Here is an opportunity to hear some testimonies from people who love our Lady of Medjugorje. It should be good.

We will be there!!! We go every year. This year we will get to TELL stories of Medjugorje to others instead of just listening to everyone else's, since we have now joined those who have been there! Yay! I'll be praying for all of you.

Praise God, this is wonderful news. I'm so happy to hear you are attending. I want to hear all about it. I've gone to the one in Irvine and it was like being in Medjugorje.
I'll start praying for the Conference and your experience. This is lovely, thank you for sharing. Please do pray for the forum members and all the people whom we love.

    Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children, today I invite you to become missionaries of my messages which I am giving here through this place that is dear to me. God has allowed me to stay this long with you, and therefore, little children, I invite you to live with love the messages I give and to transmit them to the whole world, so that a river of love flows to people who are full of hatred and without peace." (February 25, 1995)

This weekend almost 2000 people attended the National Conference of Medjugorje 2010. It was the 22ndconference to be held at Notre Dame dedicated to spreading the messages of Medjugorje. Who could have imagined 22 years ago that the apparitions in Medjugorje would continue so long? God has allowed Our Lady to stay with us because we need her. We truly need her.

The witnesses during the conference were amazing! Richard Bingold told the agonizing story of his childhood in which he was abused, his adult life in which he abused himself and his family, and his dramatic conversion and healing through Our Lady of Medjugorje. Milona Von Hapsburg shared her long and beautiful relationship with Our Lady of Medjugorje which includes now the work of Mary's Meals, feeding poor children around the world. Traci Matheu shared how she was repeatedly called by the Lord, but each time quickly forgot Him, until she encountered Our Lady in Medjugorje and her faith finally took hold. Fr. Mark Gurtner shared about the gentle influence Our Lady of Medjugorje had upon him as he gradually responded to his call to the priesthood. Dan Davis, a seminarian, shared how Our Lady also confirmed his vocation and helped him to say yes. Father David Simonetti knelt before the beautiful statue of Our Lady at the conference, and rededicated his priesthood (on the 5ht anniversary of his ordination) to Our Lady of Medjugorje. He attributes his vocation to her. And finally, Ivanka Elez, Medjugorje visionary, shared the wonder of her first encounters with Our Lady on Podbrdo in Medjugorje. Her entire life is a witness to Our Lady's presence in Medjugorje.

Vocations, conversions, healings! All through the presence of Our Lady in Medjugorje! What a gift we have been given. And these wonderful, faith-building witnesses were actually transmitted to the whole world this weekend through the miracle of modern technology and the dedicated and generous service of a small band of volunteers for Mary TV! Tom and Matt Matasso and their team of cameramen and support crew captured the talks and prayer during the entire weekend and sent it all up through the internet to computers around the world! Wow!

"I invite you to live with love the messages I give and to transmit them to the whole world." Our Lady very wisely puts first things first. We must live with love the messages before we can transmit them. We must fast, pray, reconcile, believe, receive the sacraments, and love. Then we will be equipped to transmit the messages. I have never seen a more peaceful team than the Mary TV team this weekend. All worked as one, in peace and joy! It was truly an experience of the Kingdom of God. And in that loving unity, the messages were transmitted, VIA INTERNET!! Wow! Thanks be to God!!

Thanks also, to all of you who prayed for us and for the conference. It was a beautiful success. We will soon have the talks ready to be viewed, on demand at http://www.marytv.tv .

I am exhausted, so more tomorrow!

    In Jesus and Mary!

    Hi All,
I am SORRY I haven't written until now. I am in the process of checking out a possible new sales job and am working both jobs as I make the transition. This just started this on Monday so I have been way too busy the last few days trying to learn the new things and juggle my old job too. Whew! Anyway, I decided to take a break from all that and check out the forum finally. Also, as you all know, I leave on Monday with my Mom on my 2nd trip to Medjugorje...so I am a busy bee.
Anyway, about the conference...there were a lot of great speakers, and Ivanka was there. She is rather shy about speaking, so she isn't as personable as, say, Mirjana when she speaks, but she did good and I hope we all made her feel at ease. Her translator also spoke as a speaker, and her story was great also. I did learn something that somehow eluded me before. I did know whe was to release a biography of Mary whenever our dear Mother tells hew to do so, but I thought that it was diectated to her. Turns out, she has a parchment like Mirjana does. She said there are words on part of it that she can read, and the rest is blank right now. I did't know that before. You know, there is just so much to remember, and different books and articles write this variation and that variation, sometimes things get confused. Iguess that is why it is best to listen to the testimony of the visionaries themselves.

