Hi All, I....I mean my family really needs your prayers. Not only my immediate family but my extended family as well. We have been under a serious attack by dark spiritual forces and it seems that almost what ever could go wrong has gone wrong. One quick note is that my Daughter, she is in her mid 30's, has become estranged under some very difficult circumstanses and will not even attempt to speak with us on a reconciliatory basis and all she can do is point fingers. Unfounded I have to say. Please pray for her. She has alway "hated christianity" in her words and and can't stand christians. Please pray for us and our family. Lynn, it seems the Holy Spirit showed up at mass for you. Father was talking about trials and said a couple of things that hit home. One of which was we need to stay in the present. If we look at our past in relationship to what's going on we see our failings and shortcomings, doubt comes and takes residence. If we focus on the future we may let the projections of our fears take complete hold and fear will paralyze us, not allowing for God's way. But if we stay in the present, there we find God waiting for us, aiding with the Holy Spirit, and we find peace. And unfortunately the other was a quote from St. Teresa but my mind has dismissed it. It may come again, if it does I'll share it with you.
Thank you all for your wonderful and kind words and prayers. You all are so kind and my prayers are also with you. I will offer up our suffering for the salvation of souls. Our society, the worlds, is falling apart. Lord come quickly!!! God bless you all.
Oh AZCatus, I got it, the quote, from St. Therese : It's because we think of the past and the future that we become discouraged and fall into despair. I was so taken with that. I hope it fits and you find comfort in it too.
AZ, God is allowing all our human foundations to crumble. Then, when our souls are illumined and we encounter the depth of our rebellion, unlike Adam and Eve there will be no place to hide behind. Each of us will be given the clear opportunity to embrace Mercy. The crosses we bear today form the pathway to the Heart of Christ. Lord come quickly! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us! Mario, when you write it's the breath of the Holy Spirit that comes to lite. You are right though, we must come to that place of dependency upon the God of our Salvation. Mary, pray for us who have recourse to you.
AZ you will be in my prayers at Mass today. I too have noticed evil attacks multiplying on my family and friends. Satan is upping his game as his power will soon be broken. Keep praying and trusting 'Jesus I Trust in You'. Its a great prayer to obtain peace. God bless you and especially your dear daughter. May the light of the Holy Spirit illuminate her mind and spirit and drive away all dark forces that seek to pull her down. Mary
