The Jews committed genocide many, many times against many, many people in Scripture at the order of God check up on it.

God was never politically correct. Far from it.

He was never ever a nice God.

It is all about the heart. This is why Jesus says you heard it said you should not kill, but I am telling you that even if you are angry with your brother you will be subject to the judgement. Before the fall we did not know evil, only good. Now knowing evil, we constantly sow it. We even think it is normal or healthy. This is why Jesus calls us constantly to love. We don't become holy by committing evil.

This is really, really nice and loving and beautiful and loving and kind and nice.

But, sadly, it is not the Teaching of the Catholic Church, which teaches us that we can kill..and kill like crazy.

I know that many were attacked, and I would have to do more of an in-depth study to answer your question. What I can say is that even God himself, drove out peoples before the Israelites as they entered the promised land.

Continuous mass genocide. That's the way it was.

No it does not. Certain conditions must be met prior. That being said, killing doesn't produce saints.

It's certainly not ideal. But King David the ancestor of Jesus, which is prophised over and over and over again in Scripture that Jesus would come from the House of David.. was the worst killer in the entire bible.

Now , why would Jesus , the Prince of Peace, choose to come from the best genocidal killer, King David, in the entire bible. moreover David was told to mas slay from God,?

    Why not from peaceful folks?

I don't understand it completely, but many did worship and sacrifice to foreign gods, accumulating sin. Even when God wiped out mankind the first time, it was due to the accumulation sin. It appears that since Noah came off the ark, and man multiplied it had not remained devoted to God, which is evidenced by Sodom and Gomorrah.

David was a man after God's own Heart. So regardless of his sins, his heart was good. He tried his best to do the will of God. When he sinned he repented genuinely. Whereas all the subsequent kings after David with the exception of one had sinned greatly, without repentance.

Which people did King David commit genocide against?

King David always asked God what God wanted before He did it. In that He was type of Mary.

Before He committed genocide he asked God and and God told him to commit Genocide over and over again.

    Read your Bible.

Mass genocide, over and over again.
Read kings 1 and 2 and the Book of Chronicles

Where exactly, because the only thing I could find is where God said anything regarding any peoples is below. I never once have read anything regarding God calling David to commit genocide.
    1 Chronicles 14:10
so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?” The Lord answered him, “Go, I will deliver them into your hands

Was Jesus a pacifist? Because he didn't fight back physically. Were the original Christians pacifists? Because they didn't fight back physically either. Is following scripture pacifist?

Also, the main difference between Christianity and pacifism, is that pacifists believe they can change the world through non-violent means. Christians don't.

Murder is a far cry from defending oneself. One does not defend because one is angry, but because one loves. If someone is coming at me to kill me or my loved ones, I honestly do not believe it would be wrong to defend myself. Show me anywhere in scripture where it's said one is to lay over in such a situation. Murder out of revenge or for the sake of malice is not the same thing as what's being spoken of here.

    So:

You show me. We have been given access to virtues for a reason, righteous judgement is one of them.

Edited to add: The Swiss Guard are not stationed in the Vatican to kill anyone. They are there to defend if necessary.

Saints are created in God's time and for His purpose. They have the freewill to answer the call, or not. But His time, His way.

"Non nobis, Domine, non nobis...sed nomine tuo da Gloriam ~ This, imo, is the cry of saints in the making.

I never said it is wrong to defend oneself, it just doesn't make saints. Jesus never killed, the Apostles never killed. The church never advanced by the sword. There seems to be a conflation with what I am saying with some sort of apathetic docility, though I never once said anything of the like. We are called to overcome evil with good. This is the greatest form of action. Killing is rarely, if ever a good. Many many many saints died in horrible ways, never once resisting violently. Holding to love in ones heart while killing is virtually impossible.

As well, everyone is called to be a saint and has the potential to become one. Jesus showed and told us the way.