I'll try to think of some things that may not be recorded on MaryTV for you. Such as...
We had a little "miracle" on Friday night. The conference starts at 7 pm with a speaker and then is the rosary procession to the beautiful Grotto near the Basilica. There we sing songs and pray and afterward many vist the grotto to pray privately and light candles. Well, the weather had been bad all day, storms rolling through one after the other. We drove through a lot of rain along our 4 hour drive ourselves. Anyway, it didn't look good for the procession to happen. We arrived between storms, and during the first talk anther storm rolled in. But, after the speaker was done, the clouds parted and after a little wait for all the rain to clear, we were able to do the procession. It is almost a mile from the conference center to the grotto, and the longer we walked, the more beautiful the sky became. The after-rain sunset was breathtaking over the lake across from the grotto, and we remained clean and dry all the way there and back! Thank you Jesus and Mary!

Ok, continued...when I write a long post, for some reason the text in the reply box starts to jump and it is hard to keep writing, so I decided to just start again.

The next cool thing was the speaker, Richard Bingold. He is a healer...or I should say, when he prays over people, they seem to have powerful experiences and healings occur. This is his gift and blessing. So, after his talk, he was out in the book store area and the people were lining up. Now I have never seen people drop from the laying on of hands, or resting in the spirit. I had heard about it and seen these guys "push" people down on TV, but never wirnessed it myself. Well, I have now! People were dropping like flies! It so moved me that I decided to get in line. I have diabetes and had a blockage in an artery a few years ago that has been stented, but I worry about future issues so I decided to ask for his prayers. Well, right ahead of me three women dropped. One in particular was fascinating as I was right there to see up close, she crumpled and they laid her down, she clearly was not conscious. After a few minutes, her mouth started moving unnaturally fast, like a palsy almost but it wasn't. Then she slowed down a bit, and words could be heard, but not anything I recognised (speaking in tongues?), then this stopped. She laid there for a good 5 minutes before finally stirring. Her daughter looked worried, but of course she was fine. Everyone who I saw get up would weep and seem very grateful for the experience.
So, it was my turn. He gently laid his hand on my head, asked me my name, then he asked me if I loved Jesus, then he asked what was troubling me. I told him, and he chuckled, saying, "Those stents work great, I have two of them myself...now just don't worry about it anymore...don't worry." Then he laid his other hand lightly on my shou;der and started to pray almost silently. After about maybe 30 seconds, my legs crumpled! But I caught my balance with help of the catcher and did not go down. (I have NEVER fainted in my life, so I'm not surprised that I didn't go down completely...many others did this also, not going completely down, but I was shocked at what I did do! I didn't do it on purpose...that I do know!). Well, as I walked away, all I could think that I wanted to do was pray, so I started to pray a rosary. I felt funny. kindof numb, kindof weak, but not really...light, maybe. Anyway I felt odd for about a half hour, then that was it. Wow. I don't know if I had a healing or not, but it was quite an experience, and it deepened my faith. So it did something. And I guess I should not worry about it anymore, like he said. (now if only I could get my Mom to stop worrying about it!)

    Continued again,
Father Gurtner is a great speaker, we heard him talk on prayer last year, and this year he talked about the Mass. If you get a chance to look at anything on the MaryTV site, watch this one. This should be played at every Cathiloc school, and at every church one sunday! It is GREAT! I bought a CD of the tallk to go with the one I already have from last year on prayer. I mean it, watch this one.

