FS, I doubt a lot of private revalation like you( I believe you do). Before I came to the MOG forum I was a believer in LTTW. I found tem in January of this year. I believed, then I was a skeptic then a doubter! But in the back of my mind ive always ad the thought/memory of my phone conversation with Msgr Esseff. Before I knew who he was in relation to LTTW, I listened to 2 interviews with him on our local Benedictine radio( which is very Traditional) and was very impressed by Msgrs talk/interview.
I say this because even tho ive had doubts on LTTW, I cant passby Msgrs' approval of this coming week message.
I see no harm in a little prep, I bought a few things I normally use so no biggie if the ship sails straight..lol If nothing happens, Thanks be to God! But if it does, well we maybe ahead of the panic cycle that may insue. Keep us out of the frey to figure wat to do. We all need to pray on it for sure.
I probably didn't change your mind FS, but a little precaution never hurts anyone... and when you do, Crewdog will send you some pork N beans...Gunny style!

Most I know who are shifting around assets to cash have never heard of LTTW....they either watch regular economic forecasts or have some type of mentor. The problem with them is that some have no other plan for when the bottom falls away and will probably be lost, hoping for some human rescue when that is no longer feasible.

A personal expectation a priori is certainly a new interpretation of openness to the Spirit.

I'm in the watch brigade like everyone else! The news I am seeing though puts us at the 3rd sorrowful mystery....crowning with thorns, with attacks from all sides against the head, Pope Francis. I don't think it's really about the person himself but about papal authority....and you know who is the real instigator of that. Yes, the lines are now drawn....clear division in this war between heaven and hell. And to my mind some of the instigators in these attacks aren't the usual suspects

 

Actually history shows sainthood does relate to all these things and the rest and I have no idea what your attitude to LTTW is. Whatever it is it is no better or worse than anyone else and it's yours. You seem a genuine bloke. Thanks for sharing.

 

In my humble opinion, the collapse will really occur this Friday. I've felt it for weeks.

 

Once a week we meet in the church foyer in front of the statue of Lady of Akita to say the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows. I will remember everyone on this forum tonight. (It's Tuesday night here in New Zealand). Tomorrow it's the feast of St Padre Pio. I will drive over to Hamilton for 6.30 a.m. mass and again remember all forum members especially because of Padre Pio's connection with LTTW. Of course he is connected with Garabandal too. It's a bit frustrating. My church is literally across the road from my house but because of mass times I have to drive for 30 minute to another town. Just something else for the Holy Souls Knowing my luck I will win the lottery tomorrow and the economy will collapse at the weekend and it won't be worth anything. God makes me laugh.

As they say....the roller coaster continues. Just this morning. So what will be that particular "lynchpin"?:

Dow plunges triple digits; materials lag

U.S. stocks traded sharply lower Tuesday, pressured by continued anxiety over slowing global growth following the Federal Reserve's decision to keep rates unchanged.

....There's a "confluence of negative inputs here taking us close to technical levels in the S&P 500 that we don't want to breach," said Art Hogan, chief market strategist at Wunderlich Securities. The first level he's watching is 1,924.

......Dow futures plunged more than 275 points in pre-market trade, weighed by sharp declines in European stocks. The DAX was off more than 3 percent in bear market territory, more than 22 percent below its 52-week high. Volkswagen continued to plunge following the news of an emissions scandal.

"Before they told us the selling started in China, now (that's) shifted to Europe ore here and that shows you overall the market's getting weaker," said Adam Sarhan, CEO of Sarhan Capital.

He's watching to see if the S&P 500 can hold its Aug. 24 low of 1,867.

I'm sure many of you have noticed how the first readings of the Office of the Day and the Readings of the day are coming to a confluence point around the first destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. One comes at it as it is about to happen and one after it has happened and what the cleansed people of Israel are to do to rebuild. This is powerful stuff. I would like to hear other opinions on this if anyone has them.

Ed I was struck by the readings for this Sunday. If these vents do take place, they speak directly to what would have just happened.
1st readings speak of prophecy and not despising it, Psalm speaks of the value of following Gods laws, 2nd reading speaks of loosing all your worldly riches and good life and the injustice committed to attain it. The Gospel is the scripture stating its better to loose the things that cause you to sin than to loose your soul in hell.

As someone who has been in the field of markets my career of 18 years now as an investment advisor, it is rare that markets collapse all in one day. It does happen but typically it is a beginning and not all at once. The only way I could see it happen all at once would be a currency collapse and bank freeze and market shut down for a week. Then when they reopen that is when the dust settles but in the meantime we will be without access to any assets. If this is going to occur this week, you will see the signs of it in the commodity markets first. It is hard to keep these things quiet and the people in the know will act first. You would also see many bearish increases in the number of put options being purchased or calls being sold as well as a number of short sells lining up. We are not seeing any of these signs yet. Gold is down 14.4% ytd and still dropping more recently as the market is dropping. You can definitely say the market is setting up though as it has dropped nearly 9% in the past 2 months so we could be in the beginnings. It could happen. There could be some major bad news to come but it would have to be a major major drop in some key economic data, or currency change, or geopolitical problem like bombs going off in Russia, the US, the middle east, etc.

The morning TVshow that flows to the radio show talked about Brazil is on the verge of Financial collapse. Brazilian commodities are so low they were saying how Mexico is one to watch for its very linked to Brazil and also Italy...

 

Andy, I believe one of the messages that speaks of the collapse ( I have to find which recent one it is ) speaks of financial collapse that's an unforeseen way.... time will tell us soon for sure as the DOW is -241 right now

My old accountant was at Rosary with us last night and when I told him about the LTTW prediction he said "It's gotta happen" He also thought it more likely to happen as you describe. He did not think my cash withdrawal was necessary as he thinks things won't affect us here in NZ immediately. I am still, however, happy with my decision. LTTW also says the collapse is just the beginning. We all prayed for Pope Francis in America. If the collapse is total and sudden it will be all the more remarkable. Thanks for your expertise.
