Just wanted to post a Happy Birthday message to Mama Mary- we love you! I just watched Maria di Nazaret on Netflix and it was a wonderful depiction of our Mother- humble, strong, faithful, loving, kind, steadfast in her faith, her heart intertwined with our Lords, - I could go on and on Watch if you can!
The Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady 'disappears' from the liturgical calendar when it falls on a Sunday, but it's still Her Birthday and some might have forgotten. This site is dedicated to our loving Queen so if you haven't yet given Her birthday greetings, here's a reminder.
I was today in a little Orthodox chapel, tsasouna, celebrating Her feast day with liturgy and RITE OF BLESSING AND SPRINKLING HOLY WATER. The chapel was small but with beautiful icons and we were few, but I'm sure She was there with us, the little ones, who from the bottom of our heart wanted to venerate Her... There was an icon of St. Joachim and Hannah, too.
I just watched these films over the past 2 days. They were wonderful!!! Went through pretty much all of the mysteries of the rosary and her 7 sorrows. I am trying to find an english version on line to post in here. I reccomend everyone watch these films. They will bring so much joy to your heart as they did mine!
