I believe the biggest problem with this document is the fundamental loss of the understanding of the operation/nature of God in relation to mankind, by eliminating the titles co-redemptrix and co-mediatrix of Our Lady. Our Lady serves as an example as to how to reach our own pinnacle of alignment with God's will. Her continuous "yes", humility, faithfulness, sinlessness, loving yearning for God and so on, eventuated in God using her as a vessel for His desire to accomplish the salvation of mankind. As well, it also demonstrates how God's Person operates via Lowliness, Humility, Love and so on. His continuous use of the lowest in order to accomplish His plans. Everyone already knows that God is all powerful, but the concept that He chooses to operate independently of mankind is false. This document perpetuates this false narrative, so many minds will now be influenced by this tragic inaccuracy. Whereas if people understand that when it is when they are weak, humble, kind and loving that God is closest to them. Essentially aligning with God's nature and will, this is when God will choose to operate more fully in their lives. And, Mother Mary serves as the greatest example of this. It is a shame that this isn't what is being taught.
I keep coming back to this, as I am remembering a certain prophecy but I can't remember where it came from.Paraphrasing- In it Mary said that when they tried to[rip] take her son from her arms she would no longer hold back her Son's arm from destruction. Does anyone remember this at all?
I remember it but I cant remember where it came from--I dont think it was an approved apparition as I recall.
Perhaps it doesn't matter then. I just remember reading it and thinking-how could they ever rip her son from her arms, but this document makes it seem as if that is what the Vatican is doing.
I vaguely remember it as well and when this document came out I tried to do a search for it but did not find it. In fact the AI search made it impossible to get past their summaries of the obvious and well known information to try to find this much less known prophecy!
I used the title co-redemptrix once in my book on our Lady & the rosary and used mediatrix several times so I was worried about the Vatican's ban on the former title. Would i have to take it out of my book? Cardinal Fernadez clarified things last week when he said the title co-redemptrix when properly understood by the faithful can still be used in private devotions and prayer groups. He says the term will not be used in official Vatican texts from now on. Since my book is a devotional prayer book and I understand the term co-redemptrix in its proper context then I need change nothing. The title will be declared officially by a future holy Pope as the fifth Marian dogma but not under this Leonine papacy.
They made a huge, huge mistake when they attacked Our Lady. For in doing so they attacked peoples mother. People do not like their Mother being attacked. This is a huge sign of hope that they could make such a mistake. They are not as clever as they thought they were.
The devil's overreach. Or as Fr Ripperger says " evil militates to absurdity" In my mind the overt attack began with the burning of Notre Dame. Followed by pachamama. Horrific insults to Our Lady. But nothing like this " official" document. Terrifying for the perpetrators. There is a groundswell of anger over this. It will only grow.
