I have gone and lost my Kindle with Peter's book in it!

Grim. I will go to the last two visionaries Peter quotes if I ever find the thing. Say a prayer.:)

I put my daily prayers for the Pope on my most important list, maybe this is unusual, but I do agree there is so much to pray for.

There is, indeed there is. Satan is amazingly active all over the World. But of course especially in Rome. It is quite astonishing.

But of course Rome is the first and primary target. He has made

    ASTONISHING HEADWAY THERE.

I always pray for the Holy Father after the Apostles Creed with the first Our Father and the first three Hail Mary's of my rosary. This way I always remember to pray for him daily.

My first day in Rome I went to mass in a Basillica there at a side chapel. In the middle of the mass a man came towards the altar and tried to climb over the ornamental rope which seperated us fromthe priests. A barve African lady tried to stop him, the man was mumbling in coherently and very dishevelled. I went to help her and he retreated but a short while later came on again. I could see from the faces of the priests that they were shocked. I went to chase him again but had the storng mpression he was possessed. Only by prayer was I able to get him out of the Chapel.

Later at a large liturgical procession there was a priest who I believe was fully possessed and I believe totally evil.

At nighttimes here in Ireland sometimes in the past I ahve been permitted to feel Satanic Rites being carried out in the distance. But in Rome at nights they were much, much more powerful on A satrday Night and from several locations

Thanks, Padraig. Several years ago I attended a concert in a Catholic church. I was charged $20 to attend (and this was not a charity event). The pastor allowed a New Age group to perform improv dance and to process around the altar carrying large animal puppets that had been used previously in a solstice celebration (which included a 'summoning of spirits' of earth, wind, water and fire). The woman who orchestrated the event was a cantor at two Catholic churches; she was also the founder of The ____ Women's Rainbow Choir. I swear the hanging figure of Christ above the altar turned a sickly green during the event. I had to leave early.

I think that people tend to be tempted along the line of least resistance. So, say soldiers are tempted to violence and ambition, buisnessmen to greed, teachers to false teachings and so...

The particular temptation of priests and nuns is to false religion and this particualarly in the West is to New Age, which is effectively witchcraft and the occult. When the best corrupts it becomes the worst. Such priests are hideously dangerous and will be the ones to lead the hunt for us in the Great Persecution, I think one of the Signs of this corruption is a Religious Indifferentionism that sees all religions as the same. This is a mask for New Age, which as I say is Witchcraft. In other words the Devil is trying to lead us to Worship of Himself. But this is disguised, at least at the moment.

Lily Among the Thorns, Apparitions Italy (2013-)

A young Italy man , a stigmatic. Peter is so good at finding these people, I searched the web and could not find a trace of him, apparently former Chief Exorcist Gabriele Amorth and retired Bishop Andre Gemma both give these the thumbs up.

    Virgin Mary, September 22, 2014

'[..] The Vicar of My Son, the Holy Father will have to suffer much, but he will have to decide to take the side of truth in order that the smouldering flicker of Faith in the Holy Church should not be extinguished entirely. They are many who are surrounding him seeking to strike him down, but he should not be afraid to speak the truth because of the sufferings that they will cause him. He will have to suffer much : in fact for a certain period of time the Church will be the object of very great persecutions, and they have already begun, as I told you my son ; you must pray much for the Church and for the Seat of the Vicar of My Son, pray for the Holy Father in order that he might confirm all children in the truth..The Church must obey God and not the world, the world must obey God in His Church, the law of man must be subordinate to that of God in the laws of the CHurch, the Hierarchy must be subordinate to Jesus Christ and to Jesus Christ in His Vicar'.

There is so much richness in this message it is hard to know where to start. How ever I think for people who expect Our Lady here to be an enthusiatic cheer lady for Pope Francis will be in for a suprise. For instance:

'........but he will have to decide to take the side of truth in order that

Our Lady indicates that , 'He will have to decide to take the side of truth'.

So it seems if we will have to decide to take the side of truth , he has not already done so. As the Scots say, he is 'Havering', he hasn't made his mind up yet to back the Truth, Orthodoxy. How extraordinary if we have a Pope who is unsure whether or not to oppose heresy!! But of course we can see this for ourselves in that many Cardinals (like Kasper) , Bishops and even Synods of Bishops are in quite open and outright unashamed heresy while the Holy Father does nothing.

So I can quite see what Our Lady is talking about here, sadly. No wonder she is so very, very concerned and speaks of,

    '
........the smouldering flicker of Faith in the Holy Church should not be extinguished entirely'

It is difficult to think of a more damning assessment of the Church as it currently stand. But of course Our Lady is quite right in this once again. Heresy is rampent everywhere and is unopposed , because as Our Lady indicated the Pope has not yet decided to make a stand.

