Of much interest to those who have seen the miracle of the sun:

After more than 40 years without going out in the open air, , Luisa was brought out into a garden in a wheelchair. She asked Jesus,
‘My Love, You have told me many times that one who lives in your Divine Will is a sister to all created things. I want to see whether my sister light recognizes me. And do You know how? If, in looking at it, it does not dazzle my sight.’
And Jesus: “Certainly it will recognize you. Try and you will see.”
I looked straight into the center of the sphere of the sun, and the light seemed to caress my pupil, but without dazzling me, in such a way that I was able to look into its center, at its great sea of light. How clear and beautiful it was. How true it is that it symbolizes the infinite, endless sea of light of the Divine Fiat. I said: ‘Thank you, oh Jesus, for letting me be recognized by my sister light.’

How these Hours of the Passion can be done taken from the preface for the Hours by Saint Annibale Maria di Francia

One method is that of meditating one Hour each day by reading it alone, or with one’s family, or with others. In this way, in the round of 24 days, one would complete the 24 Hours. A good clock never stops – life never stops…

A second method would be that of forming groups of various people – 4, 8, 12 or possibly 24 and more – each one committed seriously to doing one of the Hours, assigned for a period of time, before changing the Hour. A good clock marks all the hours - it skips none of them…

A third method, then, is that of doing at least one hour per day, at the time of the day which coincides to that hour, but in any case, to reach such familiarity with the Hours of the Passion, and to assimilate them in such a way, as to be able to follow their content mentally during the whole day. For this purpose it is very helpful to learn by heart the succession of the 24 Hours with the corresponding title, which is reported on the next page.

To “do” an Hour of the Passion means to read it attentively, meditating on it, contemplating it, making it one’s own life… It is not just remembering and compassionating the sufferings of Jesus as something that happened many centuries ago in a far away place; but rather, it is, first of all, to enter into the Divine Will, in which everything is present and in act, and to participate in the interior acts and sufferings of Our Lord, which are present and in act at this precise moment, so as to repeat His life within us, to grow in His likeness, and to pour upon everyone the infinite value, merits and effects of His Passion.

Jesus Himself explains this very important difference: “To repeat my Passion in act in the creature, is different from one who only thinks of my pains and compassionates them. The first is an act of my Life, which takes my place in order to repeat my pains, and I feel I am given back the effects and the value of a Divine Life; while in thinking of my pains and in compassionating Me, it is only the company of the creature that I feel. But do you know in whom I can repeat my pains, in act, of my Passion? In one who has my Will as center of life. (October 24, 1925 Vol. 18)

One can comprehend, then, how the Hours of the Passion are not just a reading, and not even a devotion, but a formation of life: the interior life of Jesus. In this way, day after day, we will feel more and more that Jesus is truly living in us - not just our life, but His very Divine Life.

Lent is coming - pray the Hours of the Passion

    For lynnfiat and kathyk:
I have only brushed the fringes of living in the divine will, but by you fruits you will be known. Reading posts on this forum i have been continually struck by the peaceful way ye both post and the decency of your attitude to everyone here. The light ye radiate is a definitive sign to me of the veracity of these messages.
God bless you both, and i thank ye for the example ye set.

An excerpt from the Twenty-third Hour from 3 to 4 PM: Jesus, dead, is pierced by the thrust of a lance

"Ah, how many things does this Wound, opened by Love, tell me! And if Your mouth is mute, Your Heart speaks to me, and I hear It say, “My child, after I gave everything, I wanted this lance to open a shelter for all souls inside this Heart of Mine. Opened, It will cry out to all, continuously: Come into Me if you want to be saved. In this Heart you will find Sanctity and you will make yourselves saints; you will find relief in afflictions, Strength in weakness, Peace in doubts, company in abandonments. O souls who love Me, if you really want to love Me, come to dwell in this Heart forever. Here you will find True Love in order to Love Me, and ardent Flames for you to be Burned and Consumed completely in Love. Everything is centered in this Heart: here are the Sacraments contained, here My Church, here the Life of My Church and the Life of all souls. In It I also feel the profanations made against My Church, the plots of the enemies, the arrows they send, and My oppressed children—there is no offense that My Heart does not feel. Therefore, My child, may your life be in this Heart—defend Me, repair Me, bring Me everyone into It.”

