Locutions to the World

Someone asked me, where does Jesus say in Scripture, Jerusalem will be struck in the end times? Aren't there a few verses in Zachariah but what about the Gospel?

 

Sometimes Scripture refer to two time periods of God. Here are verses concerning Jerusalem being struck in the Old Testament.

Zachariah 12:2-3
Behold I will make Jerusalem a lintel of surfeiting to all the people round about: and Juda also shall be in the siege against Jerusalem. [3] And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone to all people: all that shall lift it up shall be rent and torn, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall be gathered together against her.

Zachariah 14:2
And I will gather all nations to Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken, and the houses shall be rifled, and the women shall be defiled: and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rest of the people shall not be taken away out of the city.

 

From Verne Dagenais messages: Read Luke 21:20-24 and Luke 23:28-30. Jesus prophesied the destruction of the temple and the dispersion of the Jewish nation for rejecting the Son of God. This was fulfilled with the fall of Jerusalem in 70A.D. under the Roman General Titus.

So, do the above verses refer to these end times too because of the multiple messages at Locutions.org about a Pope being martyred in Jerusalem, the holy Father going there because of a great devastation?

Peter, I am glad you brought this up. Lord knows I have read a lot of messages through the years and been around a few souls that have received messages. You are theologically trained, I am not, so please forgive me for being wordy. I understand exactly what you are saying regarding the use of hieratic quality of language. Our Lady is not wordy....I have read Gobbi, Piccaretta and Faustina. I agree that John Leary's messages delve into details that are easily gotten off the internet and part of his own subjectivity.
Within the messages of LTTW I see a real transformation of the language. The first two books that were the 365 days of messages are more formal. As time has gone on I see more detail and more familiarity. Could this be what Cardinal Razinger spoke about (that Mark Mallett wrote about recently)--

All in all, a 'We will see' is in order here regarding the LTTW messages. What do you think? As more and more people are receiving promptings from the Holy Spirit, I know finding a good spiritual director is essential. I hope Msgr. Esseff is up to the task regarding these messages. A lot of people are paying attention to them.

 

The legitimacy of these messages will soon be plain to see. Last year the messages indicated that Mary would do something this year to reclaim the date of Sept. 11. Not sure what that was supposed to be but we'll see. Also this year we are to see an economic collapse by Fall.

 

Turned on our Catholic EWTN radio station in the car the other day just in time to hear Jeanette Bankovich say that she reads LTTW messages and finds them edifying...! A caller had called and asked if she had ever heard of Msgr. Esseff and the messages. Good to hear!

 

No, on September 2014, 5th Locutions stated that terrorists reclaimed the date of 9/11 because they saw it as a symbol of their victory.
On September 2014, 11th, the Virgin allegedly stated that she wants to reclaim that day, not that she'll be successful in doing that.

 

As I have said elsewhere, I no longer read the LTTW messages; initially I did follow them as I found them credible at the outset, but I now find them largely 'out-of-sync' with the general prophetic consensus that I believe can be rationally discerned through responsible and prayerful comparative reading of the sources in various languages that have attracted the most attention from priests and specialists in mystical theology. I don't find anything in LTTW that bears the unmistakable mark of the supernatural, i.e. that couldn't be generated by some background knowledge of the literature and consultation of alternative media websites. In this respect there is a qualitative difference between this material and, say, 'God Speaks Will You Listen' as received by our own Verne Dagenais, for whose theologically dense content I have no human explanation. There may well be much truth in the LTTW messages, but because it very much looks to be derivative of other sources, the unfolding of events along lines 'predicted' by LTTW cannot by itself be taken as any kind of proof of their authenticity.

What would be really helpful is if Msgr Esseff - whom we of course all respect - would be prepared to respond in detail to concerned critics who are less than convinced as to the authenticity of these alleged locutions. I know that this is probably asking too much, but on the other hand the attention that LTTW (as opposed to a whole host of other purported locutionaries out there) has attracted does largely seem to be a matter of his support, so like it or not there is an issue of accountability here.

They were dated January 16, 2013 through January 18, 2013. When Pope Benedict resigned on February 28, 2013 I was very shocked and started reading the messages more carefully.

 

I was drawn to the messages for themselves and still am due to the obvious graces of knowing our Mother is aware of all of the diabolical reality surrounding her children these days where there is no human help available for the degree of evil witnessed and causing discouragement. And others with whom I've discussed them are drawn to them as well for themselves. And many of them had no idea that Msgr Esseff has been the spiritual director of the locutionist nor did they even know just who Msgr Esseff was! And one person, a lay Franciscan acquaintance who already was rather fascinated by the locutions became excited all the more when he was later told that Msgr Esseff had introduced them for the public. But that fact only came as secondary to the first. I think that if someone is only reading material for these times due to someone endorsing them whom they know or recognize they may never absorb the real intention and just read them without understanding or even the desire to understand them......or.....be disappointed due to something they may later discover about that particular cleric of choice. Oftentimes that sad fact has been a reality.

 

This same thing happened with Pedro Regis. In the beginning of the year of the death of Pope John Paul II Mary gives Pedro a message about a new Pope, a black pope, onix pope, a jesuit pope. But the Pope imediatly elected was Benedict XVI. I think that prophecy of lttw is about the next pope. The next Pope is the man of Our Lady, according to this site.

 

Yes, Pedro Regis prophesied the election of Pope Francis just few days before the election of Pope Benedict XVI, his predecessor. This has been a significant prophecy.

I've been getting full-page Malware / Danger Alerts the last two days when I go there, which I have never seen before. Is anyone else getting that -- EarthToAngels? I went for it anyway, and hoped my Mac didn't see it.

 

Yes, others have been complaining about that. I had gotten a warning when going to the 2014 summary of messages but never the new ones ..... until today. So I went up and clicked on 2015 messages and went to bottom of that page to find the newest locutions there and clicked on each new title to find the new ones under each title. I noticed that on the Facebook page that people were telling the LTTW admin about getting the warnings. Well, one of the previous messages warned about attempts of interference or blocking in the future but implied it would be temporary.
