I think our Pope and some Bishops and Priests will start saying what we need to hear when the tribulation kicks in full gear. Not only will they be saying what others (mostly lay people) have been saying for years now, but they will lead the charge and consecrate Russia as they have been told they would do. I think they know that people will not listen until the storm smacks them in the face. Why do I feel this way? Because it is the same with our family members and freinds who look at us like we have 3 heads when we dare speak of the tribulation headed our way. This is our time to pray, discern and plan for the moment we are called to witness to the truths we have been given.

The Synod in October when all the bishops are assembled would be the perfect opportunity to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart, please pray that it will be so!

Mark is faithful and true. But true prophecy, like a spring that gushes from the top of a mountain, must go through a host of obstacles and mud and sticks to make its way to the bottom to form a pure, clear pool. And we find then, that those obstacles did not impede the ministry, but purified it instead...they are the very things that make it so clear, beautiful and refreshing when it reaches the pool.

I think of Jesus, asking Peter after the resurrection, if he loved Him. Peter said yes three times, growing frustrated that Jesus kept asking. I have long thought that, if God has a special work for you, you must answer that question - by your actions and not just your words - even as temptations surround to pull you away from the sacrifice inherent in feeding the Master's lambs.

Mark has said yes, and yes again, and then yet again. He is an inspiration - and this lamb enjoys the feeding.

Yes MS7 a call to prayer for Mark and indeed everyone. Have been away called to walk for a time in the forest where the light is more a memory. Have visited often and enjoyed your heated chats lets not be afraid of passion thinking of St Paul's robust defence of the Gentiles. My heart confirms what so many are saying like Charlie Mark etc the storm is here. Have been thinking about the gift we have all been granted and probably many many others of seeing through the illusion the prince of this world has created. With this gift comes as you know a sense of being a foreigner even separate. Not cut off gathered in an elite group but called to gather as many as possible into the refuge of the Immaculate Heart. In my own prayer I have been inspired to bring to Jesus all the relationships of my whole life the past present and future and implore the gift of faith for each one. Like a rosary we are held indeed bound together - may the Mother of God our refuge bring us peace as we face the storm. Blessings.

True prophesy is only ever spoken by one who hangs upon a Cross. It is perhaps the greatest sign of veracity.

I often think of what Our Lady said to St Bernadette , 'I cannot promise in happiness in this life...' .

Prophecy not only finds its origin in the Cross but is watered by Crosses. Even to the point of death.

    Latest Mark Mallet post:

He gives a huge thumbs up to Medjugorje in the last paragraph, focusing on the latest message, July 25, where Our Lady speaks about the signs we have been given.

Another great great post, keep them coming Mark!!
It would be great if he was a regular poster here.

Mark says we would be lacking in humility if we said we thought Medugorje was true. Well I must be the proudest person in the wordl, for from the first moment I heard about it I believed in it and all the long years since 1981 have believed it with all my heart. I would rather have my nose fall off than call it 'alleged' .

Of course if the Vatican says it isn't so , fine. But saying it ain't so doesn't make it, 'it ain't so'. Either it's true or its false. Calling an elephant a gold fish doesn't make it a goldfish.

I'll always obey what the Vatican say, even though they're the ones who rubbished poor old St Padre Pio.

If the Vatican wants to hedge their bets on Medugorje by saying maybe it is and maybe it ain't , thats fine thats fine too,

But that won't change the sureness in my heart either. I would sooner believe that I had turned into a three legged chair than believe it wasn't true, or doubt it and even if I have no humility at all for saying so , I KNOW it's true with all my heart I do and I'll shout it from the roof tops so all the world can hear.

Yes, this latest from Mark Mallett is a great disappointment. The most problematic paragraph states:

So, am I declaring Medjugorje to be a true apparition? I have about as much authority to declare it true as its detractors do to declare it false. There is a stunning shortfall of humility in this regard, it seems. If the Vatican still remains open to the phenomenon, who am I to supercede their judgment after years of investigation, scientific experiments, interviews, and fielding testimonies? I think it is fair game for anyone to offer their opinion that this or that tree is bearing good or rotten fruit. But a certain humility is necessary either way when it comes to something of this stature:

An open judgement from the Vatican is actually no judgement at all. Those whose lives have been changed through Medjugorje have a duty to bear witness for Our Lady. It is perfectly understandable for the Vatican to remain 'open' but not for an individual who has been converted. I'm going to quote again the link to an article by the somewhat controversial 'Friend of Medjugorje' whose position is diametrically opposite to what Mark argues in his article:

I feel the same. Been there and from the moment I stepped off the bus the sense of peace in my heart and mind was from heaven. Still as an obedient servant of the Church then I will follow her directions whatever they are.

Listen to the excitement of my son in this video when the sun started to 'pulse' like a hearbeat just for us !! (or as my 11 year old son said 'Daddy look the sun is flashing;!)
Hard to believe it is 5 years since I have been there.

    In scripture it says:

    1 John 4:1-21

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

    It does not say:

    1 John 4:1-21
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but the Vatican alone will test the spirits for you to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this the Congregation of the Faith alone know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

This does not mean we should not be obedient to the Church, nevertheless scripture indicates that WE OURSELVES SHOULD INITIATE DISCERNMENT. We do not have to wait for a Vatican Press Release.

There is humility and then there is a false humility. If I know something to be true I should stand up and say so, if I know something to be false I should stand up and say it is false.

If the Vatican hedges their bets on this I will obey them, but I know they are wrong. Call it prudence if you like, I call it moral cowardice. I will obey them but I would think them very, very wrong.

The times are urgent ,we need great courage and speed not fence sitting.

The same thing is going on with the failure to Consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Again cowardice and fence sitting.

I might have to obey them , but I don't have to like it.

Fence sitters the lot of them.

Astonishing. I'd love to see come thing like that.

As an aside, like how you put a face to a radio presenter and then get it totally wrong, your accent is different to what I expected, if that makes any sense!!