Bartimaeus, I echo the words of Luisa for you, "I delight and rejoice in hearing that you interest yourself in the Divine Fiat, and together with me, Jesus rejoices and delights. I say to you, 'Thank you from the heart' together with my dear Jesus. Whatever you can do, do it; the rest will be done by Jesus, who so much wants, loves and yearns that His Will be known and possessed by the creature as her own life." God bless you.

On the Feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes, I offer a prayer of Luisa's:

‘My sweet Jesus, while I am clasped to You, I want to attest to You my love, my gratitude, and everything that the creature has the duty to do, because You have created our Immaculate Queen Mama - the most beautiful, the holiest, and a portent of grace, enriching Her with all gifts, and making Her also our Mother. And this I do in the name of creatures, past, present and future; I want to seize, in flight, each act of creature - word, thought, heartbeat and step, and in each of them tell You that I love You, I thank You, I bless You, I adore You, for all that You have done for my Celestial Mama and Yours.’
Jesus enjoyed my act – but so much, that He said to me: “My daughter, I was anxiously awaiting this act of yours in the name of all generations. My justice, my love, felt the need of this requital, because great are the graces that descend upon all, for having so enriched my Mama. Yet, they never have a word, a ‘thank You’, to say to Me.”

    April 10, 1913 Volume 11
Value and effects of the Hours of the Passion.

This morning my always lovable Jesus came, and hugging me to His Heart, told me: “My daughter, one who always thinks about my Passion forms a fount within her heart, and the more she thinks about It, the larger this fount becomes. And just as the waters that spring up are waters common to everyone, in the same way, this fount of my Passion which is formed in her heart serves for the good of the soul, for my glory, and for the good of all creatures.” And I: ‘Tell me, my Good, what will You give as recompense to those who will do the Hours of the Passion the way You taught them to me?’

And He: “My daughter, I will look at these Hours, not as yours, but as done by Me. I will give you my same merits, as if I were in the act of suffering my Passion; and the same effects, according to the dispositions of the souls. This, while they are on earth - and I could not give them a greater reward. Then, in Heaven, I will place these souls in front of Me, darting through them with darts of love and of contentments for as many times as they did the Hours of my Passion; and they will dart through Me. What a sweet enchantment this will be for all the Blessed!”

Yes, I suspect Jesus was referring to Saint Bridget in the following passage from November 4, 1914 Volume 11:
"I was doing the Hours of the Passion and Jesus, all pleased, told me: “My daughter, if you knew what great satisfaction I feel in seeing you repeating these Hours of my Passion - always repeating them, over and over again - you would be happy. It is true that my Saints have meditated on my Passion and have comprehended how much I suffered, melting in tears of compassion, so much so, as to feel consumed for love of my pains; but not in such a continuous way, and repeated many times in this order. Therefore I can say that you are the first one to give Me this pleasure, so great and special, as you keep fragmenting within you - hour by hour - my life and what I suffered. And I feel so drawn that, hour by hour, I give you this food and I eat the same food with you, doing what you do together with you. Know, however, that I will reward you abundantly with new light and new graces; and even after your death, each time souls on earth will do these Hours of my Passion, in Heaven I will clothe you with ever new light and glory.”

Peter B wrote in an earlier post: "It goes without saying that if Luisa's writings are genuinely from God, which is what at least three canonized saints strongly felt (Pope Pius X, Luisa's extraordinary confessor St Annibale M. di Francia and Padre Pio), then the implications are huge because of the content."