I think too this message which warns of the grave danger of Faith itself being extinguished goes very, very much against the Pollyanna view of many that the Church has been going from strenth to strength under the current Ponitificate. Very, very much the reverse in fact. What could be graver than the Mother of God heresly warning that the .'Smouldering flicker of Faith...might be extinguished'.

Why is Faith, in the Church '......smoldering' as the Queen of Heaven warns us? Why because of course the serpent heads of heresy are everywhere raised , everywhere triumphant and nowhere opposed.

Because the Pope has not yet decided to oppose it, as Mary indicates.

The Mother of God goes on to speak directly of these Judas Cardinals and Bishops,

'They are many who are surrounding him seeking to strike him down, but he should not be afraid to speak the truth because of the sufferings that they will cause him'.

In other words the Pope the Pope has to, at last make a stand. Something of which he has, of course, conspicuously failed to do up to the present moment. All we can say of the Church at the present moment as regards heresy and heretics is that the Lunatics appear to have taken over the asylum.

The last part of Our Lady's message is also so interesting it clearly indicates that the persection of the Church that is coming is clearly to the impostion of Government Laws.

    Something to watch out for.

If the Pope spoke out clearly of Catholic teaching with regard to abortion, homosexual practise, divorce and other moral issues there would be countries calling for him to be tried at the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

Say the Pope were to quote part of the Catechism on homosexual practise -
Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,141 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

The truth is if any of us did the same we would be accused of 'hate speech'.

Bishop Fulton Sheen On True & False Compassion

False compassion and human respect are, in my opinion, a large part of the reason for much of the corruption in the world and the Church.

Apathy, lukewarm faith, attachment to sin, and obstinacy in sin are not helped in any way by false compassion.

Sin is like a cancer. Imagine an oncologist having a compassionate attitude toward the cancer killing his patients! Although those patients might suffer less in the beginning because they wouldn't be forced to endure chemotherapy, more likely than not, the patients treated by such a physician would die much sooner, whereas if such patients were treated, many would very likely beat their cancer and live.

Sin is like poison. It's not compassionate to sit back and let someone drink poison.

The key is speaking the truth in love. Tone is very important when dealing with creatures as fragile, fickle, and prone to pride as human beings, who due to concupiscence, as a result of Original sin, are inclined to take the path of least resistance and follow their lower passions rather than right reason.

Although it is true that fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, it's very important to make sure that in sharing the truth, we do not become an obstacle to its acceptance. Who wants to sign up with a group filled with members that appear bitter, angry and unpleasant? Who would join a group that sought to enlist members by insulting and condemning people?
Catholics must learn their faith so as to be prepared with the questions and challenges to their Faith they will hear from those who do not believe and from those who cling to sinful lifestyles. Catholics must share their faith with others in a way that doesn't compromise the truth in any way, but still invites and attracts.

Christ did not compromise, but He remains attractive to sincere people, whether or not they have come to believe in Him.

Many non-believers will readily admit that Jesus is appealing – they claim that it's His followers that trouble them. This may be true, or it may be a excuse. Our job is to make sure we're part of the solution, and not part of the problem.

Many people will still, sadly, reject the truth, even when it is presented charitably, accurately, and truthfully. People rejected Christ during His public life, and they will reject His followers now, but we can't comfort ourselves with the false security that every rejection of the Christian method is due only to the sinfulness of those with whom we share the Holy Gospel.

Christians must walk a fine line. They must speak the truth, without compromise, but in love, with a desire to lead souls to Christ, and a prudent understanding about what may needlessly drive people away.

During a programme on EWTN (I think it was for the opening of the doors of mercy at the Vatican) someone mentioned that Pope Francis had been very impressed by Cardinal Kasper's book on Mercy and it could have had some influence on his decision to launch the Year of Mercy. That was the first I heard of Cardinal Kasper's book. Has anyone read it?

Incidentally, EWTN showed this morning's Solemn Mass for the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord from the Sistine Chapel, which included a number of baptisms. The Holy Father appeared to be tired, as though the burden of carrying the whole Church was weighing heavy on his shoulders. The Sistine Chapel looked so beautiful and it was nice to see it used for Holy Mass. Due to the position of the altar, Mass was said with the Pope's back to the congregation (is the official term ad orientum?). Anyway, it was strange seeing Mass celebrated that way after so many years. The Mass will be shown again on EWTN at 11 p.m. our time (GMT) should anyone want to watch it.

I think one day the altar rails will be back. comunion on the tongue will be back, all male alar servers will be back, no more Eucharistic Ministers, the tabernacle will be always front and centre and the priests will always face away from the Congregation leading the people to heaven.
