If, as I believe, Medjugoje is true, it seems like it may well manifest itself soon as the world situation is getting more dire by the day.

  2. I am taking a step back on the locutions bc of the mention of Medegorjie until the pronoucement of the Church.
Yes, I have been keeping an ear out for what they say is coming soon from the Vatican. In the meantime I cannot help but feel that the apparitions are not Heavenly. For a negative view from an expert you might want to read a book from Donal Foley.
    I value your opinions.

The fruits of Medjugorje are to ripe to dismiss it IMHO.

  4. And I respect your opinion. Mine are just different due to many reasons one of them is disobedience almost from its inception.
I think we are all waiting, anxiously, for word from the Church and believe we can all agree on that.

1 Thessalonians 5:19-21 (Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition) - "19 Extinguish not the spirit. 20 Despise not prophecies. 21 But prove all things; hold fast that which is good."

Don't be forgetting that the quest-n-objective of the entire Catholic Church, Marian & other Apparitions, Locutions, Sacramentals, Prayers, Hymns and Devotions is to get YOU (and Me!) through the Pearly Gates and everlasting union with the Triune God ;-)

    JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!

Since going to Medjugorje I have been a regular mass -goer and sayer of the rosary on a daily basis. Medjugorje gave me a profound spiritual boost and fervour for God, Jesus and Our lady and for the Catholic Church. As far as I am concerned it has only done positive things. If anything it has made me more obedient to the Church since going there, contrary to the claims that Medjugorje promotes disobedience .

When Pope Francis goes to Bosnia in June I wonder if any of the journalists on the plane will ask him the questions the rest of us want the answers to.
1 Holy Father are you going to Medjugorje if not why not?
2 Holy Father what is your opinion on the apparitions in Medjugorje?

I've read and followed these locutions for some time. The prophesies gave me great expectations for Francis Papacy. Namely the consecration of Russia, but these locutions seem to have gone off the rails

This is what Mary apparently says of Pope Francis March 3 2013.

He is seen by many and yet remains unknown. He waits for that moment when I call him onto the center of the stage. When the lights go on, he will be totally prepared, better than any other pope in history because he has dwelt so long in my Immaculate Heart. He knows exactly what I will expect from him and he will give this to me as a faithful son. He will give me everything. He will hold back nothing. He will follow only my plan, setting aside all of his own ideas. He is the one of whom I say, “He will bring my light to the nations”.

Now she apparently says this Feb. 11...

Then, and only then, I will raise up my priest son who will wield the key; placed by me in his hands, my special son whom I have prepared for decades. I will bring him on the scene at the darkest moment. In him, the nations will place their hope and he will not disappoint because he is a child of Fatima.

When he assumes the Chair of Peter, the Fatima graces will be released and the great battle will begin. Until then, human responses will be of little avail.

The above statement is the same as the description of Francis before his election (special son, prepared for decades, he will not disappoint, Pope of Fatima.) Its like the author of the locutions has had to alter the story because Francis wasn't panning out. Doesn't sound like something a Devine author would have to do.
That said these locutions seem to have been correct about many other things but the flip flop over Francis is a major stumbling block for their credibility. I'll continue to follow them with my sceptic meter on high and asking God for the gift of discernment.

Further to my above post is this apparent word from Mary just before the conclave and the prophesy above.

I will speak clearly. The words must be like a knife, cutting to the heart. Do not give me a pope who will not consecrate Russia to my Immaculate Heart. Let him not be vague on this issue. It is already late, very late. This must be his primary goal. Consecrating Russia must have been in his heart years ago. I will reject every candidate for whom the consecration of Russia is not first in their hearts. If their names are put forth, I will personally defeat them. I will act through those who are my closest friends.

I have foreseen this conclave. I have inspired Pope Benedict concerning those whom he selected as cardinals. I have many cardinals who cherish the consecration of Russia. Some do this more openly than others. This issue is not to be set aside. If those who lead the conclave want to put it under the table, then I will raise up those who will put it back on the table. Consecrating Russia must be the pope’s first dream, not his afterthought or something that he might get to.

Obviously we didn't get the Pope Francis Mary was apparently delivering in these locutions just before and at the start of his papacy. If I'm missing something here I welcome your input. I don't want to discredit genuine prophesy and these locutions seemed pretty legit for much of what they seemed to predict correctly.

