I am so sorry for your loss Simplicity. I will remember your husband in my prayers and ask God and our Blessed Mother to comfort you and your family and to take care of all your needs. May God bless you and keep you all and let His Face shine upon you.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat eis. Fidelium animae, per misericordiam Dei, requiescant in pace. ~Amen~
Hello Simplicity. My brother-in-law passed away from pancreatic cancer a few weeks ago. My sister is having an understandably rough time in the aftermath. Of course, they knew it was coming, had time to prepare, his suffering was immense, and death was the only relief left. Yet, even in the midst of faith, we're never quite ready for our loved ones to pass over, leaving us to face the sorrow and the struggles alone, are we? You and your husband are in my prayers.
So sorry to hear of you loss, Simplicity. Eternal rest grant unto him, Oh Lord. We will pray for you and your loved ones.
I am sorry for your loss, Simplicity. I have prayed for your husband and I will pray for your strength on Wednesday when he is laid to rest. God bless you.
May God bring you comfort, I know how difficult this is watching my Mom go through this. Prayers coming your way.
Oh how sad. My condolences to you and your family in your sorrow. Praying for your husband’s soul. May he be blessed with a beautiful and holy funeral Mass on Wednesday.
I can't imagine! Praying for the both of you! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Today begins the novena to Our Lady of Sorrows. When I think of Our Lady's suffering watching her Son suffering on the Cross, wanting his suffering and pain to end but not wanting him to die at the same time it has to be such a helpless painful moment in Our Lady's life. When I read your post, that's what it reminded me off, how often our suffering is united to Our Lord and Our Mother's suffering. We don't understand the purpose. I'm so sorry for both of your losses. Sorrow all around lately. God Bless!
