Padraig, you are really wadeing into deep waters to sell the car that you just bought. That's got to be an ample sacrifice for you, especially after going to great lengths to get the car. Good on you! I've been asking our Mother to "take over" regarding the details of this trek. It sounds as though she's busy. It's marvelous news to hear of your brother's effort to re-join his family and especially his son. Far too much damage could be done there if his ways weren't changed. Please God continue to heal him and any injury he may have caused to those he loves. The journey back is a very long one sometimes with torturous road. I'll pray for tenacity and single vision for him. And of course a humble, willing and open heart. God bless them all.
Hi Gail, I am sitting in the hospital in the early morning, on night shift once again. Things are changing so much here. We had a strike last week and are loosing more and more staff. They say this year will be the worst flu epedemic ever heading our way and a terrible winter. How strange to see the things we all discussed on the forum coming to pass right before ourvery eyes!! :shock: I always believed that the things we idscussed would come to pass but to actually see them take place well...I hope I have a good faith in Prophecy but I have to admit I find it all mind blowing, like living through a science fiction film.....I feel so sorry for those whose faith is not so strong or who have never been open to prophecy. I think if we have been listening to Mary we are more than half way open to conquering the fears that these really historic events may produce. They bring peace and trust, I feel a deeper joy and peace knowing MAry will hold us all in her loving arms as these events unfold.. I am not seeling the car just for the dough to hit the States, I feel a deep prayerful calling to a much simpler, poorer lifestyle in preperation... Praying about my brother and his family has reminded me how very little I know about marriage and its stresses and strains. A great calling and vocation, but such a mystery to me. I notice so much in the USA how you are all being buried in Signs..... I ntoice particularly the drought in the Mid west and Texas, the strange weather, the economic coopse but of all things the letter of rebuke to your President from your Cathoic Bishops stands out in my mind. It reminds me of the Prophets in the Old Testament who rebuked the Kings of Israel. It took courage and prayer to do such a thing and reminded me of what is written in Scipture: 'There is still a Prophet in Israel' Iprayeruflly believe that Our LAdy will visit the USA in a very special series of apparitions soon. She has already siad that if necessary she would appear in every home. Usually she appears to young people, the poorest of the Poor in a rural area, so I would look out for that. I also notice she has a tendency to appear now a days to groups so I would look to that.. Run out of time..more later...
Wow - interesting thought, Padraig. If you catch this happening somewhere and we here in the US miss it, be sure to let us know. You know the news media here will ignore something like that (unless it happens right after the warning)!!!
They won't ignore this one, no one will ,as it will be accompanied by great Signs in the heavens. However as Scripture says it will be a, 'Sign of Contradiction' not only for those within the Church but for those without. However it will be endorsed by the ordinary faithful who will stream there in their millions and its good fruits will be apparent to all those who are God's friends and seek peace upon their land. Our Lady will speak openly and directly about the future for your nation . If she chooses God's path and if she does not. As a Sign of contradiction however these messages will be attacked for being politically inspired and even seditionist. Not so however..in a sense everything is political, Jesus Himself was killed for a political 'crime,' treason against Rome... One of the Signs these apparitions will be true is that secularists will be furious and in a great rage against them. This in itself will be a Sign, for if this thing is pure invention, why get so het up about it? Watch and see. Priest will be divided against priest , Bishop against Bishop .....but for those who are God's friends.....acceptance. I hope it kicks off before I get out there as I hope to visit it at an early stage before folks come flocking...that I might be like the three wise men who visited the cradle from a far land when all was still and silent. I have begun to pray for those whom she will visit that they may be strong, as they will very much need to be... :roll:

Well, let me descirbe the site to you ,Connie as I see it in prayer and let me know if it is the same place. I am standing in trees looking toards an incline or hill on which is a scattering of houses of a hamlet, in the middle of which is a small Catholic Church. Before the incline is a small stream... The stream is symbolic of the presence of the Holy Spirit and the Hill of the Cross. Our Lady of Medugorje is supposed to have said that these were her last apparitions on Earth. This is quite true, the coming apparitions in the USA and elsewhere round the globe, a real storm of them are all part of the same last movement preparing for the great storm which is about to break on the world. In the case of the USA if you have read my icons you can see quite clearly why Our Lady needs to visit to get folks set...
wow...interesting how topics on a thread can take unexpected twists and turns :lol: First off, I'm glad your brother is doing better with his family situation. I'll keep praying that things will continue to turn around for him and that their family bond strengthens as well as the marrital bond between him and his wife. wow...apparitions here in the US...how exciting that would be!! That would be amazing actually, and I'm excited just thinking about it. I'm wondering if it would be in the "bible belt" middle of the country or in a more secular region (Boston, NY, CA), as there are rural areas and poverty in all the states of the US. Strange weather, drought and natural disasters will be explained away as global warming/climate change. so God will never be able to reach us through those types of signs. I believe that the bishops wrote to the president about concerns for doctors/nurses to have conscience clause protections with the new healthcare laws. It is really terrible how religious rights are disapprearing extremely fast lately. With gay marriage some are forced to, against their conscience and/or religion, give out licenses. Now with contraception, the morning after pill, etc., doctors and nurses are on the firing line. This came to light in the heat of a recent local election, where an emergency room nurse was getting heat for refusing (based on her religion) to administer the morning after pill to a patient who requested it. When the politician running in the election was asked about it in a radio interview, she actually said that maybe catholics should not be emergency room nurses!! I was shocked at her callaus answer!! Thank goodness she lost the election! I'm so glad to hear this. If it comes across as any way political or inciting rebellion, I can see why those against God will be so against it. I can hear it now...that is so hateful...etc. I'm glad that there will be signs from heaven, because honostly when an apparition site starts speaking about politics (i.e. 1 world currency, 1 world government, etc.), I tend to tune that apparation site out, because no other approved apparition site really gets specific about world events or even skirts political areas. So these messages would be very different. My guess is the apparitions will begin before the next presidential election, since who leads the country during that time will be extremely important. Padraig - in your icons, you posted 6 out of 9. Did you receive the last 3 already? Have you had any indication in prayer when you should post the last 3?
