I think Glen's recent post on his Mystics of the Church site is interesting for sure.......This is more believable to me than "he is so busy" that he had to remove himself from the site. Of course who is commenting on the locutions would be in the obvious next question if not Mon. Essef.

****UPDATE TO THE ARTICLE ABOVE:
I have privately received information from one reliable source who told me that Monsignor Essef disassociated himself with the alleged locutionist of "Locutions to the World" almost a year ago, even using a lawyer to have his name and picture removed from the Locutions.org website. So his current position and affiliation in regards to this locutionist is not clear to this writer at this time.

Actually there was another website that was using his name with all kinds of error of facts re: this private revelation....at some point describing him as the locutionist himself, etc. I believe the lawyer was necessary in order to have the erroneous info removed....esp. since people were associating Monsignor with Mother Theresa while her cause is being studied and he didn't need misinformation about him with a private revelation going forth. Thus it is better that his name stop inviting other errors. It is already known that the locutions, from the beginning, only went forth to the public with his permission....as requested, allegedly, by the Blessed Mother. But it is also true that with his name constantly the only one visible it was inviting all kinds of questions and curiosities about which he did not have the time to deal with nor should he. It does not mean that he has disassociated himself from the locutionist whom he has directed for years not that he is in any way not approving the messages. He is away from his office for lengths of time anyway. It is stated, still, that no one has to accept private revelations if they have any misgivings so why all the pointed conspiracy theories??

Pope Francis’ address to the US Congress today is eating up most of the media bandwidth. But for the US economy, a far more important speechwill be delivered later this afternoon at the University of Massachusetts Amherst by Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen.

While that may sound like something of a non sequitur, its not too much of a stretch to find some sort of a link between the structure of the Catholic church and the world’s most powerful central bank. In William Greider’s terrific and under-appreciated book on the Fed,Secrets of the Temple, a former official from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston had this to say. ..........

......Today the markets are registering even deeper doubts about the Fed’s ability to generate the inflation the central bank wants to see. Market measures of inflation expectations—known as breakevens—are hitting their lowest levels in more than half a decade. Today (Sept. 24), the five-year breakeven rate is roughly 1.11%, meaning that investors expect inflation to average roughly 1.11% over the next five years, far below the Fed’s 2% target.

Funny, i read Saint Mother Theresa biography and three spiritual directors are mentioned but never Msgr. Essef...and also it was very hard for her to find spiritual directors she could be open too. But the ones she did are mentioned in biography.

Not to say Msgr. Essef is not holy but you guys base his holiness on Mother Theresa.

I'd looked for them by now -- there are five days of them sitting out there somewhere...

Which looks like they must have to wait for someone to approve them.

I've never seen them published on a weekend, so if they're not posted by tomorrow, it'll probably be next week.

Stocks close lower for third day as investor confidence wanes

Well, "D-day" (Do or Die) comes down tomorrow for the LTTW messages to receive life or death. It will be known by 4:00 EST. It will be the last day the stock market is open while Pope Francis is in the US.

 

Not sure who the list of 3 spiritual directors wWellere, but if Father John Hardon SJ was not one of them then it is not complete.

 

Did anybody say it had to occur while the Stock Market was open? Seems likely, but I didn't see it spelled out.

No, but that would seem neceasary to colapse the economy, unless another event takes place, such as a nuclear strike, a comet strike or something grand enough to collapse the world economies upon its arrival.

 

I see on Amazon the latest book of the Locutions to the World volume 5 is for sale. It goes from Jan. 1, 2015 to September 7, 2015. That would include the message about the collapse of the economy from Sept. 3, 2015. The description mentions that the person receiving the locutions is under the direction of a Catholic priest.

"This is the fifth in a series of volumes collecting Locutions to the World given by Jesus and Mary to a soul under spiritual direction by a Roman Catholic priest. Beginning on December 10, 2010, locutions were received that were meant to be told to the whole world. Volume 5 covers the period from January 1, 2015 to September 7, 2015."

 

Obama meets today with Chinas president and Putin on Monday

 

We do live in interesting times. I am going to dedicate my rosary today for the safety of Pope Francis and for President Obama. He needs our prayers. I don't agree with his policies and did not vote for him, but I want our Lord to give him graces to go to heaven.

Why do visionaries describe different visual details of the same event?


Why do various mystics see the same event differently?

And apparitions/visions are of a higher level for belief than locutions. Still....all are a rich part of Church history even with the various discrepancies.

Since three weeks I've had a strong feeling that a collapse will really occur this Friday, and I still believe so. Hopefully I'll be wrong, but we all know that, sooner or later, it will come anyway.

P.S.: this Friday I would stay away from trains and subways, just to be sure.

Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen gave a scare Thursday while giving a speech on monetary policy and inflation at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Near the end of her prepared remarks, Yellen appeared to be experiencing some physical discomfort. She paused several times to cough before saying she would stop.

"f the economy surprises us, our judgments about appropriate monetary policy will change," she said. "Let me stop there. Thank you."
