edge of a bed, these visions which happened in 1998, were confirmed on the pilgrimage to garabandal in 2002, the chineese lads first name is joseph [ hes known to des moynihan ] they were sat next to each other in the vision on the coach in year 1998, on the coach to garabandal from bilbao airport in 2002, they were sat next to each other on the coach , and i was sat on the seat in front of them, the other vision of joseph sat on the edge of a bed , when we arrived at garabandal [hotel garabandal] and checked in the rooms, it was then that i found out that i was sharing a room with this same lad , who was sat on the coach with des moynihan earlier, the day before we left garabandal and headed for home , i took a photograph of joseph [chineese lad ] in the room we shared, when i took the photograph of joseph , he was sat down on the edge of his bed in the room i shared with him , yet this very same image [a vision of ] was first given to me before , in year 1998, when i had never known him then or seen him before, think about what ive just mentioned , and compare it , alongside the forthcoming warning experience, again first mentioned in garabandal , when we will all be shown , with our very own eyes [like a film rolling before our very own eyes] the very state of our own souls , we shall see like on a television screen, our sins, so that we will feel the full remorse of what we have commited in our lives, its just like we all have a video recorder built inside of all of us [ which is our souls which god created for each and every one of us] as a link between us and our creator, soon [ i can feel it fast approaching] god will switch on that video recorder which is inside of us , our souls, and we shall all see with our very own eyes, as god sees us, isnt this the very reason that we should be in a state of grace , before receiving him at the warning, just like at daily mass , before we receive the eucharist, we should be in a state of grace, for as we are receiving the eucharist then, at garabandal the peope will receive the eucharist when being healled, and the link between the warning and the miracle , is the very same , we are receiving jesus, and out of jesus only comes love , be joyous one and all , jesus is with us , in us , prepare for the coming of our lord jesus christ , our saviour.
It's a small world Norman as the DVD I was watching of Joey Lomangino I purchased from Des Monaghan last Friday in his home in Middletown, County Armagh on my way to a neice's confirmation in Fermanagh [in fact he has a special pack of 25 Garabandal DVD's which I purchased]. Des has been to Garabandal many times and is a great promoter of the apparitions. The Garabandal apparitions never quite took hold the way that Medjugorje has today and in some ways it is like a 'lost Marian apparition'. The death of Mari Loli [who knew the year of the Warning] was not expected [although she had been ill] and it is possible that this has reduced belief in the apparitions even further. I think even Joey Lomangino must be wondering. In his talk on Garabandal in Ireland in 1988 he joked that if God didn't cure him soon he would need glasses when he got his new eyes. Also Joey has wound down his Garabandal activities and is in semi-retirement, suffered a heart attack in the late 90's and I think even his wife doubts the apparitions sometimes. Conchita [Gonzales] is a mother and grandmother and rarely speaks of Garabandal and lives a simple [but I believe] profoudly holy life of interior silence and renunciation & the other seers are equally as quiet. I think they suffer from an interior 'amnesia' and they forget a lot of the detail of the apparitions and they seem somewhat to have been like a distant dream. But this was prophecised and it really is the most 'silent apparition' of the 20th century and little known by most Catholics. There are a few Garabandal centres keeping it alive, including Des Monaghan who joked with me that I was one of the few 'who still believed in the miracles' of Garabandal. Norman - were you shown a vision of the warning that you describe above? It is great that you have recorded your visions in drawing & word because these can be verified when they happen like the Chinese lad called Joseph. And it is also a powerful vision that showed 3 seers with Joey rather than 4. Perhaps, the death of Mari Loli was the event that causes so many to disbelive in the period before the Miracle but also as Sean has recounted the 'excessive delay' in the Miracle may also be a cause. It seems as secularization takes real hold in the world fewer and fewer people, including the vast majority of Catholics in the West, believe in the supernatural life and hence have no interest in Garabandal even when it is explained to them. I have shared the Garabandal story with several people and they just shrug their shoulders. Even some of my immediate family are not convinced when I speak of the Warning and Miracle to come [I think they just see their Dad as 'odd'!]. There is unbelief all around us, and I include even in my own heart. We need to let our Lady 'purify our hearts' of all sin and unbelief in order to be sensitive to the things of the spirit. Only a spiritual person can understand spiritual things. For some reason I always have been attracted to the Garabandal events and the whole spirit of Garabandal appeals to me. I get really excited when I think that [God willing] I will live to see the Great Miracle of Garabandal. Although I might not be physically present at Garabandal on the day of the Miracle I will be in spirit [and I have a feeling I will be with our Lady on the Hill shrine in Dromara on the day of the Miracle]. Keep persevering in faith for without faith life would be so dull and boring!!

