  1. So? I don't see him disavowing himself from them. Its common knowledge that he is the spiritual director. If you look at his website calendar, he is a very, very busy man for a guy in his 80's!
    He is not obliged to answer anyone's questions regarding the visionary or the messages. They stand on their own I think. I don't go asking Bishop's what conversations they have had with visionaries unless they share with me first. I know his face was on with his bio at first, but I believe it was taken down because he kept getting so many phone calls at his parish. As a Church Secretary, THAT can be a pain!

  2. I think if you review the very beginning of these locutions you'll find that the locutionist was told that this section of locutions meant or asked to go public (prior to that they were intended to be private or to the prayer group alone) were only to do so IF Msgr Esseff allowed that. Therefore if there was any change in that authoritative permission it would be Msgr Esseff to halt them from going forth. This was stipulated, allegedly, by the Blessed Mother. Since this is her pre-requisite, if she knew that Msgr Esseff is now objecting to this, they would not continue to be permitted for the public. And, as also stated from the beginning, people are permitted to discern them, and decide what weight to give them if any since they are private revelations. Spiritual directors do that all the time when it comes to some personal revelation given to someone under direction wishing to know if could be permitted to be revealed to the public.

    I sometimes think that our pope is trying to open channels for those who have left the faith to come back NOW because of the storm. He might be trying to get as many in as possible before it's too late. His words are confusing to a lot of us.....perhaps his motives are as simple as extending mercy to the sinners....in his way. Dear God, I hope he can bring them into repentance and then into communion....how awesome!

  4. I think that's exactly what he is doing...casting the nets wide to see who can still be saved so why he's is offering greater incentives of mercy and forgiveness....at least more accessible. It's explained well in Mark Mallett's latest:

    Dear Harper,
    Remember when Indiana Jones had to take his step of faith across the unseen land bridge on his quest for the Holy Grail. That is where we all are right now. There is no getting around it. No one here reading this or not reading this will know for sure. This too was foretold. We can choose to believe or not believe but until we take that step, we will not know. Next week, we will know and maybe alot more. I guess we have to "choose wisely". Peace. Ed

    Thanks for sharing that earthtoangels. Pope Francis has left me perplexed at times but this article gives me a better understanding of his ways.

    I've been cautiously following the locutions for a few years now. They've struck me as authentic on many fronts but left me puzzled on others. I've secured some income in cash and I'll make sure I have a good supply of food and supplies on hand as a precaution. I'm taken back by how definitive and detailed the predictions of the crash are. If these are the product of someones imagination then they've left themselves no wiggle room here. If next week pans out as stated any doubts I've had will vanish. If it doesn't happen I'll be able to dismiss these messages entirely once and for all. I've been hesitant to share these messages with friends since not all are on the same page spiritually. Don't want to be the crazy Y2K end of the world brother/uncle that woke up on Jan. 1 2000 looking rather foolish. If things go as prophesied I feel I'll have no hesitation to share the messages.

    Thanks for the kudos KF but I am no expert. The weather will tell us things are underway. Duct tape and garbage bags sound good to me. That should keep out the outside world for 3 days. No light whatsoever should get through. Holy water, blessed beeswax candles, matches, rosary, crucifix, food and water, bible. Pray the rosary constantly. Nothing will burn except the candles. These will not light for scoffers. Buckets with a lid and bleach or disinfectant - or a small chemical toilet from an out door shop. Facilities may not work. Hand sanitiser may help. Pillows and a blanket but I doubt sleep will be possible. Don't leave the room and on no account let anyone in after the battle has started even if it sounds like a loved one. Hope this helps. I have always thought the three days of darkness were a long way off. But who knows. I have my provisions at hand.

    One thing seems apparent and that is, after the nets have been set wide, the carp that slipped into the net will have to be thrown out, as the stinking will spoil the good fish. The Holy Father will have to be this person to do this at some point. Once the carp think that the net will hold those who mock the Church and that the Church has changed its doctrines he will have to requalify the Churches unchanging teachings on sodomy, gay marriage, divorce and remarriage, co-habitation, masturbation, adultery etc.. The net that the Pope is laying wide in the mercy of God will need to at some point, when all the fish are caught, be opened to the truth and the carp will need to realize that they are not going to be the delight of the meal that God has intended for all the other good fish that landed in the net who be at the banquet of Truth, who is God.

