Hi guys, Here is an account of a physical healing I received in Medjugorge some 22 years ago. I had been rear ended in a car accident and shortly afterwards a disc in my back became displaced. (I'm not sure if this was linked to the accident or not) I had constant pain for over 10 years and used to be off work for at least one week in every month. I had pain in my back and right down into my foot, if I was standing I had to sit and vice versa. I attended hospitals, bone setters, and Christian healers but to no avail. Around 1989 I went to Medjugorje, I still was in pain but had more or less accepted it at this stage as having it for life, and wasn't really praying to be healed. One day a huge crowd climbed the small hill for an apparition with one of the visionaries. When the apparition was over and nearly all the people had left, I and a friend were sitting on a large rock taking in the silence and peace. All of a sudden my back started to ache and it became worse than it ever had been. I couldn't understand it because I had not moved at all. I mentioned to my friend that I was in agony and feared I wouldn't be able to walk down the hill. This friend was a very holy and gifted man and he said to me that it was old nick trying to disturb my peace. "Rebuke the pain in Jesus' name," he told me." So I said those same words but the pain remained. We sat and prayed and the pain still remained, but the thought came into my mind to rebuke the cause of the pain in Jesus' name and the word "satan" entered my mind. So I said aloud, "I rebuke you satan in Jesus' name," and as quick as one could snap their fingers the pain disappeared. I couldn't believe it and expected it to return with every step coming down the hill. I arranged to meet my friend later in the evening beside the church and as I approached him he told me he saw an angel beside me with a cd disc and he could hear the click as the angel pressed it into my back. He said this was a confirmation of my healing. To this day I have never had any more difficulty with my back thanks be to God and his Blessed Mother! God Bless Border collie
I never followed up on x-rays etc. I went to my own doctor upon my return from medj and told him. He more or less laughed at me even though I had been to him previously for pain killers and was on crutches for a time. At the time he wrote a letter referring me to a consultant for another medical complaint, I subseqently opened his letter and he had mentioned my healing to the consultant. My healing had a major effect on my mother who told everyone who'd listen about my medj experience! I suppose she could see the before and after much clearer than most.
