I tried pointing out the failed prediction of The Warning to R. Her response was, 'a few months can be any number of months, not necessarily less than a year.'

All the condemnations from Bishops and Archbishops mean nothing to her. They no longer trust the Church. All our arguments mean nothing. They are to be expected, she will say, as 'Jesus' has warned them through MDM that everyone will try to stop them following the messages. Well duh, next door's cat could have told her that.

It is increasingly cult-like. First, they were told not to debate with people who wanted to point out errors in the messages; next, not to try using reason, or apply reason, to the messages - hold on, I will try to get the exact quote.

My dearly beloved daughter, the pain of separation from Me, Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, is unknown to many, but when the day comes, when My Light will die towards the end, it will become clear how wretched the agony is.
Those who know Me and who love Me, know what the pain brings, when sin forms a barrier between the sinner and God.
Those who don’t know Me, and those who reject Me, will experience this separation during the final three days of darkness, when the Presence of God will be nowhere to be found.
It will only be when the Light of God disappears, that man will finally understand that there is no life without God. All that is left is a void, a wilderness and darkness.
I Am the Light, which man seeks out, unbeknown to him, every second of every day.
As man strives to find peace and happiness he will try to find it anywhere he thinks he can. He will use the pursuit of worldly material gain and lust of the flesh to satisfy needs, which can never be met and he will follow false religions, which promise great personal satisfaction. None of these things will bring him into the Light of God.
Even those who seek answers, through intellectual means and knowledge, will never find the peace or the answers they seek, unless they open their hearts to the True Love of God.
I come to each of those who seek Me out. I delight in souls whose eager simplicity seeks only My Love. I shower such people with the Gift of the Holy Spirit. To come closer to Me you must trust Me completely. It is only when you abandon your will to Mine, that My Presence can be felt. To those people who try to find Me, but who find it difficult, I say this to them.
Do not try to reason with the mind when trying to justify My Existence, for I Am not of this world. Do not blind yourself to the existence of eternal life. It awaits you, if you could only trust Me and let Me come into your heart and soul. I will make Myself known to you. All you must do is call Me. You must call out to Me soon, for when My Presence on the earth dwindles, it will be impossible for you to seek Me out and you will wander in helpless anguish trying to find Me.
Those who think that they are strong in their faith and who believe they are close to Me, must know how quickly they will fall when I Am nowhere to be found in the tabernacles of the future. Once that terrible day of desolation comes, there will be cries of despair and the power of the beast will be such that many souls will be too weak to uphold My Holy Word.
You must ask for My help and you will be given it. Call Me with a humble spirit and I will answer you. Beg Me to protect you and I will cover you with My Precious Blood, so that nothing will stop you on the path of Truth, which leads to eternal salvation.
Serve Me by your own interpretation, as to how I should be served, and you will need to be careful. Do as I have told you. Live your life according to My Word and I will carry you. Dishonour Me by using My Holy Word in a way which brings suffering to others, and you will suffer the greatest pain of separation from Me.

I see the message also states that Jesus will no longer be present in the tabernacles.

I've been thinking about why anyone would follow this stuff. I can only say what I know about R. She says she finds the messages reassuring!

But I think I get it. She started from a position of believing we live in the time of the Second Coming. She believed this would also be preceded by terrible suffering - wars, diseases, persecution, natural disasters etc. In this she is like many faithful Catholics. Many of us here believe it is at least possible we are heading into such times. How could Satan grab himself a bunch of such Catholics, loyal to the Church - how are they to be led astray?

Through fear.

Fear for yourself, fear for your families. We want to protect ourselves and our own. It is natural. But fear never comes from God.


MDM holds out a nice shiny insurance policy. Follow these messages and you will be protected during the times ahead. The Crusade prayers, The Seal of the Living God (reminded of Christina, anyone?), total obedience to the messages. The coming chastisements won't touch you and your's.