After I read what Padraig had to say about these Locutions, I stopped reading them immediately.

I have noticed one indisputable result: I am much more at peace.

Maybe Msgr Esseff can explain away this discrepancy, otherwise: "Danger Will Robinson, Danger!" I guess our lady here does not speak too clearly.

  12. All I've been able to figure out so far according to these prophecies, is that Pope Francis is supposed to be martyred in Jerusalem (and he did tell journalists that he wouldn't be around but for two or three years, "then off to the Father" -- a very interesting correlation), which is supposed to set the stage for the conversion of the Jews and all other serious believers; and then a succeeding Pope holding the "keys" will take the chair at that darkest moment, the Fatima graces will be released, and "the great battle will begin".

    Then the Great Battle?

I keep wondering if this great battle can possibly be over by the end of 2017, or if that battle will only be getting revved up to the max by then. Could the practical meaning, or misunderstanding, of "The Triumph" be a problem of semantics? Maybe the Triumph will begin, but take a while?

As I opined elsewhere, if things are really to be completed by the end of 2017, this scenario in the locutions could support that end. Because Charlie's word of rescue, and these locutions, seem to be on the same track, or at least the possibility of their synchronicity seems to be there.

If not, if the tribulation woes would go on for an extra few years longer (or even more), these could also provide a support for deception. Will things go as we had always traditionally heard, with an antichrist ruling at his worst for another 3-1/2 years? If so, these could set us up for being suckers to a false prophet.

Or is this present-and-upcoming war to be something so previously unexpected, it will truly be over quickly? I think there is a difference in two "end of age" battles, and we may be assuming we're at a certain stage of history that we aren't.

I'm keeping up with them because I tend to think they are worth it, and I'm going to act on them as being true. For now. They may very well be true, and if they are -- if it's Mary bringing all her warriors together with needful information and warnings -- I do not want to dismiss them.

I don't think I've seen anything troubling in them that can't be explained by our humanity simply not comprehending the Big Picture... or unexpected timings.

We must "watch and weigh", with eyes wide open to truth in sword-edged discernment.

Here's something that Charlie just wrote in the past day in response to a question on his blog. I also had the impression that the "rescue" in Oct 2017 ends the storm, but this is much clearer and it seems that Oct 2017 God sends Our Lady to rescue us from the brink, but then it'll take some time after that to get things back going again. This makes much more sense in terms of timing:

The final crash is NOT the end of the Storm: it is the beginning of the most desperate and furious part of the Storm. The final crash is when the old order effectively dies. Even I do not see much of what happens in the initial period of chaos that follows…probably for about three to six months. That makes me nervous because when something like that is hidden from me, it is often very, very bad. The good God figures no sense in making me over-nervous – for when it gets here, I’ll be busy enough that I won’t have time for panic.

But once that crash comes, the old order dies…a new interim situation must emerge. We have to first, restore a sense of confidence in people that we can endure this. Then we have to engage and combat Islam seriously. As I have said, it will collapse quicker and more easily than anyone imagines – and we will be congratulating ourselves and thinking it is time to fully rebuild. Then the true confrontation will arise – with China. The battle with China is where Christianity will functionally be re-unified and people will get a firm idea of how small we are and how hopeless everything is without reliance on God. The desperation of the struggle is a big part of what will drive America and Russia into a real alliance. It will eventually appear that all is lost – and that is when the Rescue will come. That is when the power of the Storm is broken. There will be vestiges of it for a time, but it will be well and truly broken.

  14. I've had the idea that by "the final crash", Charlie is referring to the global economic / social crash, with loss of jobs and monies and everything "life as usual". And that the Rescue will be the end of what horrific troubles we would have always called "the Tribulation".

  15. I don't see any discrepancy so far. For the fulfillment of Our Lady's stipulation re: Russia to be consecrated and ALL that should involved....namely with all of the bishops which definitely couldn't be the case thus far in this papacy even if this Pope who consecrated his papacy from the beginning to Our Lady of Fatima has the desire. These various callings together of bishops could possibly stand to show just which ones remain with the Pope and just who will not stand in this unity.