    Agree with you on this. And I think Mark Mallet's latest post touches in thus very point. He recalls the parable where the King is having a feast but none of the invited guests show up. So he tells his servants to go out and invite EVERYONE to the feast. So all sorts of people come but some are not properly attired and when the King arrives at the Feast he looks at these not properly attired and tells them to leave. Is this not exactly what Pope Francis is doing? He is inviting all to the feast and many who typically might not respond or who feel unworthy are saying yes. But, they need to then look around and see they are not properly attired and "change" their attire. Of course this is not about physical attire, but their internal, spiritual attire. Hopefully through the mercy of the Church and Jesus, they will change. Many of us here on this forum may have long ago accepted the invitation, but I know for myself, I need to check "my attire" often- as my sins can easily "soil" me. In all humility, should we be spending our time questioning who is being invited and if they are well attired or should we be looking at our win attire? And if by the grace of God we are well attired , should we perhaps be helping our less well attired brothers and sisters?

    Ed,

    I certainly believe we are heading into a great crisis or more. That is not the same as giving credence to locutions specifically. I have asked questions about the role of the priest touted as its adviser. Msgr. Esseff has taken his name off the website and made no public statements about the locutions since 2010. It is a fair inference that he is not actively involved at present. (I do understand the role of spiritual director, by the way.) It is also fair to wonder if the diocese of Scranton and its Bishop Bambera are aware of what is going on.

  13. And Jesus did this (teaching of the truth) of course after the invitation. He didn't announce all the barriers or proper dress standards beforehand obviously. Once people are introduced to the great Mercy that in itself is what is an inducement for change....to clean up. Those apparently who were aware already of what gifts are always offered and made assumptions that they could just relax in their "safety zones", legalists perhaps, contented in their assumption that they were already accepted, and thus saved, no longer appeared to appreciate the pearls of great price and decided to find "entertainment" elsewhere. And of course no one knows just how many of the second group of invitees off the streets also decided the desired "clean up" was too much and left. That is left to their individual free wills. And even though many will still persist in their established ways even after the Illumination of Conscience/Warning, everyone will still be included in that great act of Mercy. So in this limited time of Mercy left before Judgement begins Pope Francis is "going out to the periphery" to see just how many are still savable. I think it's wrong to assume that anything that gets originally "scooped up" with the gesture of offering will remain at all costs. That would deny the reality of individual free will. It could be seen as a last offering/preparation/cooperation in this time of "unfathomable Divine Mercy" before the coming Warning so that the graces offered at that time will be better prepared for and thus not as easy to reject by at least some who were on the road of hardening their hearts to the extent, by their own free wills, they became "un-savable".

  14. The locutions could not continue if Msgr Esseff has decided against their continuing public distribution. That was the condition for them to be presented to the public in the first place: his okay....allegedly by our Lady to the locutionist. The locutionist whom I understand is a nun....a very holy woman I'm told.....has been under respected spiritual direction by Msgr Esseff for years, with private locutions, would suddenly appear to be some kind of rebellious individual if she would persist with such public production against her long time director's advice and thus our Lady's original instructions. And, if authentic, our Lady herself would have to end them for the public if her original demand was no longer being followed. In other circumstances of private revelations the Blessed Mother has asked other various locutionists/seers to respect their authorities' orders and keep continuing messages that should go public private.

    ETO,

    We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks. I have always admired your catholic spirituality and thoughtful responses to my critiques.

    A question: the Blessed Mother appears to condemn the "Iranian peace deal" while, at the same time, our pope is singing its praise. What gives there? Just another papal mistake?

    Remember even if all of the things predicted by "LTTW" for next week happen, it doesn't prove these messages are from God. It would be a strong proof that they are not just coming out of the locutionists imagination though. The devil is able to make short term "prophecies" just like we are except he is much better at it. If I see a car heading toward a wall at 150 mph I can predict the car will hit it even though the event has not happened yet. This does not make me psychic, only good at putting the information available to me together in a logical way. Similarly the devil, who has the words and actions of every person on the planet available to him can put these together to make short term educated guesses. It is longer term "prophecies" he has much more trouble with. So if the locutionist said these things were going to happen on these dates five years ago it would have much more credence.

