June 2, 2018 “Dear children, I am calling you to accept my words which I am speaking to you as a mother, with a simplicity of heart, so that you may set out on the way of complete light and purity, of the singular love of my Son, man and God. A joy—a light indescribable in human words—will penetrate your soul and the peace and love of my Son will take hold of you. I desire this for all of my children. Therefore, you, apostles of my love, you who know how to love and forgive, you who do not judge, you whom I encourage, you be an example to all those who are not going on the way of light and love or who have diverted from it. By your life show them the truth. Show them love because love overcomes all difficulties, and all of my children thirst for love. Your unity in love is a gift to my Son and me. But, my children, remember that to love also means to desire the good for your neighbor and to desire conversion of your neighbor’s soul. As I am looking at you gathered around me, my heart is sad, because I see so little brotherly love, merciful love. My children, the Eucharist—my Son alive among you—His words will help you comprehend, because His word is life, His word makes the soul breathe, His word brings about cognition of love. Dear children, anew, I am imploring you as a mother who desires the good for her children: love your shepherds, pray for them. Thank you.”
Adoration of the Blessed Eucharist is the answer! As Our Mother tells us! We have Jesus with us! And when I attend adoration I am in Heaven. But I find it hard to attend adoration regularly [because I work and the distance to adore my Lord is over an hour away from my home] and so I am expressing my heart felt plea to the Lord because the Lord has expressed to me over many months ........His want that I be there with Him. Please pray for me. I am caught between the needs of my husband and family and my want to be at the adoration Chapel.
I feel for you, Josephine. As I am also in a similar situation. May we keep each other in our prayers for God's guidance and support.
Yes I will pray for you as you pray for me. Thank you. I often turn towards the holy sacrament during the day and offer my love but to be there is so different; it places you in the eternal world! yet at home or at work it seems that my soul thirsts, my soul longs for the consolation of seeing Him, of beholding the prisioner of my love, who fills my soul with a sublime tenderness of just enjoying His presence alone.
We don't need to be in an adoration chapel, as Jesus is the same present in every tabernacle. If possible, one can forgo a lunch break and make a trip to your closest church. He is there. I have found reading the words of Jesus and Mary in the recently published book In Sinu Jesu at my daily visits during lunch break extremely uplifting. Best part of my day.
You are very blessed Fatima; I live 30 minutes from one town where both Catholic churches are closed during the week except for the daily Mass and I live an hour from the city with one Catholic church and an adoration chapel next to the Church. That church is also closed during the week. I used to be very blessed as you are and our church was opened during the day until taken over by a new priest about 10 years ago, since then the shortage of priests plus break-ins to the churches meant they closed. One church in the town 30 minutes away was opened during the day for approximately 8 months as they had installed cameras and alarms, I was able to make visits often but then they closed that church for renovations and now I've been told that it has reopened during the day. I have been there twice since [while in town] but it was closed both times. I have taken to sitting in my car outside the church and praying knowing that my Lord resides inside. As you see I have thought it all through even my lunch break would be impractical as driving to the Church and back in my 30 minute lunch break would probably only give me 5 minutes to sit in my car outside the Church. I offer this pain to Our Lord, knowing it is His will at the moment. Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.
Fatima I better identify with Josephite's position in regards to Eucharistic Adoration. While I know (this knowledge is mostly an intellectual exercise) our Lord is present in the tabernacle, His absence from my eyes creates an enormous gap to adore Him to the same degree in that state; my eyes have to behold Him in the Eucharist to truly adore Him. God Bless
Savior.org is a website that is run by cloistered sisters. Eucharistic adoration is on a schedule but anytime ive gone to this site it has been available
Reminds me of something Mirjana Solo said in her book. "I wish I could divulge more about what will happen in the future, but I can say one thing about how the priesthood relates to the secrets. We have this time we are living in now, and we have the time of the triumph of Our Lady's heart. Between these two times we have a bridge, and that bridge is our priests. Our Lady continually asks us to pray for our shepherds, as she calls them, because the bridge needs to be strong enough for all of us to cross it". In her message of 10-2-2010 she said, " Only alongside your shepherds will my heart triumph".
I wanted to post this lovely photo of Vicka, a seer of Medjugorje alongside the Bishop of Mostar, Ratko Peric, on the occasion of her child's recent confirmation.