Claptrap, all of it. But that's the selling point - play on people's fears. The rest is easy. Tell them your current Pope is the last one and whoever comes after is not a Pope. Bingo, you are cut off from the Church. After that, why should MDM have to submit messages for church approval? Tell them not to bother with Confession any more. Hold on - need another exact quote.

My dearly beloved daughter, you must know that all sinners, especially those who have done terrible things, must come to Me. I crave their attention and I want to bring them into My Heart, for I love them. They will be forgiven immediately if they would pluck up the courage and call upon Me to help them out of their misery. They must never fear Me, for I Am Ever-Merciful. They are closer to Me than those who profess to represent Me on Earth, but who are hypocrites, just as the Pharisees were.
Give Me your hand. No matter what deeds you have done, I will alight upon you. My Prayer, given to you now, will bring you into My Heart and I will reside in you and you will be saved.

Next, tell them Jesus is no longer present in The Blessed Sacrament - see May 5th message above. Bingo, you are cut off from the Sacraments. Job done.

Our prayers are needed.

 

Of course, I see that the message urges not to use reason to justify God's existence, rather than to try and understand the messages, but there is among MDM followers a general spirit of closing themselves off to argument, debate, criticism and reason which is very unhealthy.

I think I read somewhere about St John of the Cross' writings on the subject of spiritual gluttony, and a desire for prophecies and the like. I know I am guilty of this. We all want to know what the future holds, what's the latest in the prophecies for these strange times. Now I see the danger of this. We must be very, very careful.

 

Padraig, some of my friends have a facebook page called "Exposing MDM" ,and after a few posts pointing out any irregularities, they are kicked off the MDM page. More troublesome is the upcoming MDM , "Book of Truth Seminars" they are promoting, by harvesting names from facebook.

 

I wonder how many books they have actually sold? They have about 19000 likes on FB. Impressive, but hardly enough to take the Church down...

 

I going to stand outside the venue in NYC and say what I feel needs to be said.

 

You need to hold a big sign that says, "What part of ONE Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church don't you understand?"

 

or "2000 years of the Holy Spirit (Catholic Church) verses MDM Cult"

 

My sign says: " My seer Jesus, never wrongly predicted 3 prophecies in a year's time, how about yours ? "

Weird that about the IP addresses. I always wondered at all this being so highly professional .I estimate her website is drawing around 200,000 hits a day.

LOL, impossible my friend. My friends call me " the Blessed Mother's " pitbull ", ( I've been called worse, much worse,.) Anyhow, I see confrontation as an Invitation, I stand up for what I believe in.

I am sorry I deleted Maria's membership. As far as I remember now it was at her own request.

I am not sure of saints standing up for themselves. As far as I remember St Brigid was not a lady I would like to have gotten on the wrong side off. She was an Irish Princess and in those days people like her more or less told there Bishops were to get off. In other words the Bishop was a servant of the Monastery and Brigid was the Abbess.

I read a lovely story about her bad temper in the Divine Office for her saint's day. There was a famine in the district and St Brigid and her nuns had nothing to eat so they headed off across country to a monastery to get something to eat. The monks felt so sorry for them and cooked a steer over a fire for them. Off course as soon as it was served Brigid and the other nuns piled on.

Now a small group of nuns did not get stuck in and stared down their noses at Brigid and the rest distainfully for it was Lent and they should not have been eating meat.

Brigid saw this and lost the rag. She pointed out to the proud nuns that it was lawful to eat meat when you were just about dying on your feet and that King David allowed his followers to eat the sacrificial offering when they starving.St Brigid said the false nuns would rather eat the meat of pride than the good meat set before them.

I can imagine the proud nuns wilting under Brigid's tongue.

St Catherine of Siena got a letter from a Cardinal one time complaining she did not treat him with respect. She wrote right back and told him she would treat him with respect when he acted in a way that deserved it.

Of course it's a case of horses for courses. There a time and a place for opening the mouth and a time and a place for keeping it shut. But it doesn't, I think, have to be shut all the time.
