Perhaps this is where the Battle is fiercest? Perhaps he has plans for Texas? Perhaps some Great Events are yo occur there in the future,
Thank you, Christy1983: factual and to the point. I had heard of the 8 cities named Nineveh but hadn't realized these are the only cities named Nineveh in Canada and the USA. That fact gives me pause. Lord have Mercy!
Another thing about Texas. It is ungodly and suffocatingly hot in the summers and growing hotter each year for longer periods.
I think it might be one of the areas where the Church first came to America? I love that story of the staircase which was supposed to have been built by St Joseph. I suppose it would have a good Cathokic population?
From Lifesite news... San Antonio Archbishop Gustavo García- Siller's politics could not have been clearer the day he gave Holy Communion to pro- abortion President Joe Biden and ignored pro-life Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
I don't really like a Bishop being publicly attacked in these circumstances. Padre Pio was approached one time by one of his fans who had written a book exposing all the evils of his enemy the local Archbishop Padre Pio went mad stopped it at once. Padre Pios Bishop was a very evil man but Padre Pio woukd not hear a word against him . This is not a good path to take. Better silence and obedience
And the solar eclipse is causing tremendous numbers to flock to rural Texas to view it, since there’s a better chance of clear skies there for viewing than other states.
I'm taking this to heart. Especially with Holy Week coming upon us. Our Lady of Guadalupe, ora pro nobis ~
Simply pointing out an important fact isn’t by nature at attack. It’s just reporting facts on LSN’s part. And this fact is salient to this story.
St. Joan of Arc comes to mind here. But if I remember correctly, it was a very long time until she was vindicated. In the end she was. Today, she would likely have been placed in a padded cell instead of burned at the stake. But times change, for better or for worse. We each have to take responsibility for what we say and do, or don't do. The Little Flower Therese, St. Faustina, St. Padre Pio, all suffered greatly in their obedience to their superiors. The Good Lord Himself suffered in obedience to the Father. In that spirit, I apologize if any comments from myself caused scandal to anyone. This Lent has thus far been intense, and Holy Week is ahead of us. God bless ~
Texas is a spiritual battlefield, for sure. It was a woman in TX that took the abortion issue all the way to the Supreme Court in the 1970s, resulting in Roe V. Wade. She later repented, and has spent her life trying to stop abortion ever since. A couple years ago, before Roe V. Wade was reversed, TX passed a law that virtually eradicated all abortion in the state. So TX has been the state most free of abortion longer than any other state now. I knew when that happened that TX would be targeted by evil. You could see and feel the demons turning their eyes on TX. The Left has been trying to turn TX blue for several years now. They pour ridiculous amounts of money into the Democrat campaigns here. TX liberals get funded better from out of state than here. But so far we're still solidly red. Our Catholic population is rapidly expanding. We have a practicing Catholic governor. Our capitol, Austin, has a cathedral with an empty niche up on the outer wall that has recently been discovered to be for a St. Michael statue that was never placed. There are people working and praying for a St. Michael statue to be placed in that spot, as there is a feeling that something wonderful is waiting for his arrival. We have the oldest, largest, and most thriving FSSP parish in the United States. I am very blessed to be a part of it.
Yes, Texas is called "The Lone Star State". Also the presence of Dr Taylor Marshall is there. He has been a huge thorn in the side of this Papacy, I would say, and though I'm sure some here would disagree with me, I have found him to be a voice of great clarity over the past few years of utter devestation of Holy Mother Church, of which the worst is yet to come. I will never, ever forget the days of the Pachamama and how Taylor immediately made a video exposing the incredible desecrations of the Amazon Synod, in the Vatican Gardens and in St Peters, including the poster of the native Amazonian Woman suckling an animal which was hung in a Church in Rome. (And this all happened over the same time that Sister Agnes Sasagawa conveyed a message to "Put on Ashes and Pray" etc, - which was also at the same time frame that Covid was being leaked from The Lab, though we did not know that til later) And then that incredible mission to hurl the Idols into the Tiber River in Rome and that incredible video showing that mission being carried out - that plan to get the Idols out of the Church originated in TEXAS, with Taylor, in conjunction with Alexander Tchugguel.
That Church is The Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, just one State over. Santa Fe was certainly a cradle of very early Catholicism. There is a Chapel there named San Miguel Mission, which is also known as the oldest Church in the USA but it is not for certain. There is another Oldest Church in Florida, and yet another, back East. I think Texas used to be part of the Nation of Mexico, until the Battle of the Alamo, when it was wrested from Mexico by the USA, is that right ?