Father Iannuzzi writes that it is in the third Fiat, i.e., Fiat of Sanctification, that Luisa's writings offer the greatest theological contribution to a renewed understanding of the operation of the Divine Will in man: "In the following message to Luisa, Jesus reveals that the purpose of the third 'Fiat of Sanctification' is to restore man to his original state through the renewal of his human will in the Divine Will":
He [Jesus] added: “Let us say ‘Fiat’ together.” And [when we did] everything in heaven and on earth was filled with adoration to the Supreme Majesty. Then, again, he repeated: “Fiat”, and Jesus' Blood, wounds, the pains arose and multiplied to infinity. And then, for the third time, “Fiat”, and this Fiat multiplied in the wills of all souls to sanctify them. Then, he said to me: “My daughter these three Fiats are the creating, the redeeming, and the sanctifying Fiat. In creating man, I endowed him with three powers: The intellect, the memory and the will, and with three Fiats I will accomplish the work of man's sanctification.

In the "Fiat of Creation", man's intellect remained as though enraptured. How many things he understood about Me and about my love for him who am hidden inside all created things to make Myself known and to give him love so as to be loved. In the "Fiat of Redemption", his memory remains as though enchanted by the excesses of My love in suffering in order to help and save him in his state of sin. In the third "Fiat [of Sanctification]", My love wants to display [itself] even more. I want to assail the human will: I want to uphold man's will with My own Will, so that his human will may remain not only enraptured and enchanted, but sustained by an Eternal Will [...] Human generations will not pass until my Will reigns on earth. My redeeming Fiat will place itself in the middle, between the creating Fiat and the sanctifying Fiat. All three together will interweave and accomplish the sanctification of man. The third Fiat will give so much grace to man as to restore him to his original state. And only then, when I see man as I created him, will My work be complete, and I will take up My perpetual rest in the last Fiat [...] So, be attentive and, together with Me, help Me to complete[ly actualize] man's sanctification". Volume 12 February 22, 1921

From The Gift Of Living In The Divine Will In The Writings of Luisa Piccarreta by Father Joseph Iannuzzi:

[Luisa] maintains that this new outpouring of the third Fiat of Sanctification that God has recently imparted to the Church, is the fulfillment of the Our Father prayer. To Luisa Jesus reveals:

“My daughter, the first Fiat was pronounced in creation with no intervention of a human creature. The second Fiat was pronounced in Redemption [...] Now, for the fulfillment of both, I want to pronounce the third Fiat [...] This third Fiat will bring to completion the glory and the honor of the Fiat of Creation, and will be confirmation and development of all the fruits of the Fiat of Redemption. These three Fiats will be the Most Holy Trinity's overshadowing of man on earth, and I will obtain My Fiat Voluntas Tua on earth as it is in heaven. These three Fiats will be inseparable, with each one constituting the life of the other." Volume 12 January 24, 1921

Here is an excellent audio commentary on this passage by Father Robert Young:

Thank you, Peter, for your post. I think a passage from Father Joseph Leo Iannuzzi's dissertation might be instructive as well.

"Inasmuch as Jesus Reveals to Luisa that her writings contain the revelation of God himself and will help to renew the Church and transform the face of the earth their publication, he affirms, is of great necessity:

    [From Luisa's Diary August 2, 1928 Volume 24]
My daughter, it is My absolute Divine Will that these writings of My Divine Will be made known. Despite the many incidents that may occur, My Will shall overcome them all. Although it may take years and years, My absolute Will knows how to dispose everything to accomplish its objective. The time in which these writings will be made known is relative to and dependent on the disposition of souls who wish to receive so great a good, as well as on the effort of those who must apply themselves in being it trumpet-bearers by offering up the sacrifice of heralding in the new era of peace, the new sun that will dispel the clouds of all evils" [bolding of text is mine].

St Therese the little flower says faith is confidence/trust in God.Trust without seeing, so its a blind faith in a sort of way... I go by St Ignatius of Loyola discernment 101, if my heart is troubled and angry its of the devil if I get true peace its the Lords doing. Gods will is the present moment, whatever you are doing per my Parish Priest.
    Luke 12:22
[ Do Not Worry ] And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on.

    Matthew 6:34
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day.

    2 Corinthians 12:9
but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
