I don't think the Pope really cares who the AC is...His primary goal is to save souls. I don't think it would do Him any good to find out. If God wants Him to know He will tell him.

We kinda get way too excited about it. God will guide us when the time is right. And if we are spiritually ready, the AC won't be able to hide from us.

  2. And it just may be that the AC won't come on to the big scene until after the demise of the Pope. That may be why Francis takes the approach that he does in warning about just "who" is behind wars and cultural "colonization"....and offering now a certain kind of comparison for people to become acquainted with in the book he's offered to take up and read, "Lord of the World".

Finally got around to reading this book and it's amazing that it was written so long ago- it's as if he was writing it about our very time today. I guess my take away is that who knows when the AC is coming, what was important to me was our response- trust in God. Without giving away the ending to those who have not read it yet, I was moved on how the Pope and the few believers left relied completely upon God and had surrendered all to him. Maybe this is what motivates Francis and why he recommended the book. Yes, there are do many things he says and does that appear from a worldly perspective crazy, but maybe it's his complete trust and believe that it's all in God's hands.