hello again , dont doubt about garabandal, it is genuine, the warning will occur , and the miracle also , at the time of the warning which is fast approaching, their wont be many of the faith, many many catholics today are look warm , its as if they are in a trance, their is so much confusion , going on , but all this is due to the times we are living in, we should all be pulling together , and uniteing, for example , their are people who are for one apparition site were our lady as appeared , but are against others were our lady as appeared, this is all wrong, but instead of remaining silent , and having an open mind , they use catholic newspapers to attack one anothers comments, this isnt unity among catholics, as its our own faith that their attacking, we are living in times that have been handed over to satan, pope leo 13th [ that number is so special for these times ]overheard a conversation between god and the devil , the devil asked god for a period of time to test the church, out of all the centuries to choose from , he chose the 20th century, look what happened in that century , it was filled with evil, these years since the end of the 20th century, are extra time given to the devil , he knows his time is up soon, so hes becoming more aggressive, he also knows gods hand is going to come down soon also, look at the attacks on the pope and the church , its the devils final throws, soon hell try to form is own religion and form a world church, one world religion, which wont be catholic and wont be of god, but heaven as its own plans , as the devil trys to crush the church[ and for a short time itll seem that the devil as won, and the catholic religion is no more , itll be difficult for priests to say mass, and will for a time go underground, so the devil trys to crush the church, but its our lady who crushes his head together with the help of st. micheal, we must re- instate the st. micheal prayer to be said at the end of each mass, my prayers and best wishes go out to you all, god bless you all,
Norman, You are right. We are in the midst of a spiritual battle. Let us call upon St. Michael and our guardian angels! We need especially their help in the moments of temptation, for satan will attempt to sap our faith through the discouragement of sin. The devil knows our personal weaknesses, but let us wear him out and frustrate him by our intractable confidence in Divine Mercy! Why did God allow Satan a period of time to test the Church? Many things of God are a mystery but I feel the answer to this is found in the first and last books of Holy Scripture. Genesis speaks of The Woman [Our Lady] who will crush the head of the Serpent; and in Revelation we learn of the Woman clothed in the sun and the Moon at her feet and the war with the Red Dragon. It is God's will in these end of times to reveal The Woman, Mary of Nazareth, the Holy Virgin Mary, Theotokos, Mother of Christ, daughter of the Father and Spouse of the Holy Spirit. In order to reveal her true identity, mystically hidden within Holy Scriptures, God has allowed satan power and dominion so that in his pride he believes he can crush the Church founded by Jesus Christ but he will be defeated and crushed by the humble hand-maid of the Lord. Our Blessed Mother gathers all her devoted children into the refuge of her Immaculate Heart and guides them to holiness and presents her spiritual children to God the Father as her heel that will crush the head of satan, the red dragon. The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the triumph of humility over pride, love over hate and truth over deceit. Time is running out - our Mother calls all to her Immaculate Heart in The time of Grace; in Medjugorje she has stated that this time Her Time; is that is why the warning, miracle and chastisements 'appear' to have been delayed. The mother is calling her children to the refuge of her Heart, she is the New Ark of the covenant and God has granted her additional time for her to draw her children to her bosom and to form her band of loyal followers attentive to her voice, hidden under her mantle, a powerful army of prayer warriors and holy saints consecrated to her Immaculate Heart. It is a battle satan cannot win for even though it may seem that the Church is crushed and bruised our Lady will triumph because she has drawn many holy saints to her heart and through these 'little ones' her triumph is assured for it is the Woman clothed with the sun who will deliver the knock-out blow and the head of Satan will be crushed by the heel of the Woman of Genesis and Revelation. The world will be in awe at the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. She who is all humilty will be raised to a new level of Advocate, Mediatrix and Co-Redemptrix and the triumphant Church, purified and holy like a spotless bride will rejoice and celebrate her triumph and be in awe of our Lady of Victories. The celebrations will be great, a real Jubilee because it will have been so unexpected - it will appear to be a victory snatched out of the jaws of defeat, like David slaying Goliath, like the unexpected resurrection of Christ, like the raising of Lazurus. satan underestimates our Lady in his pride and this is his weakness. She is no ordinary Lady, despite her humble background, she is apple of God's eye, his greatest work of art, a mother so perfect and pure that we will spend eternity gazing at her beauty and in heaven our hearts will burst with joy and love for the gift of our Mother, the Lady of all Grace. hello sean, just to let you know , i wasnt shown signs at other apparition sites around the world, what i was shown was preview of warning , leading up to the miracle of garabandal, the miracle is a bright light which comes down from the sky , it travels through a gap between the mountains at garabandal, then turns right and heads for the pines, the light then stops at the cross to the left of the pines, it then changes into the eucharist, joey lomangino was the very first to be cured at the pines at garabandal, the miracle is the eucharist. i was shown the permanent sign to appear were our lady first appeared at medjugorje, this sign is a cross with flames coming from it , this cross will also heall the people, when i was given this vision in 1998 , which was two years before i went to medjugorje for the first time, i witnessed thousands upon thousands of people on their knees looking in the direction of the cross , the people were all over the fields on their knees, the cross was so big , it could be seen over a very very large area, surrounding medjugorje itself, the flames coming out of the cross, seemed like that of a living flame type of effect, soothing but very much healing all the people present who were on their knees, when i went to medjugorje for the first time , i seemed to know were everything was , because of the very way the vision was shown to me , i havent been shown other apparition sites around the world, other than garabandal and medjugorje, so i cant comment on if signs will appear at those places, i have been given a vast amount of visions in regards to many many things , also a number of these have already taken place and been confirmed , i mentioned the visions to many people , how they occured , and their are many many witnesses out their in this world who can confirm the very truth of what im saying, for after these visions took place , they were confirmed and the visions actually took place within a short period of time , after being shown them, it was those people i told who made contact with me , and they told me , they happened exactly how you said they would, i have also took photographs inside my home , and heavenly supernatural happenings have taken place on them, including angels, which like many times in past , the confirmation as come were my bookmark is , when reading certain religious books, ie, i have visions/ or take photographs , then next day were im up to in reading certain books the confirmation takes place, in august 2008, a magazine in ireland called irelands eye, did an interview with me , which was published in the august 2008 edition of irelands eye, i received a massive amount of mail and phone calls after it appeared in the magazine, i came over to ireland and gave talks and showed people my files on visions that i have had, many many people , instantly could tell that i am genuine and telling the truth , because were truth is it cannever be destroyed, heaven and the holy spirit is behind true visionaries, because its through this that we gain our strength.