Now then, the latest messages speak to her priest son "wielding the keys" and "assuming the chair of Peter". Such words seem to emphasize speaking with the authority of that chair and "wielding the authority" of Peter.....ex cathedra? So then, could a full authoritative action give the choice to the bishops to stand with the Church/Peter during these times of challenge (a way of cleansing the Church).... to remain firm or side with the world that many of them have already given their homage to? Could such a pronouncement or order coming from the "chair" be what will send the apostates to openly show themselves and the great apostasy will unfold? After such a separation due to loyalty or not then those bishops that remain united with Peter would then join in the necessary full response to our Lady's request of Fatima.

Just a discussion of agreement I've had with someone who also follows these.

So earthtoangels, are you thinking that the message of Feb. 11th is still alluding to Pope Francis, not a new one?

  17. Sorta leaning that way....since the "chair of Peter" or actually "wielding" that power via the "keys" is a bit different understanding of the position than "papacy" alone or simple homilies/interviews for teachings in general.

In fact even previously I had thought of the possibility of the priest son still having meaning in this pope but in the sense that he continues to be led by the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Mother in these apocalyptic events opening more and more each day to the "goals" of the Blessed Mother for him. When I mentioned my thoughts regarding this to same friend in discussion (who now also feels that the Pope is the priest son) previously he opined "don't dismiss Msgr Esseff himself"....as a possibility of one who could get the ball rolling, esp. with perhaps a meeting of some sort when Pope Francis comes to PA since M. Esseff is in Scranton diocese.

Suppose we'll have to wait and see!

It seems that the Church is now undergoing the Sorrowful Mysteries and we are now at the Crown of Thorns....meaning attack on the "Head". Also remember how Christ's own abandoned him for the most part at that time of His passion. Shall we see His Vicar, the now suffering one in so many ways, undergo the same type of abandonment with only the Mother and the few close to her left to console him??

  19. And a few other "ideas":

    The Islamic State threatens to come to Rome;

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...-to-rome-italians-respond-with-travel-advice/

Michel de Nostredame – aka Michael of Our Lady, “Nostradamus” (16th century):

“For seven days, the great star shall be seen,
As if two Suns in the sky should appear.
The big Mastiff (Islamic or Arab powers) shall be howling all night
When the Pontiff shall go into exile.”

In August, 1820, Venerable Emmerich saw a vision that brings to mind a vision later seen by Blessed Jacinta of Fatima in 1917
“I see the Holy Father in great anguish. He lives in a palace other than before and he admits only a limited number of friends near him. I fear that the Holy Father will suffer many more trials before he dies. I see that the false church of darkness is making progress, and I see the dreadful influence it has on the people. The Holy Father and the Church are verily in so great a distress that one must implore God day and night.”
In other visions from August to October, 1820, Ven. Emmerich said: “I see more martyrs, not now but in the future…I saw the secret sect relentlesslyundermining the great Church. All over the world, good and devout people, especially the clergy, were harassed, oppressed, and put into prison. I had the feeling that they would become martyrs some day. Then I saw an apparition of the Mother of Godand she said the tribulation would be very greatThe Church is in great danger. We must pray so that the Pope may not leave Rome; countless evils would result if he did. In those days, Faith will fall very low, and it will be preserved in some places only.

Blessed Jacinta of Fatima in 1917:

“I saw the Holy Father in a very big house, kneeling by a table, with his heard buried in his hands, and he was weeping. Outside the house, there were many people. Some of them were throwing stones, others were cursing him and using bad language. Poor Holy Father, we must pray very much for him.”

Sometime later in the same year, Jacinta said to Lucia and her brother, Francisco: “Can’t you see all those highways and roads and fields full of people, who are crying with hunger and have nothing to eat? And the Holy Father in a church praying before the Immaculate Heart of Mary? And so many people praying with him? A few days afterward, she asked Lucia: Can I say that I saw the Holy Father and all those people?” Lucia promptly answered: “No. Don’t you see that’s part of the secret? If you do, they’ll find out right away!”

Shortly before her death, Blessed Jacinta said : “If men will repent, God will pardon them, but if they do not amend their lives, there will come upon the earth the most terrible chastisement ever known.”

    Pope St. Pius X
    (died 1914 A.D.)
In 1909: “What I have seen is terrifying! Will I be the one, or will it be a successor? What is certain is that the Pope will leave Rome and, in leaving the Vatican, he will have to pass over the dead bodies of his priests!”

In 1914, he again had a vision: ‘I saw one of my successors by name fleeing over the corpses of his brethren. He will flee to a place for a short respite where he is unknown; but he himself will die a cruel death.’