Let's see, what else...we took a nap by the old campus cemetery on Sunday at the lunch break, went to the Basilica for Saturday evening Mass, and at the Sunday mass in the arena we were blessed by an old priest who had some relics...ok, now this was a little strange. He said that he had FIRST CLASS relics of...get this, Mary's mantle, Joseph's cloak, and the Manger Jesus was laid in! Is this possible? He said he had papers of authenticity from the Vatican...that these were on loan to him from the Vatican. He held them up and blessed the entire crowd with them. Has anybody heard of these relics? Especially the manger...how can that be? If true, we were very fortunate to be present for that blessing. My, what secrets the Vatican has stored away...

The conference was a great success, and we will be attending again next year. This was our 4th Medjugorje conference we have attended at Notre Dame. It is now a tradition for us. If anything happens, we plan to use the grotto and Basilica there as our safe haven, if we know of no other closer to us at the time. A piece of the Lourdes Grotto is embedded into the wall of this grotto, in case you didn't know that.

Take care all, and may our Mother bless you as you watch the recordings on MaryTV.

Thank you so much for all your postings, this a gift to us, thank you. There is something quite spectacular that is taking place, you were privileged to be where it was showered down this weekend. Our Lady is coming so close, especially through her latest message. All the hair on our arms should be standing straight up by now. We need to pray more, believe more, trust more, fast more. Commit every thing we possibly can to the Kingdom. It's time. The time of Grace is now, we need to take that to heart.

Great blessings - God is working powerfully, Praise God!!

Reminds me one time I took my wife to see Father Peter Mary Rookey in Swatragh county Derry [she was not as open as I was] but as soon as he placed his hand on her she went out like a light and was slain by the Spirit and received tremendous inner healings. The power of the Holy spirit took over that GAA Hall and there were so many beautiful healings most of them were interior healings, spiritual healings - many, many people need interior healing. I am convinced that Medjugorje is God's plan to reach the hearts of unbelievers, the broken, those shattered by family breakdown, the wounded, the hurt, those who suffer - the early secrets are not to be feared as I think they will be blessings - the warning is painful and frightening but people will know there is a God and whent they learn of the Miracles and Permanent Sighns to come will go in their millions to these places and receive tremendous inner healings - God wants to heal acheing mankind. But of course many stubborn people will not convert - and they will clearly have made their choice like the fallen angels they will have clear knowledge that there is a God and they have chosen to continue to live in mortal sin and will be like the demons. Hopefully, many many more will convert and turn to God.

    Hey Garabandal,
That is so great! Did I mention that Fr. Rookey was with our group on the March trip toMedjugorje? He is 93 now, and has been to Medj. 29 times. We stayed at Mirjana's. and people came there looking for him instead of her! Let me see if I can dig up a picture...that is me in the background, and that is Mirjana's dog, Mimi, receiving the day's "lesson"! LOL

He did bless me there also, but I didn't feel faint or anything at that time. My husband and I were fortunate to be able to accompany him to the Resurrected Jesus sculpture, he wanted to go there, and we did too, so we walked with him. He still walks ok, but is getting pretty slow these days and had to stop a lot to rest, but that was also an opportunity to talk to people, to bless them, or to tell one of his favorite jokes! We were very blessed to be able to spend time with this great and Holy man. Some in our group said they think he may be a saint one day!. (Hmmm, so if that happens, and your wife was touched by him, will that make her a second class relic? )

He still helps people and does healing services, or private prayers. He is living in the Chicago area now.

    Thats a really nice picture.
I may have been in Med the same time as you as I met him there last year.!!
I hope you have a eally grace filled visit with Our lady. I have read that Catherine Emmerich had a relic of a fragment of Our lady's cloak. Also the manger is in an underground shrine in Rome. I visited it one time and it was a most moving experience.
I have a little miracle to report my self from my vist to Knock. My friend saw Our lady there in the apprition chaple when we arrived. She saw Our lady looking at each person present. As it happens my friends sister has cancer and had been told that there was no more that could be done for her. They had found some spots on her liver. She has suffered for 6 years and has had extensive chemo. She was due a scan the following Wednesday. My friend went to the booth where you can place mass requests and the lady there was very friendly so she confided her sisters story to her. The lady gave her some earth and pebbles from the original site at Knock and said she will be fine.
She had her scan and the results are clear. The doctors are mystefied.
At this stage we are wondering who was the lady at the mass booth!!

I would love to go to Medj. again but not at the moment.
