  7. I wasn't in total shock knowing it was McElroy. I guess it's starting to speed up. Let us storm heaven for our wonderful Monsignor. Trust in God...this stuff must happen but it's so scarey.

Poor Msgr Rossetti. He had the nerve to speculate that extra terrestials so called are actually demons.

Prayers for this poor priest. So sad. But people need his help. I wonder if they will get it now?

I notice some priests when they have a bad false Bishop or Cardinal have to live and act as though they are behind enemy lines, which in a way they are. There is not much they can do on us layfolk but they can do a very great deal on poor priests.

I am shocked at the archdiocese's reaction!!!! I can't believe that it's only due to Monsig.'s position on aliens. I find him to be calm and rational, not an attention-seeking glory-hunter, it's one of the reasons I was drawn to his blog and healing sessions. Has this no value when executing such a severe retribution?

I think the great difficulty Modernist Heretics have with people like Exorcists is that Modernists reject anything to do with the Supernatural or Mystical. Everything is to do with man and the works of man. Exorcists and Exorcisms they regard as so much Medieval hokey Pokery. They can't come right out and say this of course, so they had to fix this poor priest by the back door rather than the front.

The Alien thingy is only an excuse to bury him.

It seems that way, doesn't it? It is very sad. I only pray that Monsignor Rosetti has not given any other as yet not mentioned canonical cause for his removal which could have also contributed to this expulsion. For now, the official archdiocese notice only mentions the Monsignor's view of UFOs and his linking of them to demons in addition to the use of social media connected to this.

I take heart reading this priest's response to his removal as exorcist for the archdiocese. As posted on his blog, https://www.catholicexorcism.org/

Response from Msgr. Stephen J Rossetti: 6/3/2026
I am saddened by the decision of the Archdiocese of Washington to cut its affiliation with St. Michael Center for Spiritual Renewal (SMC). I ask forgiveness for any ways that I have not been faithful to the teachings of the Church’s Magisterium, particularly in the cited video on “aliens and the demonic”. I believe it is of the utmost importance to be obedient to the Church and I will continue to endeavor to subject all that I do and the Center to be thus obedient. Also, I will continue to encourage all to do so as well. As I often say: “Stay in the Boat!”, that is, stay in the barque of Peter, it will lead you safely home. I am grateful for 19 years of ministering in the Archdiocese of Washington as its exorcist and I thank the Archdiocese for its support and blessing all these years. We will remember the Cardinal and all in ADW in our prayers for its important ministry. SMC plans to continue its ministry elsewhere.
    God's abundant blessings be yours,
    Msgr. Stephen J Rossetti

Thanks for posting this, Seagrace. I was going to.
I know one of the deacons assigned to the St Michael Center by a previous archbishop. He is also assigned to
parish work. He’s wonderful. I think we need to keep this whole sad episode in prayer.

I agree, HH. We don't always know every side to everything but prayers covers everything.

What a wonderful, holy, obedient, wise, faithful Catholic priest. He reminds me of Padre Pio when they kicked him too in the teeth.

I think this is maybe backfiring on the Cardinal. Making him look really, really bad. But maybe he doesn't care.

What a good and humble priest. I am so heartened by his response. It's becoming rarer and rarer to see real humility and obedience like this during these trying times.