It doesn't sound like the area of Our Lady of Good help...there is no stream there, and not really an incline either...only trees! The scene you describe could be just about anywhere in the rural US. We have rolling hills in the north, Glacier cliffs to the northwest, the Rocky Mountains and Smokey Mountains, and the beautiful European-like scenery of the east. Cute little churches are everywhere, as are little villages, or hamlets, as you called them. And streams, lots of streams. It could be a little town up the road from where I live, or from where just about anyone lives. The one thing that may help is the Catholic church...most of these little towns have a little church, but more often the church is not a catholic one. It is some little congregational church or a little Baptist church more often than a Catholic one. I can't wait to see this come to fruition! I too hope it will be very soon!
I bet it's the east coast, New England, upstate NY. I keep thinking of Terry and Potatosack when I think of it. This will be wonderful to watch to see what happens. It's definitely time for prayer.
You know she's fond of mountains and small villages, Emmitsburg doesn't look like that. It's going to be a surprise to us all.
You might identify the place by the chapel, which was small. bulit of brick, had what looked to me an unusually small round window over were the altar would be and band of kind of light brown /biege bricks cicling the small squat steeple. A modern chuch based on much older design. I don't recall ever seing a CHurch like it in Ireland, though I suspect such a mix of traditional and modern may be common in the USA.
If nothing else we are eclectic. I wouldn't recognize that structure from anything I've seen but I imagine it's hidden at this point. It's really fun to think about though. We are such a state of shame here, we need Her touch.
If Our Lady were to visit America again, I cannot help but think she would visit an area that originally served as an enclave of Catholicism in my country's expansion. Parts of California, the Dakotas, Florida, Louisanna, Maryland, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Wisconson come to mind. The one that most captures my imagination is western PA where the Russian prince, Demetrius Augustine Gallitzin, established the Loretto Settlement at the end of the 18th Century. Now there's a story of disposing of one's wealth for the sake of building a refuge for Catholics! trying to pinpoint the place of a potential future apparition is like finding a needle in a haystack, but I wanted to post this. Even if it is not the place Padraig was shown, it may be a place of significance to keep an eye on, although I've always thought it might be a "place of refuge". there is a marian community / spiritual center in Medway MA. I've been there several times to see Ivan of Medj and once to see Anne the Lay Apostle. My last visit there was to see Anne, and it was several years ago now. It was on this last visit that the nun (Sister Margaret Catherine Sims) who had the center built spoke about how the whole project was done via God's providence and guidance. At the time, they had just started planning to build overnight lodging for pilgrims there, and that she just knew through prayer God wanted this done although she didn't know why, and the money was proving not to be a problem. She then talked about how she really felt that this place was a part of God's great plan (being fulfilled through Medj, as they are very, very pro-Medj), although she didn't know how the center fit in the plan. When Anne spoke, she also stated how she felt the center was a part of God's great plan. So obviously this always stuck with me. About a year ago I went on their website and read up on the history of the place and was shocked to discover a link between this place in Medway, MA and Maria Esperanza (mystic from Brazil in good standing w/ her bishop and written about a lot by Michael Brown). Seems Maria is Sister Margaret's spiritual advisor, and Sister Margaret heard in prayer that she should build this place. Sister then went to Maria and Maria was shown in prayer the location God had prepared for this spiritual retreat, which they found in Medway. They had to look for trees, water, and old farm buildings, which is how they matched what they found with what was shown in prayer. Anyway, there's a 6 minute clip showing all this, how Maria found a rock in the ground with Jesus face on it and that's where they erected the buildings, etc. It's very interesting and shows a lot of the grounds, which is very pretty. http://betania2.org/about It does seem like this place will serve a special purpose for something and is not all random. I'm not sure if it would be the place of the apparition. Medway is suburban and middle class. The chapel is brick but not small. It's not real traditional, but not modern either, built in 2003. No mountains, but definately hills, trees, and a stream. I'm sure our Lady will surprise us with where she picks for the apparition!!

It was because Maria Esperanza had said it was Betania II. I haven't been there but when I read about it it resonated in my heart. Hmmmmm.... That's very interesting PS that you would hit on it.
When you were proceeding through your icons, Padraig, I remember Maryrose mentioning a stigmatist in the USA who had a church building prepared. I wonder if there might be a connection? Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
The place Terry shows is very like it. But I am not sure if it is the sma eplace because I saw it from above (and I thought behind) rather than from ground level, so what I took to be the back at the altar would be the front in this Church , which is confusing. Alos as Terry says it looks a little bigger , but then everything looks smaller from above... I read about Maria Esperanza's tetreat area and watched a vidoe on it. Perhaps Our Lady does not want this pace to be identified before these things happen...
Oh, now that I re-read your post, I understand you saw it from the outside only, and from the back...sorry. This is a stone and brick church in an old neighborhood in our town though, not in a forested village with a stream, but when you described the window it came immediately to mind as the style you may have seen. I can take a photo of the outside back tomorrow, but again, the external scenery isn't right for the site location anyway, so this is just for an idea.