  17. When Msgr. Esseff called me last year he was very much in the swing of things with the locutions. Working very hard to get the messages distributed like our Lady asked and do his job as a priest/mentor to many. He speaks at many Conferences all over U.S. and Canada also. Anyone see him give talks?

    Mother S, I am (somewhat) sorry to hear Msgr. Esseff is "very much in the swing of things" with locutions. I will revisit this thread when the Pope leaves on Sept. 27.

    I cannot say that the economic collapse is distant when really it is near, or that it will be short when really it will be long, or that it will be easy, when really it will be quite difficult. Only truth gives the light needed for hope. So, I will now speak words of truth.....The collapse will not come before Pope Francis comes to America but it will happen while he is in America. I deliberately brought the Pope to America, the world’s financial center, to be here when it takes place. .... I want him to be present. His presence in America will be my sign that the Church is very important in saving mankind from its own follies. Toward the end of his trip, he will have to shift his message and address the new world situation. In this way, I will begin to exalt the Church as a beacon of light in the darkness.

    The above alleged message for Sept 3 leaves NO ROOM for equivocation. If a tremendous economic collapse does not happen next week while the Pope is here, then these messages are false and all should abandon this site forever....there is nothing more sinister than a false prophet, says the Bible. The Pope departs from America on Sept 28 I believe, the blood moon day and Feast of Tabernacles. The message hints that it will happen towards the end of his trip next week, so we will see, or not see.

    God bless you.

  20. I was just trying to answer that question to someone yesterday (a Protestant who doesn't like what he is seeing in Pope Francis), so let me post here what I showed him -- these are excerpts from recent LttW, and I think offer a sensible response to the hard question that we must all be asking: what to make of this pope's perplexing works so far?

    * * *

    I want to speak of Pope Francis whom I have raised to the Chair of Peter. Each pope brings his own personality. However, each day, graces pour into the popes to lead them in a definite direction. Each pope brings his personal thoughts but these are quickly subjected to the Holy Spirit’s purpose in raising him to the papacy. I want to highlight these gifts and put them in the context of what the future holds.

    I have been bringing forth popes with great charisms who have captivated the minds and hearts of so many. Pope Francis is certainly one of these. His greatest gift is to win over hearts, to help people to see the Catholic Church in a new light. This has been his role up to now.

    These two gifts flow from his personality and from deeply held convictions. They are not superficial nor the result of overnight thinking. He knows this path and he knows how he wants to have the Church reach out.

    As great as these are, they are not the special, unique gift of his papacy. They are gifts which flow from below. The greatest gift will flow from above.

    After the event, my heavenly purpose in choosing him will begin to come to the foreground. This event will be definitive. New papal graces will pour out and I will lead him on a new search to discover the Church’s role in this new situation.

    After this event, there will be no turning back. Heaven’s powers will be released. The battle will begin because war has been openly declared.

    The events in September will bring all to a head, a culmination of many weaknesses that breaks out, like a pot that finally boils over for all to see.

    * * *
    My interpretation, including bits from other messages: Pope Francis brings to the Church what he knows from his lifetime experience in his Latin American background, and mercy and goodness of heart is what that is all about -- his personal gift.

    It's a good thing, but the papacy is new to him and he has a lot to learn -- he has not been perfect in all areas, and even though it seems he has been (entirely) missing the target sometimes, it will all come together for the good.

    The Holy Spirit will increasingly guide him, and this upcoming visible "event" of great importance will open the doors to the revealing of the Holy Spirit's will, through Francis. New papal graces, new search, new situation. A new, greater gift, will flow from above.

    And we must pray our support for that.

    * * *
    As for everything else... I am a realistic person, but I can't understand the overabundance of skepticism here for the Locutions, it's like most go out of their way to want them to be NOT valid. ?

    They have as good support for them as anything we are likely to find, and while I have seen a couple of eyebrow raisers in them (I have), I'm just not able to see satan wanting the Catholic Church to be "lifted up as a beacon to the world". I have seen nothing to show satan in them. It could happen, but I have not seen any sign of that yet.

    I have cancelled part of my trip away from home next week, so that I will be home to watch the Pope's visit -- and be on top of whatever else might occur. If nukes and collapse don't happen, I'm a happy camper. For now.

    I know the Storm is coming, regardless. And I have to say, these LttW have seemed to have quite the Heavenly handle on them, and I find their promises comforting, as hard as it all is.
