Facts don"t matter to some. Many don"t want this known as they are under a false pretense that Putin is the good guy, comminism is no longer in Russia but only in the evil west and the 1984 consecration to the world brought us the peace we are now living in that our Lady of Fatima foretold.

I love the picture Daria, it could be photo shopped. Anyway, we have to remember people form views from what they read in the media and hear on the news. And some are influenced by what they read in well articulated posts. We don't really know for sure what is going on with Mr Putin. I hope he is acting under the influence of Holy Spirit through the intercession of Immaculate Heart of Mary. But time will tell, if peace is extended through his decision to support Mr Assad. I feel sometimes everyone wants to believe their own government must be the good guy, when in reality in war "Truth" is the first casualty. So we can only pray and hope for peace. Let God decide who the good guys are. I don't really know.

I don't think we are living in the age of peace Our Lady spoke of. It certainly hasn't seemed very peaceful. In any case the peace she promised comes after the triumph of her Immaculate Heart. If that has happened already then I think the world missed it.
Just as God raised up the Babylonians as a stick to punish the Hebrews He is raising up the Russians and others to beat us. The Russians are not our reward, the Russians are to be a large part of our affliction...as we are carried into captivity.
I for one do not think there is a good world leader left in any country. This also is why the Antichrist is welcomed on to the scene soon to come.

I am a retired Army officer's wife and have listened to stories of friends and my husband who was a Company Commander on the Czech border. He watched Russians kill people trying to get over the border and it was a horrible, helpless feeling. I also have spent time in Ukraine in Lviv and Kiev and surrounding areas. They are terrified of the Russians. Many would kill their families before allowing the Russians to do to them what they did to their grandparents and relatives. There are many different perspectives. I truly believe that the Western media is as guilty as the Nazi's in their propaganda. So are the Russians as is most countries trying to get out their agenda. The UN is particularly bad... So, all these perspectives need to be looked at and pondered. I had Josyp Terelya as a friend who was imprisoned for his faith for 22 years in the Russian Gulags. He spoke volumes. His mother and father were KGB high ranking officers. His mother was personally responsible for wiping out religion, imprisoning the religious, killing bishops, priests and nuns and hunting people down. His father later converted. He was shown spiritually (like a fly on the wall) many conversations of Yeltsin, Gorbachov and others and their plans. I frankly do not believe anything has changed. Just a couple of years ago Putin was promoting 'Fornication day' and giving people time off work to go home and 'do it'. Now I read that off of Pravda. So , what to believe! I do believe that there will be Unity. I believe that the antichrist will try to make a one world religion and take over the Church and try to do it under the UN. Our Lord will not allow that. There will be a lot of persecution going on. I am very interested in Orthodox prophesy. I know there are so many great saints we have never heard about. The pilgrims journey is right next to my bible and my Marian Movement of priests book and my Divine Will books and my True Life in God Books!!

If it’s true of this present Pope visiting Moscow, then I worry about Putin. Why would Putin invite progressive Francis to Moscow? It makes more sense that the Garabandal prophecy happened already in Cuba, before the world knew more about Pope Francis. I just can’t imagine an “Orthodox” Russia inviting this Pope today. But stranger things have happened. I pray for the conversion of the West and Russia. May we see her triumph soon.
Its like mirrors in a fun house. Everything we see seems a distortion. Fr Amorth said the consecration wasn't done. He was there. Russia is not converted although pockets of faith are there certainly.
I am pretty certain that Our Lady has said that she wants to use Russia to lead the world in returning to Christ, in conversion. Of that I am certain. How that can happen is a mystery to me, but I believe Our Blessed Mother. Pray, Hope and don't Worry.
Saul was a great persecutor of the Church. Yet it was God's plan that the persecutor would become the great evangelist, and help bring the gentiles to salvation. So it should not surprise us that Russia would persecute the Church and later lead the world in returning to Christ. The Prodigal son has the humility to accept the mercy of the Father.
